“Florie, our server was everything! There is some beautification construction going on, but she has created an outdoor space with twinkling lights, plants and outdoor seating to accommodate all their customers. It was really neat to see a restaurant making something beautiful out of a tough situation. She was so welcoming and the food was awesome! Love the sauce they give with the Greek style fries! 5 stars would recommend.“
“Ronen is the man. Walked in with my brother and he insisted to make us a baguette “his way”. All I have to say is absolutely ridiculous. This shawarma baguette was so good I couldn’t even see straight driving home. Came all the way from Michigan! - “
“The place is a dump. But that's where you get the best food. It's a little bakery that makes these little flatbreads with different toppings on them. It's so amazing. I've been there probably 30 times in the last year that I moved here. And I take everybody I know whenever I have the opportunity. I hope they keep their prices low like it is, because that's definitely another reason we come back over and over again it's reasonable it's fresh and it's healthy and delicious. Maybe the old place adds to the charm.Dietary restrictions: What we like about this place is they don't use any pork Products! So the pepperoni is made out of turkey“
“If you're craving the most delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Plantation, Izgara is your place. The food is fresh and healthy and delivered to your table quickly. The restaurant itself is so quaint and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. My go-to meal is their falafel platter. So good!!!We've been enjoying Izgara for years- not just when dining in, but also when hosting family and friends at our home. Whenever I cater at home from Izgara, I always receive messages and phone calls asking where the food was from because it was so good. The owners are also huge supporters of the community and willing to step up to support a cause dear to their hearts.“
“Wow! I just stopped by Rice Mediterranean Kitchen on 401 Las Olas Blvd. with my friends and wow, the food is absolutely tasty and very affordable and they give a very good portion for the price.World class customer service. The place is very clean. Yunior served us, he’s very nice and attentive; they’re all very nice. I highly recommend this place where you can eat with peace of mind. Go check it out! Do you want me disappointed. I will be back again.“
“Sensational ! A must go place ! Loved the food and excellent service! Delicious ! Great variety ! The watm cheese pistachio dessert is phenomenal! Warms the heart. On Saturdays they have belly dancing for entertainment. Experience the middle east! Thru food! Superb! AAA!Vegetarian options: Tabule“
“Absolutely the best experience I've had in a long time. Every item was perfect. The Caesar salad was beautiful and delicious. The calamari was fried to perfection. The chicken lasagna was great. And the Tiramisu...there are no words to describe how amazing their homemade dessert was. It was obvious everything is made from scratch. The staff was friendly, venue beautiful and the music sealed the deal. The prices can't be beat either!“
“I LOVE turkish food so I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing, it really made our dinner special, and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to the chef as well! My boyfriend and I enjoyed your delicious meals, so 5 STARS from me. Thank you sooo much!“
“Another great score: my new neighborhood includes a an authentic, family-owned Greek spot, The Gyro Joint, with amazing food & friendly service not even 2 minutes away! This is already the 2nd time this week my sister & I have gotten their food. My only gripe so far is that they're not open later than 9pm! Already confirmed their gyros are the bomb so tried wings tonight and they did not disappoint! Crispy, meaty, & served with a tasty housemade dipping sauce. Deeeeelish! Can't wait to try more!“
“Amazing place . Fast service . Clean . Good and many salad choices to add to ur pita shawarma / falafel / steak wrap . The food is sooo good. I got the rib eye steak in a pita . Pretty good pricing and well worth getting food here . It tastes israeli and fresh.“
“Love the service! Love the food!! Love the music! I’ll be back with the rest of my family soon! The restaurant is clean, comfortable and easy to find. Food is delicious and affordable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that can appreciate Mediterranean food.“
“First time ordering from this place, was a bit disappointed with the conch fritters, the flavor was there, however I feel they were extremely overcooked. Philly cheese steaks were amazing and so were the chicken tenders. Will certainly eat from here again and try some other menu items.“
“These guys are on point. Always consistently great. No surprises. I’m go here at least once or twice a week. Excellent simple clean Greek food. Prices are also extremely affordable. High quality ingredients. Most everything made on premises. Love this place!“
“I got a Turkish coffee, Mujadara, and Fatoush salad. All delicious! Really hit the spot especially since it’s hard to find this type of food in south Florida. I’m Iranian and grew up with my grandmother making Turkish coffee and kabobs so my standards are pretty high for middle eastern cuisine. This place exceeded my expectations, I’ll definitely be coming back!“
“The sunrise mix mini plate was a lot of food and great quality. I'd definitely get it again. My friend that got the kabab spicy said it wasn't spicy, and said it lacked some flavor and wasn't worth the price. Because of her order I have to knock off a star. Was very satisfied with mine. The tahini was great on the hummus, and the eggplant was fire. The young chicken was very tender, as was the shawarma. Take a chance on this place!“
“great food, last portions, really flavourful. food is fresh. the staff is really friendly and listen to your request. Prices are good for the type of food, it may look like a fast food but the food is definitely not cheap quality. Really delicious my son devour the chicken kabob platter.“
“The food was incredible. Me and my family went together and we loved it!I loved the customer service, always accompanied by a smile and the atmosphere with the music was splendid. The food was even more delicious, I haven't had good food like this in more than a year and I can say that this is the best in the area. The desserts were awesome, I can't wait to come again.“
“A hidden gem. Upon entering the cozy, warmly lit space of Shishka , the aroma of grilled meats and spices immediately tantalized my senses. The decor transported me to the heart of Beirut with its low key parisian vibe, mosaic tiles and traditional music playing softly in the background. For starters, the hummus was velvety smooth, topped with a generous drizzle of high-quality olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, served alongside warm, pillowy pita bread. The tabbouleh was a refreshing mix of finely chopped parsley, mint, tomatoes, and bulgur, dressed in a zesty lemon vinaigrette that awakened the palate. The mulukhia brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of my mom's home cooking. The mixed grill platter was a carnivore's delight, featuring succulent pieces of marinated chicken, kibbeh and kebabs. Each bite was perfectly charred on the outside while remaining tender and juicy within. The accompanying garlic sauce was a revelation, adding a pungent kick that complemented the smoky flavors of the meat.Vegetarians would not feel left out, as the falafel was expertly crafted—crispy on the outside, yet soft and flavorful on the inside, with hints of cumin and coriander. It was served with a side of tahini sauce that provided a creamy, nutty balance to the dish.To end the meal, the milk pudding was a sweet masterpiece, with layers of nuts, and raisins and just the right amount of orange blossom water and honey syrup that sweetened without overwhelming.Service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly, with Henry eager to share his knowledge of the dishes and ensure a pleasant dining experience.Shishka offered me and my family an authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine,it was for my daughter's birthday dinner, with each dish showcasing the fresh ingredients and rich flavors that make this culinary tradition so beloved. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the delights of Middle Eastern food.“
“If you’re Arab you for sure have heard of Al Natour if you’re in south FL and if you’re not but like Middle Eastern food then someone has probably told you about this place. I will start with what I recommend from here: family mixed platter, it feeds a few people and definitely get it with the spicy rice (which isn’t actually spicy anymore but it tastes so good). The kibbehs are delicious. Their hummus is also good (if you’re vegan this a good option for you). I think their shawarma is pretty good and I love their chicken kefta kabeb (it tastes so good and so much more tender than their regular kefta). The falafel is ok (another vegan option). It’s a good place for families or big gatherings. During Ramadan they offer iftar buffets which I recommend but I recommend during this time to reserve as they easily get packed. If you need to cater this is a great place to do it, we usually either cater a few family platters with appetizers or order mensaf (this is sometimes a hit or miss). Parking sometimes can be difficult right in front of the restaurant but if you’re willing to take a few extra steps you’ll find more parking a little further away in the parking lot. The warbat(kulej) and knafe (chinefa) are good, I recommend ordering a tray to be freshly made if you’re having a gathering. Service is typically good. I do think it’s time they remodel inside or make it a little nicer but it’s ok. Food is HALAL which is always a plus. Overall I’d recommend this place. Prices are also reasonable compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants.Vegetarian options: Hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, lentil soupParking: Free parking. The lot is big, if you don’t find right in front of the restaurant if you drive in a little more you’ll find additional parking.“
“Excellent Middle Eastern food! We picked up a few meals while in the area, as we live a little out of the way, and both times they were flavourful, fresh, and well prepared. I'll have to take some photos the next time we grab food there as the presentation is always so yummy.“
“Went on a busy sunday night, there was a great show, and althought the ambience was quite loud, the server took my order clearly and served me great. I ordered the Branzino and it was phenomenal, then I had a Cheesecake which was great too. Will come back “
“Our breakfast was a wonderful experience..ate outside and enjoyed our French toast and omelette. The experience was enhanced by our server who was a delight and set the tone for the day ahead. We are abit vague on her name (Candice??)...we are on a Wed morningNo doubt we will return“
“This place is a hidden treasure. I am very picky and went here with two foodies one friend lived in Iran for years. My other friend from New Jersey. We got the luncheon special Chicken Kabob,Beef Kabob, rice etc. The vegetables were so fresh and delicious. The Kabobs were so tender I didn't even use my knife. My friends gave this charming restaurant a big 5 star thumb up. Can't wait to go back!!“
“It's been a long time since I've eaten here and it still the best place for shawarma or falafel. I was get the wrap, because you get the ingredients distributed evenly. Sorry for not taking a picture before I ate, but I add a shot before I was done. Friendly staff, clean place.“
“Everything was as expected, except I didn't pay attention prices and was slightly sticker shocked for 2 people nearly $270 with tip. Only 1 glass of wine, one shared entree, and a side. However, I don't know any other good places in Ft Lauderdale which can be synonymous with trash. Get away from Las Olas and come here. You won't regret it. Nothing much down there anyway. As of time of writing, parking $24 after a $6 discount from validation. Maybe worth it to street park and walk if it's nice out. 8oz wine pour $26 also so for what it's worth, might be better to bring a bottle and do the corkage or skip it and focus on the food. Barnzini and potato side were both phenomenal. One criticism is that once they pick out all of the bones, it's almost cold. Warm still, but I guess that was a factor to mention a $100+ fish. Watch out for schemes. The wine by the glass said $16 but the 8oz pour was $26. Just pay attention unlike me. I wouldn't recommend getting 2 desserts. One was enough and neither were phenomenal. Perfectly prepared, but not what I'd come back for alone.Tbh I was impressed, but you can do as well at authentic in thr SoFla area. Overall 4 Seasons Restaurants are usually able to be relied on for quality, so if you just don't want to mess around because you have a night or so, you can't lose here.“
