First time visiting Sugar and Spice Soul Food Restaurant on Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce Florida and the Oxtail was savory and tender and the collard greens spoke for themselves and the candy yams were spot on and the yellow rice were cooked to perfection everything was served hot and seasoned perfectly and to top it off a coconut cut fresh to set my mouth to ? Always on the lookout for amazing soul food and Sugar and Spice did not disappoint!The restaurant was very clean and we were treated warmly by the staff, especially our server, Summer, who was sweet, efficient, and wonderful.There are signs on the tables letting you know that the food is scratch-made and may take 15-20 minutes. A church member told us about this gem of a place. It was worth the long ride to get there. The oxtails were SO flavorful with a nice size portion. Bread pudding was off the chart. They forgot to put in the collard greens but, like Arnold in the movie, "I'LL BE BACK!!" FANTASTIC STAFF!!
