“My sister and I were looking for BBQ dinner. The place we were looking for turned out to be a food truck, which is fine but we wanted a sit down place. We passed Donna's BBQ on the way, so decided to give it a try even though it had less than 4 stars reviews. The inside dining is not open, but they have outside tables. We ordered at the window. They did a good takeout business while we were there. We got pulled pork and asked for extra sauce, mac n cheese, coleslaw. Coleslaw was a little dry for my taste, but mac n cheese and pulled pork were really good. I would get take out from there next time and skip the coleslaw. The outside tables were very noisy next to busy road, but better than eating in car.“

“Met some friends for Sunday brunch. Hostess was friendly, seated us right away. We noticed the chairs were a little wobbly (seniors notice this) table was comfortable. Waiter came over fairly quickly was friendly, answered our questions with prompting from the kitchen. Food did not all come out together for a table of 4. We had two of the same dishes and they were noticeably different amounts of food? That is an absence of expeditor in the kitchen. All in all it was a pleasant experience, but we won't rush back.“

“Been coming here since it was called the Lakes and Hills the name has changed but the experience has not I’m old and used to diners so this is a perfect place for me Today scootered up for a traditional breakfast eggs over easy link sausage hash brown patties and toast 1 slice with jelly and one for sopping up the leftover yolk nice portions My server acted like she owned the place and I love barstools!Christmas came early this morning!“

“Since moving to the area 6 years ago Oakwood Smokehouse is our go to restaurant for smoked ribs and chicken. The staff is great, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and the food is always good. In 6 years we’ve never a bad meal. Now what’s really important to us is that the food is consistent in 6 years the food quality has not changed that’s why we love eating here whether dining in or takeout the food is great thank you Oakwood Smokehouse.“

“Nice, clean restaurant that was spacious. I could not believe that there wasn't a table put in any available space. I enjoyed the food for what it was, comfort food. Overall I would come back if the circumstances were right as it wouldn't be something that I would make a special trip for.Try the pancakes, but ask for a second shot glass worth of syrup!“

“Great meal and service. We were starving and completely forgot to take photos of our food. The filet mignon is always good. Love the fried green tomatoes and scallion biscuit apps. I had the halibut filet on special today and it was deliciously flavored and flaky, served on top of creamy, yummy cheese grits. Everything was wonderful.“

“Took a day trip out to this area stopped by and grabbed lunch . Absolutely amazing good the burger was top notch, fish sandwich was also very good! Atmosphere is nice great spot to eat outside. Our waitress was amazing 10/10 . Definitely stop if you are in the area ! We will definitely make the hour and 30 min trip again.Also get the chips !!“

“My wife and I spent the day at the Lake Minneola Inn. The hospitality was delightful and Todd [the GM] was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. It was a friendly and happy place at the Tiki Bar. Great place to grab a drink and socialize.“

“Have to say that not only are their burgers and fries amazing they provide excellent service!!! We went last night to the area to explore downtown Clermont and we decided to eat there, even though it was 5mins to closing Josh and Kadence fired back up everything and made us our meals. Not only does this place offer some good old fashioned burgers but amazing old fashioned hospitality which is very rare now in days!!! If you’re reading this review give them a try they won’t disappoint!!!“

“Okay, truth be known, rather than play golf I sat in the bar area and waited while my friends played. I had one of the best bloody Mary's ever! Their sandwiches were excellent and the lovely woman tending bar was a hoot - great personality and excellent mixing skills. When everyone was finished golf, we stayed for a late lunch. The 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, our drinks and the friendly staff! The next time I am in the area, I will definitely stop in!“

“I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner! Ive passed by it hundreds of times in my life.The coffee was strong and hot. The food was hot and really felt homemade. The food doesn’t reinvent the wheel but it doesn’t have to. They’re good at what they do.Clean tables. Friendly staff. Really felt like an old fashioned dinner, where everyone knows everyone else. “I've never stopped mid meal to leave a review, I had the pork belly, "don't tell" meal from Macd out and the Mona Lisa pizza from their other restaurant. Both were a absolutely GD amazing, the Mac and cheese was PERFECT. Absolutely stellar, customer service was friendly, and I'll definitely be coming back when I'm on this side of town. I'd drive 45 minutes from the east side of Orlando just to have this again. 10/10 overall experience. Great folks!!!“
