“Food was good, service was slow but that's probably because it was busy. Had a live band that was okay, but it was so loud we couldn't carry a conversation. Sad because we are from Colorado and went to dinner with our Florida family.“
“Nice dining, ordered the blackened sampler. Good choice. Wife got the fried, a bit too much breading for me. Kind of a loud place, they serve a lot of large groups, so if your looking for something intimate, this isn't the place for you. If your looking for good food, then it's a great place.“
“The food here was delicious! We ordered the General Tso's bean curd, Szechuan Beef, Pork dumplings, Lo Mein, and veggie fried rice. The food was flavorful, and the meat was tender! This restaurant is our new favorite! We will continue to come back!“
“If you don't like your job, then find something else. The server was definitely unfriendly. He acted as anything we needed was an inconvenience to him. The place wasn't busy so I'm not quite sure why he didn't have time to wait on us? The soup was barely there because it was full of cheese & chip toppings. The entree was fine. The service was lacking!“
“We enjoyed our dinner here. We waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated in a Sunday evening. The roasted cod and the two item combo basket (scallops and clams) were excellent! The cod was seasoned wonderfully with just a hint of salt. The squash/zucchini veggies and the red potatoes were a wonderful accompaniment to the cod. Our server, Derek, was clearly into his work. He was enthusiastic and engaging/friendly. We would definitely eat here again.“
“It was my first time there and I was very impressed! Sat in the bar area where we were served by Kyle. He was amazing! Knew the menu, had great suggestions and made delicious drinks. I had wine but my son and his girlfriend had "specialty" drinks and I had to taste...YUMMY! You would have thought we were the only ones in the place, we were not, because Kyle was attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Bang Bang shrimp was seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend visiting Kyle and the JCFH. Oh and it doesn't hurt that the restaurant is so pretty. :)“
“We had another lovely lunch at Irie Diner in Orange Park yesterday. It is the best Caribbean food we have eaten in the Jacksonville area. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing, just like the islands. I had jerk chicken, rice and beans and callaloo. It was delicious! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My husband had jerk pork tenderloin, cabbage, and rice, all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a side of fried sweet plantains, my favorite. Our server, whose name from the receipt was Soul G. was excellent...sweet and attentive, but not over-bearing. I cannot say enough about this restaurant and always wonder why there is not a line out the door. If you haven't eaten there, YOU NEED TO TRY IT! Their menu has good variety. In the past I've had their curry and brown stew. They never disappoint.“
“After a minor automobile problem, I came into the restaurant somewhat harried. When I joined my group at the table, DeShawn was standing there ready with a glass of water, a big smile, and a pleasant attitude, which put me completely at ease and ready for a nice dinner. His service was perfect, and the food was excellent.“
“We love Vito's! It's my daughter's absolute favorite restaurant. Franco makes every visit super special. The food is delicious (the kids love the pizza) and I highly recommend anything off of the seasonal/special menu. If you have a chance to try the pasta funghi (if it's on the menu when you visit), I can't say enough good things about it...so good!“
“So happy to have Saloma’s on Fleming Island. I’ve been enjoying their beef stew since they opened and it’s so good every time. Portions are large. Service is friendly and attentive. We always enjoy dining at Saloma’s or stopping by for a cafe con “
