“I was part of a group of 5. The place was packed with a blend of locals and spring breakers. Even with reservations, it took an hour and a half to get seated. We were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes. I'm not sure we would have stayed knowing we were to wait 90. I had the fried chicken with grits and greens, which was excellent. I saw others order fresh fish and spicy linguini. Everyone liked their food. I can say there is not a menu item I wouldn't try. Bartenders at the small side bar were amazing. Upbeat and quick. I would come hear again. They need to do a better job managing reservations.“

“Best seafood in St. Augustine! Just had to go back and DJ’s didn’t disappoint!! We always try restaurants from Diners, Dine-ins and Dives:Party of 5The Maine Lobster roll was on a garlic butter roll. Super fresh and filled with so much lobster. Gotta get it, it’s amazing! 2 rolls for us, lol.And the Garlic Steamed Middle Necks, were so good especially with garlic bread to soak up the juices. The Fried Shrimp are lightly breaded and a great size. This came with sweet potato fries and maple mayo which was so, so good. Also be sure to try the Garlic Shrimp Roll on a toasted butter bun. Seasoned and cooked to perfection.Oh and the clam chowder is a home run! The kids dug into the chowder too. There is a great kids menu with PB&J, hot dogs, and more.. but the kiddos had fish tacos, which they left nothing behind.Sending a shoutout to Kaleb, Jake, and Davida! Super fast service and a spotless establishment.FYI there’s lots of seating outside & inside upstairs. Can’t wait to go back for the next round!!Kid-friendliness: There is a great kids menu with PB&J and a Hot Dog amongst other options. It’s a great family friendly atmosphere for any age, including the kiddos!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that takes you right into the restaurant. There is plenty of seating with ease for those needing wheelchair accessibility.“

“Looking for the cliche Florida coastal crab boil restaurant. Hurrican Patty's filled the need - as if it came out of a movie. It's off the road, on the marina docking bay = picture perfect. They're open later than other places, which was mainly what we were looking for. Shop owners eat later than the tourists. #factsWe walked around the venue before entering and loved the entire water "bay vibe". The restaurant has a wrap around walking dock / deck with an outside bar, table seating, and live music all on the backside. On the front side of the venue is the entrance, and an outdoor table seating patio. Upon entering, you have to wait to be seated by the hostess. This has a very Joe's Crab Shack meets pirates ambiance without the "restaurant chain" feel. Our service was quick, semi friendly, and to the point. Our server gal took care of us, had a smile, but was not hovering - and that's what we expected. A total cliche server experience. The "Painkiller" drink I ordered was stiff and DARN yummy! The price was right, not over priced. I would have preferred a top shelf rum and no ice. Next time I'll ask. They have the crab boil special on Saturdays.I didn't know about the social when I chose this venue for our food adventure Night. The price was great as we happened to go on a Saturday. I also pre-gamed signed up for their email list on their website and got a coupon for a shrimp appetizer emailed to me. Woop!I've never had anything "oyster" before. (Being from Vegas, it's not something you order when there... I would recommend it.) We ordered the oyster sampler. We also ordered the shrimp and grits for next day breakfast / lunch. Sunday chill day pre-gaming.!The shrimp appetizer was buttery and light. It's a perfect starter for two. I recommend it.The oysters were steamed well, but I wasn't a fan of ALL the flavors on platter. The oyster and lobster was so F-ing good. I'd order just that next time. The crab bucket was on point. YES! I would prefer more seasoning, but I'm not mad at it. This is large enough to share. Great for 2 people if you have an appetizer. The shrimp and grits were darn good.I felt the grits were a little undercooked, but I didn't mind because the next day I heated them up in a pot with some milk and butter and they were bomb AF!!!!!!I can imagine, though, people WOULD complain "the grits are undercooked".I took home the sausage from my crab boil. Sliced them up and cook them the next day - adding them to my grits for a PERFECT no cook Sunday meal. Nom nom.I would highly recommend hHurricane Patty's as a venue to take people to, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening when there is live music outside. The prices were very reasonable.Don't expect five star service. Expect your meal served to you - you might get a smile. I'm okay with that because, it's a Marina restaurant... Up in the cut.The food IS surprisingly good. The atmosphere is awesome! I would imagine dinner at sunset would be very chill and romantic.REASONS TO VISIT:1. Location2. Plenty of Parking3. Ambiance4. Overall Venue5. Reasonable Prices6. Decent Food7. Decent D“

“Our server Lucy was wonderful. Making sure we had including making sure our soup was the right temperature and advising us about what was in our food choices. My ahi salad was fine, but I personally would have preferred a sesame based dressing with seared ahi. My husband loved the Island pork tacos with the coconut rice.“

“We’ve stayed in Vilano Beach before but we never managed to get to Aunt Kate’s. This time around, we managed to dine in on Easter Sunday.Coming at around 7 PM, they were decently busy and there was a bit of a wait but not terribly long. The outdoor patio is very cool and our waitress was super friendly.I got the fresh catch sandwich with fries as my entree. I honestly was not that impressed. The fries were pretty great but I received probably the saddest looking piece of fish I’ve ever seen on a sandwich. Their fresh catch was sheep’s head and while it tasted good, the portion size was too small and it wasn’t very crispy.Overall, this was still a decent experience. I might try something else on the menu next time.“
