“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“So I needed a place to eat/celebrate my birthday and MOST places when you have a big party (we had 18x ppl) wanna give you a set menu or charge you for this and that or just WONT TAKE RESV with this number :( . BUT, we had no issue at all booking here!!! And aren't we super HAPPY we did!!! From walking in and the hostess wishing me a Happy Birthday and she was just a pleasure , to the staff being highly entertaining and engaging, to the FOOD (omgggggg YUMMY)!! We all ordered appetizers, salads, dinners, and desserts and EVERYTHING was PHENOMENAL!! We had zero complaints and for being such a large party that's usually impossible! We will definitely be back!!!
Also, we checked out the speak easy for an after dinner drink and it was beautiful with a great bartender and wonderful live music!!!“

“My friend’s dad recently moved to Pompano, so I’ve been playing tour guide, taking them around to all the local spots. J Marks isn’t the obvious pick, it’s not the place that jumps to mind first. But it was rainy, we wanted indoor seating, and I’d only been twice before, so I figured why not. Best decision of the week.We went full appetizer buffet at the table , ahi tuna (my friend officially declared the best she’s ever had, and she doesn’t hand that out lightly), and mussels in a sauce so good it could go toe-to-toe with any top Italian kitchen, with just the right kick of spice. High praise since her dad is Italian and doesn’t hand out Italian-sauce compliments easily either. I don’t even eat mussels and I was fighting for bread to mop it up and the kitchen had our back, sending out garlic bread with the mussels, then the waitress swooped in with an extra basket of piping hot homemade rolls just for sauce duty. We also ordered the calamari, lightly fried and perfectly crisp, with her dad specifically requesting “as many tentacles as possible”, he said it was the most tentacle action he’s gotten at a restaurant in years. Crab cake was solid too- not the best I’ve ever had, but absolutely worth ordering. And dessert was the “seven layer” carrot cake, which was really six layers by my count, but every one of them delicious. My extremely picky-about-espresso-martinis girlfriend gave hers the ultimate compliment: she ordered three. (Don’t worry, I was driving.)The real MVP moment though: her dad has cochlear implants and serious tinnitus, and the speakers overhead were doing him no favors. We flagged the hostess, the manager Dani, came right over and personally turned down the volume in our whole section, then chased us down on our way out to hand him her card , “next time, call me directly, I’ll take care of everything.”Service was a 10/10. In this day and age, that kind of care is basically a unicorn sighting. Huge shoutout to the kitchen and an even bigger one to J Marks for hiring people who actually give a damn. Already planning our next visit!“

It was my first visit here and Terrell assisted with my burger choice .. They have a very diverse amazing menu-

My pictures say it all! It was delicious! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! Lot’s of bacon and lot’s of onions and cheese!

“I invited 4 ladies for our Supper Club to join me at Seasons 52, which is usually held at one of our homes (we've been meeting for 15 years). With a few ladies out of town, this time we chose to get together at a restaurant, and I chose Seasons 52 because it is consistently a great choice. The food, the atmosphere and the service. Brenna was so helpful in suggesting a sparkling wine and flatbread to start, ready for us just as we were seated. The table was just perfect, very quiet. And the food was delicious. We so enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality for our Supper Club dinner.“

I do wish they had the spinach and mushroom ravioli from before when it was called Lips. Entertainment was even better. The show was full of sass and spice! Everyone was nice and helpful. “I'll be brutally honest about our experience here. Relax, there's a happy ending here. Relax again, not that kind of happy ending lol. Anyway, here we go: We went in today on a Tuesday evening and there was one woman working the entire place. One person lol. Well it must have been her and a cook, that was it. I guess they were short-staffed today, but I'm assuming this wouldn't happen like on a Friday or Saturday. The table we sat at had office chairs for seating. It felt like being at a meeting at a conference room table 😂 Since one person was doing everything, it took a while (completely understandable) to get a high chair for our baby and even longer to get our food. While we were waiting, I thought to myself, "man, I really hope this food slaps" if we're gonna be waiting that long. Fortunately, it DID. My burger was fantastic, well worth the wait. My wife didn't like her food, but maybe she should have ordered something else. The woman that served us literally served every single table. This includes the people who saw she was working all by herself and had the audacity of sitting outside in the heat, making the woman go all the way outside to serve those tables out there. Anyway, she was amazing! She didn't let the short-staffing circumstances ruin her mood or turn her into a crabby crab. She was even kind enough to look for a band-aid when one of our people needed one, despite being super busy. She did everything she could to hold down the fort, and she did it well. If you have an appetite and a little extra time, come here to eat. Good food, fun ambiance, comfy inside, and it'll get the job done.“

“This restaurant is exceptional! we went with our family after our civil ceremony and their service was beyond expectations. they made every effort to accommodate us as we found them very last minute and the weather turned rainy and windy suddenly. we wanted to sit outside, and they reserved the table without hesitation and then afterwards accommodated us inside when the rain started. They were so attentive, courteous, and made sure we were all taken care of. they had live music with an excellent singer who was talented and played with our kids and sang with them. the hostess Sally, was kind and sweet and very attentive!. Michael was a great server as well. ! all of them were great! the food was superb! great tasting with many options and excellent quality. thank you so much for making our night special. “It seems like everytime i go there now the food is getting worse I came a couple days ago I ordered smoke chicken with brisket the smoked chicken was barely smoked. The brisket was good. Today I came here I only ordered brisket. Half of the brisket was un eatable. Plus the flies is making it worse.“

is an intimate restaurant, where they have garden dining in the back, being able to choose to sit at a table and chairs, or a sofa and chairs, with a table to comfortably eat your meal.
The menu isn’t extensive, but what they do have is delicious. A unique feature to The Ave is a charterer’s board where you can visually select from am assortment of meats, cheeses, and fruits for your board, and make it as small or large as you want.
They have a stage outside for live music, which was also an added bonus, and not disruptive to conversation. I highly recommend The Ave for a romantic dinner, or one with friends.“
