“Amazing. One of the next meals we have ever had. Loved the service as well as the food. Everyone so friendly and we appreciated the evening very much because of them. Special thanks to Shanna, our server; Matt, the sommelier; Terry for taking good care of us; and of course to Chef Okan Kizilbayir and his amazing culinary team“
“Adorrableee outdoor seating, with live music, and delicious food! The drunken cheesy bread is a *must* do, then I got the berry salad and it was exactly what I wanted, fresh and delicious! The tuna special that night was a 10/10 for my boyfriend. Also our server, (Jackie I think) was insanely sweet & efficient, really the best server we had on vacation there, so shoutout Jackie you’re killing it. Would love to go back!“
“We had our rehearsal dinner last night at Cafe Karibou and it was a great experience! Tim (GM) was so helpful during the full process and very responsive via email & in person. The food was really good-some of my favorites were the pasta primavera & beef medallions. The bar staff was so helpful and even during dinner, she was able to walk around to refill drinks. Definitely recommend!“
“After decades enjoying great TexMex in Dallas we endured 10 years of no TexMex in Baltimore before moving to Amelia Island. We’ve done all of the Mexican restaurants here and each has its own strengths, but Don Patron is our favorite by far. The food is very much like what we had loved in Texas and at a similar, reasonable price. The service is fast (usually) and friendly (always). The guacamole is the best in town.“
“Timoti’s is an outstanding local restaurant and has exceptional food & atmosphere. My favs are the tuna poke bowl & blacken catch of the day sandwich….along with locally caught fried shrimp (best fried shrimp on the island). Crazy good.“
“We went to Mason's in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The clerk taking our order explained what each lobster roll contained and how it was prepared. We ordered lobster rolls and my spouse ordered lobster bisque and I ordered the New England clam chowder. Being from New England, I was anxious to see if their chowder measured up to "real" New England clam chowder. It was as good as or better!! The lobster rolls were toasted perfectly and full of lobster-they didn't skimp. We ate on their porch - a nice spot to enjoy lunch and people watch. Wish they'd open a spot here in New England!“
“We visit the Salty Pelican every time we come to the island, sometimes more than once. Everything is good. Seriously, I have yet to taste anything on the menu that wasn't delicious. The service is always friendly and attentive. There is a wait during their busy times but it is 100% worth it.“
“This place is a real gem. My experience started with the phone call to see if they had any openings last minute for a table for three and the gentleman couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming. When we arrived, we were seated right away and the food and service were superb. I ordered the snapper and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place.“
“First time guests, food quality and value were excellent. Minimally acceptable wine selection for a wine bistro but we managed. Very crowded and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table after arriving on time for our reservation. If our dining experience, once we got to it, had been less than exceptional I'd have gone with a lower rating.“
“I didn't know this sliders also housed a Tortuga Jack's. Very pleasantly surprised by that lol. We got there just as they opened, so everything was fresh and hot and really good. The only downfall, was today the weather was on the cool side. I'm quite sure it would have been a much better experience had it been warmer outside. It was really nice though. We will be going back.“
“Absolutely hands down one of our favorite restaurants on the island and the absolute BEST for steaks. Gordon is an absolute riot and Graving is phenomenal. You cannot go wrong requesting either as your server and Rachel, the manager is absolutely fantastic...and has an amazing jewelry business on the side. If you want a steak do not go to Baxter's unless you'd like poor service and rubber.... Bob's has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff that remember you and make you feel special (and in Gordon's case you get a free comedy show), and incredible food. I highly recommend the mushrooms as well. Bob's is our go to for fine dining and a fun lovely yet friendly intimate atmosphere. Make sure you take a moment to relax by the fire pits and enjoy the march/golf course views.“
“We ordered The catch of the day BLT, Lobster Roll sandwich, beer & a White Peach Sangria. The food was great. Lobster Roll was full of meat. My 4 comes because the Sangria was very watered down & not much flavor ..like it was pre poured & the ice melted. We sat for over 10 min before our server even acknowledged we were there, after passing by several times. The atmosphere was fun! Live music. We will be back for sure.“
“DRAYA & LAUREN not only provided outstanding service. They made the entire experience, enjoyable, fun and memorable.!!!I highly recommend sitting at the upstairs deck bar and enjoying your meal with laughter and special customer serviceThe location atmosphere food and ambience was terrific as well !“
“Ate here twice during my stay. The first dish was the tuna bowl. It had good flavor but could have used a little more dressing. BUT they had some sort of chip or breading in the dish but it was extremely hard (or stale). It hurt my teeth everytime i bit into them.Second day i had the street tacos. The fish of the day was mahi and it was delicious. The shirmp taco was kinda boring and the chicken was enjoyable but not super great.Friendly staff with great service! Flore was our server!!! Give her a raise! ;)“
“Good food. Nice outdoor eating area. Drinks good but that's my only issue. The bartender is also the cashier. Been several times I had to wait over 15 minutes for my mixed drinks. All the waitresses have a good attitude. Been there enough time to have have all of them to serve me. Wait time for drinks is my only negative for this place.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and handicap parking at this location“
“Dining outside with my family while the sun set with live music out on their patio felt more like a short vacation than dinner. Staff were very attentive and the dinner was savory and dessert was tasted like it shouldn’t have been shared.Kid-friendliness: We all danced to the live music along with another family and their toddlers. Bathrooms were clean and spacious enough to bring three kiddos at a time to wash hands.“
“A yearly stop on our way to or from FL, this third time was not up to the level of previous years. We went early to avoid any Concours crowd (5:45 reservation) and our server could not have been more attentive throughout the meal. But they were out of clams (my go to favorite pasta dish) so I had the Carbonara instead (as did another in our party of four), which I thought was good and not saucy. Another in our foursome had the short rib special and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our four had the Bolognese and she was not impressed. We decided to skip dessert.“
“Here's another restaurant added to my favorite restaurant to go back to in downtown Amelia Island. Amazing view of water topped it off with a nice lunch and friendly crews. My husband had the shrimp po boy and I had the Buffalo shrimp salad, both are exquisitely tasty. I also tried the crab hush puppies- I tasted a touch of crab in it but I was expecting more of crabs. But overall, I liked what ww ordered. The nice view and tasty food made it very easy for me to rate it 5 star. With an appetizer (crab grit au gratin) and 2 meals plus 3 drinks totalled $97 without tip.“
“This is the most comfortable establishment headed towards Amelia Island. The drinks are top shelf and the food is wonderful.Get a group together and enjoy the outdoor deck or stay indoors, either way there's plenty of space for everyone.“
“We ordered the seafood platter. The seafood was nice and hot, and you can tell it's fresh! We enjoyed the Maui, local shrimp, fried oysters, and the house made seasoned chips dunked into blue cheese as advised by our lovely server. It's a local favorite, a hidden gem! It's located at the underside of the bridge with some amazing views.“
“Very good. Almost excellent.Went with wife for a special occasion to a very crowded restaurant on a Saturday night. Sat at the bar, bc there were no tables. I was prepared to be disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice except for the bar lights, which seem out of place for a turn of the century building. I also think the bar back should be more traditional with more mirrored surface. It would widen the room and provide a view of the teriffic 2 piece combo playing live (Think Sinatra etc), nice touch. We started with the mussels. Really good, tender, perfect sauce. Needs 2 pieces of bread, bc everyone shares mussels and the sauce is that good. An 8.5. Both fish courses were very good, almost excellent. Crab stuffed flounder piccata and jerked snapper. Both a 7 or 8 and a large piece of fish. Not a portion size off a sysco truck, it seems. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. He was very busy, but made our time enjoyable.Well done to FB's Crab Trap!“
“Great family restaurant! We at here the night before the Taxslayer Gator Bowl. The food was freshly cooked, hot, and delicious, but not very expensive. Destiny was our server. I highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: I’m an adult, but they allowed me to order from the kids menu. I didn’t want to order an adult portion and bring a box of leftovers back to the hotel. It was the perfect amount for me. I cleaned my plate and was full and satisfied!“
“I am always hesitant to try hotel restaurants but after coming here I was so impressed. The food was exceptional and presentation is lovely. I had arrived back to Omni late, so I had dinner an hour before closing time. The baked oysters were the most delicious I’ve ever had from any place. The shrimp and grits so hearty. My stomach was so happy. I highly recommend you have at least one meal here during your stay at Omni Resort.“
“I love this place for its food, friendly service, ambience and location. Will keep coming back. The folks dogging this restaurant 5 days ago received an apology and an enormous amount of freebies from the new GM (I know because I was there). Hopefully they can move past this incident and stop talking negatively about the establishment and GM, who apparently felt threatened by this group and thus the reason for calling the police. Very unfortunate but will work itself out“
“My experience at David's restaurant was rewarding and satisfying, the service of the staff is extraordinary, there is a good variety of dishes, drinks and desserts. I was delighted with what I ordered, widely recommended and without a doubt I will visit this place again.“
