“Plant queen is a great addition to the Fort Lauderdale dining scene. It offers imaginative and delicious plant-based food in creative recipes that are in some cases mind blowing. What appears to be Ahuna Sushi is in fact compressed watermelon. The broccoli, the truffle, rice, and the Tuna, we're all standouts, but everything was good. The servers are helpful and informative, and the decor is fun and attractive.“
“Celebrated a birthday dinner with them last night. The food & service couldn't have been better. The "Out of Control" raw sushi roll was out of this world. I'm excited to return soon, especially for lunch since our spa is so close. They actually helped solve a problem for me too without knowing it. My clients often find out I'm a former mega yacht chef and quiz me for dining options. I cringe because I'm very reluctant to give master chef level recommendations with such a plethora of ever changing restaurants, price points and service levels. My taste always leans to super fresh, fun, spicy ethnic-ish foods with bold flavors that you probably don't have to mortgage your house to afford. I'll worry no more as you'd be hard pressed not to find something you like on their abundant menu... even if sushi isn't your thing. Don't hesitate.“
“I had been wanting to try this place for some time now. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious! We started with a dozen oysters topped with citris yuzu, chili garlic oil, and fried shallots. They were really good! We also had some Pork Belly Adobo Bao Buns, which was also very good! My daughter had a Taro Milk tea with boba, and she loved it. We got an assortment of sushi, and they were all amazing. We also tried the Pancit, its Filipino style glass noodles, and we got it with shrimp. Also very tasty. I dont think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. My only knock is I told them it was my daughters birthday, and she acknowledged it but never did anything for her. It's not a big deal, but it would have been nice. I look forward to coming back and trying more things.“
“We had the pleasure of dining at Tokyo Sushi, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the authentic sushi crafted by a master, a culinary journey that can only be savored in this establishment. Each piece was a testament to the finest traditions of sushi-making, using the freshest ingredients and showcasing the artistry of the sushi chef. But it wasn’t just the sushi and sashimi that impressed; the desserts and soups were equally gastronomic delights. For those seeking a genuine culinary adventure, Tokyo Sushi is a must-visit destination where you can savor all their bestselling creations. It’s an absolute must-visit for any food enthusiast, a true gastronomic masterpiece!“
“We loved the food so much, every dish we ordered was very delicious. The service was great our waiter was so nice, professional and friendly . His name is Gian B. I highly recommended this place. My family and I were very lucky in our last day in Florida .“
“An absolute gem if you’re looking for delicious food with ocean view and great service. Our group started with the green papaya salad (excellent!), gyoza, beef jerky, and had a few of the entrees with tofu (including the best drunken noodles yet). Finished it up with mango sticky rice. A great experience all around and will definitely be back. Service was warm, friendly, and very attentive, we felt as if we were having dinner at our friends’ home, loved it!*****❤️“
“We had such a wonderful experience, our server, George took the experience over the top, when he chose our dining experience with a variety of foods that he chose, I must say it was absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had in forever and experiences definitely be back“
“I've driven past this local for years, not knowing what treasure laid within. They have one of the largest selections of any Japanese restaurant I've visited in the States. A family owned vibe that seems to be getting rarer and rarer these days.“
“I don’t even know where to start, the ambience the service and the food are excellent. I was in the area and wanted a place to eat, and I found a gem. We tried different dishes from sushi to Thai and every single one was delicious. I am from South Miami and will definitely come back.“
“You know the feeling when you enter a family-owned business and you're welcomed with a big smile by the owner? That's part of what makes this place a hidden gem. Unbeatable price and great taste makes this one of my favourite places to “
“Best high quality Thai food in Fort Lauderdale. Don't waste your time or hard earned money on other Thai places ... this is the best . My go to is bok choy, beef drunken noodle and chicken wings . Yum yum ... getting hungry as I write this . Enjoy!“
“Really enjoyed dinner here! Wonderful quality salmon belly sashimi and the spicy salmon roll was just right. The server was polite and was accommodating to my requests to the spicy salmon roll. My SO had the rock ‘n roll. It was just the right amount of crispy and savory!I would make reservations on busier nights just to be safe. The atmosphere is casual, but welcoming.“
“Absolutely delicious! Had one of my favorite dishes. Ramen pad Thai was one of the best pad Thais I ever had. The pink floyd roll is the best. This is definitely a new favorite and I'm very excited to see a restaurant that can still surprise you with a taste that's delicious but unexpected. I didn't take any photos of the other dish because as soon as a roll reached my taste buds it was game on. Staff was very friendly. You feel at home and you can tell everyone is in good spirits. Can't wait to come back!“
“I could not say enough good things about this restaurant. You NEED to eat here if you are in Fort Lauderdale. The food is delicious (get the mahi mahi sandwich, it’s the best). Our server Regina was awesome! Great atmosphere! 10/10 recommend!“
“Super friendly service. We ordered all Thai food which was ok- Tom Kha hai soup was a bit too sour, pad Thai was tasty but was different to what we get in Thailand (noodles seem all chopped), red curry was delicious but again the ingredients used are not very authentic Thai. All in one ok if you want a quick cheap Thai food, but not for if you want great food and amazing atmosphere“
“Let me tell you, this sushi joint in Miami Las Olas serves up some of the most mind-blowing sashimi I've ever tasted. The flavors were out of this world, and every bite was a delightful explosion of freshness and satisfaction. If you're a sushi lover like me, do yourself a favor and experience the flavor-packed paradise of this place—you won't be disappointed!“
“The service was great, very attentive. The food was priced fairly, they had enough items on the menu that nobody could be disappointed. The had Pad Thai, Green Curry with Chicken, assorted a la cart sushi and sashimi items, panko shrimp, chicken or vegetables, they had plates for two, plates for four...whichever way you could want. We took advantage of the early bird food and drink specials too.Good meal reasonably priced.“
“My go-to lunch spot. Consistently good food at affordable prices; fast and friendly service; and although it gets busy at lunch time, it is still cozy, and the wait is never long. All the sushi, noodles, soups, appetizers, and bento boxes we've tried are delicious. I highly recommend!Parking: In a strip mall with lots of free parking.“
“Sasaya Japanese Market in Fort Lauderdale has been a staple in our dining and shopping routine for years. For anyone with a penchant for Japanese cuisine, this market comes highly recommended. The variety and authenticity of the offerings make it a true gem for enthusiasts and newcomers to Japanese food alike. One of the standout features of Sasaya is their sushi. Not only is it delicious, but it's also offered at a reasonable price, making it accessible for regular indulgence. It’s a convenient option for those days when you’re craving quality sushi without the upscale restaurant price tag.The service at Sasaya Japanese Market further enhances the experience. The woman who often assists customers is notably friendly, adding a warm and welcoming atmosphere to every visit. It’s service like this that transforms routine shopping into a pleasant outing.Beyond the prepared food, Sasaya boasts an impressive selection of Japanese ingredients, making it easy for anyone looking to cook Japanese dishes at home. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Phat Boy Sushi is an absolute gem, and I can't stop raving about my incredible experience there! Gabriella's exceptional customer service truly made our visit unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. Now let's talk about the food – the Coco Ramen was out of this world! Generous portions and bursting with flavor, it left us craving more. The spicy tuna roll was a revelation – unlike other places where it's chopped, here it's a perfect bite-sized chunk of fresh, truly spicy tuna. The dragon and red dragon rolls were equally impressive, each bite a symphony of taste sensations. Not only is the food amazing, but the dining room is also beautifully decorated, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. And let's not forget about happy hour – getting old fashioners for half off was the cherry on top of an already perfect experience.Phat Boy Sushi has officially become my go-to spot for delicious food, top-notch service, and an all-around fantastic dining experience. Can't wait to come back for more! ?? #PhatBoySushi #FiveStarExperience #GabriellasExceptionalService #CocoRamen #SpicyTunaRoll #HappyHourFun“
“The ONLY problem, that I could possibly have, is that I informed the restaurant of my daughters birthday when I made my reservation, BUT then had to remind my waiter of it, in front of her no less.... Other than that, EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING was FABULOUS!!!“
“Omg they have THE best mussels dynamite!! Trust me on this they are amazing! It’s a dish you cannot get many places. Just ask them to chop the mussels first....you’re welcome!!! Wish I would have taken a photo before I practically destroyed it!! I’ve been here about 5 times now and have never been disappointed!!“
“Okay, prepare yourselves for a fresh, tasty, and amazing presentation of sushi. This is my second time at this restaurant, and it surely never disappoints. The attention is cordial and friendly, from the busboys to the waiters, all are extra caring. Is your girlfriend mad at you? She'll be yours again after you take her to this place. You'll be a legend with this amazing sushi restaurant in your Rolodex.“
“I love coming to Thai Moon By The Sea for small intimate gatherings with family especially for Special Occasions, the menu is phenomenal and the food is ALWAYS cooked to perfection, hats off to the Chef! Friendly & attentive staff and warm & cozy atmosphere too! Not to be missed, a hidden GEM! Btw, our fave dishes are: Grouper By The Sea, Crazy Salmon Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll! ????????⚘️?????“
“I don't know why this place isn't more popular?! Lunch special is 12.95 for a bowl and miso soup. Also the toppings are unlimited. Such an affordable and yummy poke spot. Definitely the best prices and setup I've seen in the area. Loooove the unlimited toppings! Super quick service too“
“Listed as one of The 10 BEST Late Night Restaurants, Sushi Song was at the top of the list! The list surpassed 10, but that was not the point. If you saw the list, you would probably check out Sushi Song, if you were a sushi fan. Based on YELP reviews, plus having an unexpected early night off from work, we headed to our favorite area in Fort Lauderdale, which was Himmarshee Street. It was Friday night, and at midnight, there was a fraction of the denizens. Came to find out there was a game that night. That meant the time between order and pickup should be shortened. Sushi Song truly was a hole-in-the-wall. The outside does not prepare you for the small space inside. But the space works! You can sit at the bar, plus there were a group of tables as soon as you enter, and more across from the bar. This is a good example of less being more. After all, this is a sushi restaurant, not a Japanese steakhouse or swanky Japanese restaurant on South Beach. You know we have to talk about service. Service was excellent! Our server greeted us with a smile upon entry! We placed our order, but one dish was an item only the Oakland Park Blvd location made, which was Salmon Belly. No problem, we selected something else that piqued our interest. Regarding the food, the best YELP reviews were correct. The freshness was undeniable! The quality of the salad demonstrated the restaurant does not settle.Sushi Song sets itself apart from all the other restaurants on Himmarshee Street as the only Asian restaurant there. #00 SHATO aka #SHATO fka 00# Saloon tried it's hand at it, hired an IRON CHEF, and still failed. It seems Sushi Song has staying power, and will be around for some time. So stop by and give them a try!“
“Really fresh food in such a funky & cool food hall! Was only in Ft Lauderdale for a night and was glad to find this spot open pretty late, as I was traveling to go on a cruise. I got a poke bowl in the normal serving size to-go, but would definitely have eaten there too. It was such a vibey spot, with great music! Would highly recommend to go back and try another bowl, or to even go to another place in this food hall.“
“Wow! This was such a pleasant and convenient experience for me today. I was finishing up a nice Sunday of shopping across the street at Marshall's and Walmart, and I was so hungry and happened to spot Okinawa Teriyaki & Sushi Express, I was intrigued. I popped in and was delighted to see a kind chef and cashier greet me and ready to take my order. They were all so kind, friendly and more than welcoming while I was asking questions and placing my order. The food came quickly, it was so fresh, and tasted delightful. I will say this style of Asian cuisine is more heavy than I would prefer to have every day, however it hit the spot and satisfied me entirely. The ambiance was nice, the building was clean and had lots of light coming through the windows. Overall it was a great time. Thanks Okinawa!“
“This place was really good. It wasn't very busy on a Tuesday around 2:30pm. I was just in time to catch the lunch special. The tofu curry I had was AMAZING. I'm not much of a sushi eater either, but what I had was just as amazing as the curry. The service was good, too. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.“
“Nice location with easy access just off the I-95. Small plaza but adequate parking. Pleasant staff and clean restaurant. Simple but cute atmosphere with a nice backdrop for photos.Tried their monkey banana roll which was surprisingly good with unusual ingredient of plantain.Lychee boba tea was great flavor. My only issue was the Tapioca pearls were too small so the clumped together. I prefer the larger boba. Better texture and moore chewy.“
“I loved everything about this restaurant when I saw it on tik tok. After looking at the happy hour menu and prices, my friend and I decided to have lunch here. Parking was a little difficult to find, but eventually, I found the paid parking lot. After being sat, I ordered two rolls from the happy hour menu. The waiter was very helpful with his recommendations, and both my rolls were delicious. My friend stated the chicken hibachi was very flavorful, and the sauces added an extra pop. Overall, I can't wait to return again when in the area.“
“Not sure if this is a national brand or just in the Fort Lauderdale area but it's the best Supermarket I've ever visited. There is absolutely everything you could want, good quality and price. We visited for snacks not really knowing what we wanted, a busy day, and came out with fresh cooked curry complete with sides. Cakes, beers etc are all available too... I intend to visit again before I leave on Thu“
“Whoever the Sushi Nazi is in this place (the tall Spanish-speaking idiot who speaks to the waitresses as if they're dirt) should really take a chill. it's bad for business and honestly, unnecessary. My waitress was great. Both attended perfectly. Even went to my car and he was out back raging. Someone step in and deal with this clown. Seriously.“
“Went here because the other place we were going to go was too busy. They have tables for both hibachi and regular menu items. We sat at the hibachi and really enjoyed the chef that cooked for us. She was entertaining, personable, and did a really nice job preparing our food. We had filet and shrimp, chicken and shrimp, and shrimp dinners. All of them tasted really good and the chef did not drown the food with soy sauce as some other hibachi places do. It was nice to go into a restaurant where you could actually hear yourself talk because music wasn't so loud like other places in Fort Lauderdale. One note of caution is they charged us a gratuity for five people, not sure if that is customary and not a big deal as I would have tipped anyhow but wasn't told there was a gratuity on the bill.“
“The food is great quality if your looking for quality come to sushi addicts I got the poke bowl with cooked fish service was great my server Jordel helped me pick out what me and my friends wanted very kind and friendly, he knew what he was doing.“

“First time being here and it did not disappoint. Such a cool environment and the staff were awesome. The food and drinks were on point! We did the bougie omakase experience and is was amazing! Each bite was unique and full of flavor. I would definitely go back again!!“
