“Sohao is the best restaurant in Gainesville! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and the food is on another level. My favorite dishes are any of the baos and any of the bentos. They’re is plenty of variety in the menu and the food is super high quality. The ambience is really great too with nice music and lots of murals and statues along the wall. I enjoy also picking up food for to go and the service is great! Highly recommend, it’s a must try for anyone in Gainesville!“
“Been here twice now, and both times the food was absolutely delicious, the service top notch, and the outdoor seating wonderful. They have a great selection of interesting dishes and every one we've tried has been great. Highly recommended!“
“My wife and I have been to this place twice. We love this restaurant's food. Employees are very diligent, happy, and friendly. The first time we went there, we ordered, spicy octopus dumplings, k-style popcorn chicken, bulgogi, and K-style corn dogs.I cannot describe how beautiful, well-served, and tasty it was all. It was amazing. This is why we returned. The second time, we ordered KFC K- Style fried chicken. Amazing!Spicy, tender, juicy, hot served. Right now, this is our favorite place to eat outside of our kitchen.“
“Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! The food is delicious and authentic, large portions. Great food takes time to cook, this is not fast food. The quality of the food is worth it. You can dine inside around all the beautiful decor or you can dine outside and enjoy the water view. The staff at this restaurant are amazing, they work hard and go out of their way to meet and exceed expectations.“
“We stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. We started with an appetizer(bao bun sandwiches) which was quite tasty. Our main dishes were sizable, tasty and worth it! I can tell you we will be back and we are definitely trying the Phó(it looked delicious) on our next visit.“
“This might be one of the best restaurants in the world. You can order fried pork dumplings and a bagel breakfast sandwich at the same time. These are the best dumplings I have ever had and the eggel bagel sandwich is amazing. The everything bagel itself has such great flavor.“
“Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in the entire city of Gainesville! Their pho is out of this world and their stir fry’s are excellent as well. I ordered online for pickup tonight and it was arguably the best pho I’ve had.I’ve been battling a cold for a few days now but their pho I picked up tonight made me feel so much better. If you’re in the midtown area, give this place a try!“
“This restaurant has become one of my favorites in Gainesville. I love alternating between the pad thai and the drunken noodles, both options are just delectable. As someone who drinks a lot of water, I love that they give you such a huge glass! The service does their job well and is friendly and professional. Prices aren't too steep and I've never had a long wait. I recommend this spot to anyone and I look forward to returning.“
“I would have given 5 stars but lately they've been really inconsistent. Maybe it's only when you order delivery but they wont put all the ingredients that are supposed to be in a roll. For example, the Three Amigos roll is really good and is supposed to come with jalapeño (It's REALLY GOOD when they put it) but they never put that ingredient in it anymore... I wish they would. Please put jalapeño in it! This was the differentiating ingredient so when the restaurant doesn't put it in then what's the point?“
“I like soup noodles, so this is a place I must try. The bowls came with a plastic stand for insulation and protection from getting scalded by the hot clay bowl. I tell you, the soup was super super hot ? . The signature soup Jintang was very spicy even though we ordered mild. The tomato soup was very tasty and there was lots of fish meat. On the whole, I like this place and the food and we will certainly come again.“
