“Adorrableee outdoor seating, with live music, and delicious food! The drunken cheesy bread is a *must* do, then I got the berry salad and it was exactly what I wanted, fresh and delicious! The tuna special that night was a 10/10 for my boyfriend. Also our server, (Jackie I think) was insanely sweet & efficient, really the best server we had on vacation there, so shoutout Jackie you’re killing it. Would love to go back!”

“Pogo's Kitchen is a hidden gem located at Amelia Island. I found out about this restaurant when I was looking for a venue place and this place pop up on zola, i was intrigued so I told my husband I want to go visit this place and the rest was history.Pogo's Kitchen is in the middle of Oak trees when you are driving around Amelia Island, It is closed to Omni hotel, they have plenty of parking spots so it's a win win already on that part.Food: Highly recommend, went here this past Saturday evening to have our food tasting (yes, we booked Pogo's Kitchen) for our appetizer we tried the oysters, we picked the Pogo's version and the regular version which was both pretty good! Oysters was so fresh and the seasoning they put in there was fantastic! we also got the chance to try the she crab soup which was creamy and the lump crab on the middle was perfect! as for dinner we had the braised beef, char grilled fillet and the pan seared halibut as for our sides we had fingerling potatoes, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and we added broccolini. the favorites was the char grilled fillet and the halibut. ohhh you know the chef knows what they are doing if they did not ask you how you want your steak but when it came out it was AMAZINGLY PERFECT!, the Halibut, the freshest and juiciest fish I ever tried! as for the sides winner was the mashed potatoes, asparagus and the broccolini, but of course we have to try dessert we had the berry cobbler and the pecan tart... I was obsessed with the pecan tart! I can eat that everyday lol.all in all, i love Pogo's Kitchen, the staff are always on point. Wade did a marvelous job serving us and he was very attentive! also, this place gives a very romantic and yet elegant vibe! they have outdoor seating as well not much but they do.”

“We went to Mason's in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The clerk taking our order explained what each lobster roll contained and how it was prepared. We ordered lobster rolls and my spouse ordered lobster bisque and I ordered the New England clam chowder. Being from New England, I was anxious to see if their chowder measured up to "real" New England clam chowder. It was as good as or better!! The lobster rolls were toasted perfectly and full of lobster-they didn't skimp. We ate on their porch - a nice spot to enjoy lunch and people watch. Wish they'd open a spot here in New England!”

“Sadly, Joe's 2nd Street Bistro is permanently closed as of January 1st 2024Service is always excellent at Joe's 2nd Street Bistro and food is delicious! Great place for Sunday lunch yesterday. They are carefully practicing social distancing even though it is too cold for their lovely outdoor seating. The courtyard is a treat in the summer - shaded with a tinkling fountain. House wines are nice and very fairly priced. Everything from big burgers to local shrimp entrees. Really a great place to relax and enjoy your meal.”

“We went to Twisted Table for breakfast. They were very short staffed, but made sure that we had our drinks out quick. They made us aware of the wait and apologized for any inconvenience during the unexpected breakfast rush. Breakfast was delicious! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They served German Octoberfest beers and authentic German foods like bratwurst and schnitzel. We love the German beer and foods. We love this place so much. So, we visited it twice. “Absolutely hands down one of our favorite restaurants on the island and the absolute BEST for steaks. Gordon is an absolute riot and Graving is phenomenal. You cannot go wrong requesting either as your server and Rachel, the manager is absolutely fantastic...and has an amazing jewelry business on the side. If you want a steak do not go to Baxter's unless you'd like poor service and rubber.... Bob's has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff that remember you and make you feel special (and in Gordon's case you get a free comedy show), and incredible food. I highly recommend the mushrooms as well. Bob's is our go to for fine dining and a fun lovely yet friendly intimate atmosphere. Make sure you take a moment to relax by the fire pits and enjoy the march/golf course views.”

“I will start by saying this restaurant/brewery is all about location: right in the heart of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our server was wonderful: attentive and friendly. The food was your basic pub fare. My son's buffalo wings were on the dry side and my salad was your basic Cobb. I got a flight of 4 beers (2 I first requested were unfortunately out). I found the beer to be ok- nothing stood out about it and made me want to try a full pour. There was a great selection of cocktails, which I now wish I had selected instead of the beer.”

“We’re visiting from out of town & I’ve been a huge Taco Bell fan for years, so much so that friends & family give me Taco Bell gift cards for birthdays & Christmas. Every town I go to in the US, I always have to have Taco Bell & I will say this specific Taco Bell (023699) is probably one of the best in the country. I’ve been 3 times in 4 days. The first 2 times I went around 11pm - 12am & both times the food was on point. The refried beans weren’t all dried out like they tend to be, the ingredients were spread throughout the entire length of the burrito as opposed to all on one side. I thought maybe it was just the same person both nights making the food, but then we decided to stop & get it again on our way out of town today at around 12:30pm & it was the same! I’m very impressed! Keep up the great service!Vegetarian options: You can literally veganize anything on the menu.”

“Amazing Taco's for Sure! I highly recommend this place. First off, Noelle and Jared are SUPER AWESOME PEOPLE! Very friendly service, and the food was Absolutely Amazing. The way they fry the tortillas makes them super crunchy with a unique texture (I don't know how they do it) and they are out of this world! I had the number 1 comb, 1 chicken w/green sauce, one beef w/ red sauce. They come with Rice and Beans. The quality is outstanding! I could easily eat there every other day and never get burnt out on the food or the fellowship ? Sorry I didn't take any pictures...it smelled so good that I never even opened the container ?✌️Parking: They are located right on the side of the road. You can just pull off into the grass or gravel, easy peasy. If you pass it, just turn around at your safest convenience.”

“Amazing Food with Amazing History. We love eating here and have been for 20 years. The food is always incredibly good with unique options that satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. We have had some less than awesome service the last couple of visits but we don't expect it to be the norm. Hours are limited so make sure that you double check to ensure they are open. This is hands down the best Brunch on the Island and unlimited mix and match Mimosas/Bloody Maries for only $10 makes it even better. We highly recommend this place and think you will love it. We Recommend the Shrimp and Grits or "The Hoss" but literally, everything on the menu is excellent.”

When we asked about certain mixed drinks our engaging bartender Johnny explained the difference between a saloon and a bar. Basically a Saloon doesn't have all the ingredients for fancy drinks. “Pogo's Kitchen is a hidden gem located at Amelia Island. I found out about this restaurant when I was looking for a venue place and this place pop up on zola, i was intrigued so I told my husband I want to go visit this place and the rest was history.Pogo's Kitchen is in the middle of Oak trees when you are driving around Amelia Island, It is closed to Omni hotel, they have plenty of parking spots so it's a win win already on that part.Food: Highly recommend, went here this past Saturday evening to have our food tasting (yes, we booked Pogo's Kitchen) for our appetizer we tried the oysters, we picked the Pogo's version and the regular version which was both pretty good! Oysters was so fresh and the seasoning they put in there was fantastic! we also got the chance to try the she crab soup which was creamy and the lump crab on the middle was perfect! as for dinner we had the braised beef, char grilled fillet and the pan seared halibut as for our sides we had fingerling potatoes, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and we added broccolini. the favorites was the char grilled fillet and the halibut. ohhh you know the chef knows what they are doing if they did not ask you how you want your steak but when it came out it was AMAZINGLY PERFECT!, the Halibut, the freshest and juiciest fish I ever tried! as for the sides winner was the mashed potatoes, asparagus and the broccolini, but of course we have to try dessert we had the berry cobbler and the pecan tart... I was obsessed with the pecan tart! I can eat that everyday lol.all in all, i love Pogo's Kitchen, the staff are always on point. Wade did a marvelous job serving us and he was very attentive! also, this place gives a very romantic and yet elegant vibe! they have outdoor seating as well not much but they do.”

“We were the only ones at 130p. Guess th3 crowd was gone. We met the server at the bar, placed our drink and food order. Wings and Pizza. 10 minutes later she served us. Probably some of the best wings I have ever had. Great flavor, great presentation. I got the spicy ones, did I mention great flavor? Pepperoni Pizza was flavorful, little greasy, but nothing a napkin couldn't soak up. Can't wait to get back to the wings! Keep up the great flavors!”

“Here's another restaurant added to my favorite restaurant to go back to in downtown Amelia Island. Amazing view of water topped it off with a nice lunch and friendly crews. My husband had the shrimp po boy and I had the Buffalo shrimp salad, both are exquisitely tasty. I also tried the crab hush puppies- I tasted a touch of crab in it but I was expecting more of crabs. But overall, I liked what ww ordered. The nice view and tasty food made it very easy for me to rate it 5 star. With an appetizer (crab grit au gratin) and 2 meals plus 3 drinks totalled $97 without tip.”
