“Amazing. One of the next meals we have ever had. Loved the service as well as the food. Everyone so friendly and we appreciated the evening very much because of them. Special thanks to Shanna, our server; Matt, the sommelier; Terry for taking good care of us; and of course to Chef Okan Kizilbayir and his amazing culinary team“
“This restaurant is tucked away on a side street and looks like someone's home. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is homey. Our party had the duck, waygu beef, lamb bolognese and vegetarian entree with scallops. All were so good. Also do yourself a favor and order the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. You won't be disappointed.“
“We had our rehearsal dinner last night at Cafe Karibou and it was a great experience! Tim (GM) was so helpful during the full process and very responsive via email & in person. The food was really good-some of my favorites were the pasta primavera & beef medallions. The bar staff was so helpful and even during dinner, she was able to walk around to refill drinks. Definitely recommend!“
“Adorrableee outdoor seating, with live music, and delicious food! The drunken cheesy bread is a *must* do, then I got the berry salad and it was exactly what I wanted, fresh and delicious! The tuna special that night was a 10/10 for my boyfriend. Also our server, (Jackie I think) was insanely sweet & efficient, really the best server we had on vacation there, so shoutout Jackie you’re killing it. Would love to go back!“
“Timoti’s is an outstanding local restaurant and has exceptional food & atmosphere. My favs are the tuna poke bowl & blacken catch of the day sandwich….along with locally caught fried shrimp (best fried shrimp on the island). Crazy good.“
“Pogo's Kitchen is a hidden gem located at Amelia Island. I found out about this restaurant when I was looking for a venue place and this place pop up on zola, i was intrigued so I told my husband I want to go visit this place and the rest was history.Pogo's Kitchen is in the middle of Oak trees when you are driving around Amelia Island, It is closed to Omni hotel, they have plenty of parking spots so it's a win win already on that part.Food: Highly recommend, went here this past Saturday evening to have our food tasting (yes, we booked Pogo's Kitchen) for our appetizer we tried the oysters, we picked the Pogo's version and the regular version which was both pretty good! Oysters was so fresh and the seasoning they put in there was fantastic! we also got the chance to try the she crab soup which was creamy and the lump crab on the middle was perfect! as for dinner we had the braised beef, char grilled fillet and the pan seared halibut as for our sides we had fingerling potatoes, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and we added broccolini. the favorites was the char grilled fillet and the halibut. ohhh you know the chef knows what they are doing if they did not ask you how you want your steak but when it came out it was AMAZINGLY PERFECT!, the Halibut, the freshest and juiciest fish I ever tried! as for the sides winner was the mashed potatoes, asparagus and the broccolini, but of course we have to try dessert we had the berry cobbler and the pecan tart... I was obsessed with the pecan tart! I can eat that everyday lol.all in all, i love Pogo's Kitchen, the staff are always on point. Wade did a marvelous job serving us and he was very attentive! also, this place gives a very romantic and yet elegant vibe! they have outdoor seating as well not much but they do.“
“Great friendly staff, good food and some of the best fresh shrimp in town. They close by 2pm and sometimes if busy the may run out of fresh shrimp, so get there early! Their coleslaw and broccoli salad are also very tasty with their own twist of flavor.“
“So we walk in and owner needs to head home early. We happen to meet him at the door and we ask him what to order. The special Gumbo, scallop app and Mahi/shrimp special w grits instead of the rice as it’s listed. I’m telling you, died and went to heaven. Staff was outrageously nice and entertaining. They love working there and it shows. Dont miss it. 6 out of 5 stars.“
“We visit the Salty Pelican every time we come to the island, sometimes more than once. Everything is good. Seriously, I have yet to taste anything on the menu that wasn't delicious. The service is always friendly and attentive. There is a wait during their busy times but it is 100% worth it.“
“This place has it all: Excellent food, relaxed friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. We’ve dined at several places on Amelia Island and felt either sick from cheap bar food or snubbed by pretentious places. Bar Zin left us full and happy. Menu choices; curry ceasar salad, shrimp and crab dip, chicken picada, scallops, snapper. Yum!“
“Yes Daniel.. there is a dress code, no beach ware. This is a private club. The service is amazing. I have no idea how people are commenting on Long Point, if they are not members. If they are members their comments should be directed to the Long Point manager, who is always there for lunch and dinner. Our family loves Long Point, and I have never heard a negative comment from any Club member.“
“It is a great local sports bar style that offers tasty BBQ and several fish choices. There is ample room to relax and a total bar area to watch games. If you are in the area looking for tasty sports pub food, this is your go-to. Nestled between resorts. Locals, and Onward to Fernandina Beach. #904food“
“Service was pleasant and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food selections. Irish Beef Stew was rich and hearty. The fish and chips were delicious and well portioned. The Reuben sandwich was piled high and very tasty. Nice selection of brews, not many but varied enough to make everyone happy. We were inside but there was a band playing outside. It looked like everyone on the patio were enjoying themselves go back again.“

“DRAYA & LAUREN not only provided outstanding service. They made the entire experience, enjoyable, fun and memorable.!!!I highly recommend sitting at the upstairs deck bar and enjoying your meal with laughter and special customer serviceThe location atmosphere food and ambience was terrific as well !“
“Sadly, Joe's 2nd Street Bistro is permanently closed as of January 1st 2024Service is always excellent at Joe's 2nd Street Bistro and food is delicious! Great place for Sunday lunch yesterday. They are carefully practicing social distancing even though it is too cold for their lovely outdoor seating. The courtyard is a treat in the summer - shaded with a tinkling fountain. House wines are nice and very fairly priced. Everything from big burgers to local shrimp entrees. Really a great place to relax and enjoy your meal.“
“A very enjoyable dinner while staying in Amelia Island. Thr food was absolutely delicious. My husband and both orderd fish meals - of which 1 was sea scallops, they were perfectly cooked - not easy to do. Nick our server was super friendly and pleasant, helpful and attentive. Definitely want to try out this gem of an establishment!“
“Grab and go breakfast is very convenient, chia seed pudding was very good and fresh. Blueberry muffin was good but only had a few blueberries, one blueberry had a stem attached. The breakfast grab and go was very busy around 9am. The manager came to help out since they were so busy, which was nice.“
“The beertender was amazing and helpful and personable. I couldn't decide what I wanted, and she did not get frustrated with me at all. Instead she engaged in conversation and helped to make suggestions! We had a porter with Irish cream and it was delicious!“
“First time there. I ordered the filet special to go and was beyond delighted with the quality, freshness of the vegetables and flavoring on every item in the dinner. It was DELICIOUS! Far better than a few other places, in the same range of food type, locally. I could not recommend it more.“
“Loved the shrimp n grits better than normal with their special ingredients add. Cakes made by Carolyns are moist and delicious by the slice or whole cake: coconut, red velvet, keylime, Pina colada, chocolate, Italian wedding, Boston cream, German chocolate!! And the absolute best must have is grilled biscuit!! Melt in your mouth good! Stacy was always helpful and had an apron filled with all colors of markers!“
“Here's another restaurant added to my favorite restaurant to go back to in downtown Amelia Island. Amazing view of water topped it off with a nice lunch and friendly crews. My husband had the shrimp po boy and I had the Buffalo shrimp salad, both are exquisitely tasty. I also tried the crab hush puppies- I tasted a touch of crab in it but I was expecting more of crabs. But overall, I liked what ww ordered. The nice view and tasty food made it very easy for me to rate it 5 star. With an appetizer (crab grit au gratin) and 2 meals plus 3 drinks totalled $97 without tip.“
“The service was WONDERFUL. everyone was so super sweet and our food got to us in such a quick time with it being so busy. The inside IS a little small and can get crowded extremely quickly but that doesn't take away that the food was amazing and the workers were kind.“
“I will start by saying this restaurant/brewery is all about location: right in the heart of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our server was wonderful: attentive and friendly. The food was your basic pub fare. My son's buffalo wings were on the dry side and my salad was your basic Cobb. I got a flight of 4 beers (2 I first requested were unfortunately out). I found the beer to be ok- nothing stood out about it and made me want to try a full pour. There was a great selection of cocktails, which I now wish I had selected instead of the beer.“
“Nice views, good (& quick!! ) service, and delicious food!We had a oysters, shrimp cocktail, a salad with blue cheese, and a poke bowl! All the dishes tasted amazing and were served in less than 10 minutes, though the place was quite busy. Our waitress Sarah was also very nice and friendly, taking good care of us! Thank you so much guys!! We will definitely be back ❤️“
“I enjoyed the chicken & jack grilled sandwich with great tasting fresh broccoli & their big ‘ole fries. They have a 5 cheese pizza that we got 2 different times it was amazing and creamy! I never had goat cheese and the other cheeses but super happy we tried it!! So worth it! The Loop has terrific salads & soups! They stay on top of everything when they’re busy because The Loop seems popular!Kid-friendliness: Family oriented as well great kids menu.“
“If we could give them a ten, we would. We had 8 people. We had pasta, steak, chicken tenders, and lobster. Everything was prepared perfectly. Definitely recommend eating here. We even had warm homemade bread brought out to start with. Everything was great.Kid-friendliness: They have a separate section on menu for kids.“
“I am always hesitant to try hotel restaurants but after coming here I was so impressed. The food was exceptional and presentation is lovely. I had arrived back to Omni late, so I had dinner an hour before closing time. The baked oysters were the most delicious I’ve ever had from any place. The shrimp and grits so hearty. My stomach was so happy. I highly recommend you have at least one meal here during your stay at Omni Resort.“
“My experience at David's restaurant was rewarding and satisfying, the service of the staff is extraordinary, there is a good variety of dishes, drinks and desserts. I was delighted with what I ordered, widely recommended and without a doubt I will visit this place again.“
