“5 Stars all the way around. This is a fantastic location for a great lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming, relaxing, comfortable...I could go on. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended it to us.Our server explained that everything is made from fresh from scratch and that the chef has been with them for over 20 years.I started with a nice craft beer and a bowl of the Irish Whiskey Onion soup. The soup was very good although I used my knife to cut through some of the cheese and fried onions. My bride ordered a sangria and a mushroom burger. The savory chicken sandwich with fries was ordered by two of us and the Philly sandwich with fries was ordered as well. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we had no room for dessert. While our meal for two cost over $80, it is a bit on the pricey side if you decide to have 2 beers, a sangria, soup and 2 sandwiches. But it was worth it!This is a great place to dine. We dined on the main floor but you should check out the bar and lounge upstairs as well. Or outside. Just loved The Goblin!“
“A great place to eat outside in Mount Dora, Fl. If you like deviled eggs you will ABSOLUTELY love the Devilish Eggs as an appetizer. The goat cheese they put on the Mt. Dora Burger is amazing!! The salad dressing is homemade and is wonderful. Haven't had anything bad there - it's a great restaurant!!“
“First visit to the new location. Staff was very friendly and professional. They appear to have worked out the kinks of opening a new establishment. Food was what I called upscale takeout. You order at the counter and then take a number to your seat.Food came quickly and fresh and hot. The custard expresso toffee was delicious.I would definitely recommend this location to all.“
“I work nights, so when I get off work at 7:00am, I want dinner. At this cafe, I can get lunch or dinner even during breakfast hours. I usually get the open faced roast beef for breakfast. You can also get a cheeseburger or anything else on the menu, regardless of the time of day. They are best known for their breakfasts. My church parishioners all love the breakfasts.Great food and staff. It’s a small town cafe, great food, like mom used to make. Busy on Sunday’s after church.I’ve also ordered their food to go. The food portion sizes are large.“
“The food was great, my husband loved the prime rib. The waitresswas very friendly to regulars but barely made eye conatact with us, all business. She offered my husband au jus with his meal but he never received it. The host was so so awesome!“
“When it comes to the food, if you've been to one Waffle House you've been to them all. What makes the major difference for me is the staff. The staff at the location is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and great with my kids. You really feel welcome no matter the time of day. This is a great Waffle House.“
“This is the absolute best thing smoking, literally ?I'm trying to figure out what I love the most about this place. Is it the food or Ms. Tennessee AKA Amanda? She is the the reason I refused to leave town until eating here. When we 1st walked in we had just eaten lunch elsewhere and simply window shopping but after chatting with Amanda and the samples she gave us, my husband started working on extending our BNB reservation for an extra day. He knew I wasn't going no where without coming back here 1st and its a decision neither one of us regret making. 5* for everything. THE VIVE; ENERGY; CUSTOMER SERVICE; FOOD; AND REAL DEAL SWEET TEA“
“The service was top notch. The staff was kind and professional. So many items on the menu sound amazing. We had The Queen Brie and The Mondial - we both loved the Queen Brie just because we liked the flavor profile better but both were delicious. Would def come “
“My husband & I enjoyed dinner last night at Beef’s in Mt Dora. Our waiter was Kaden, he’s such a hard working young man! Not only was his service on point, his attitude was awesome making our dining experience outstanding! Highly recommended- not only the food but next time you go, ask for Kaden! Way to go Management, you have a rock solid team!“
“Rabbit for Easter!? And those hot cross buns, woo hoo hoo doot, doot, dooo! lol. I give them something like a five for nice elevated dining with delicious fancy foods and impressive, exemplary hospitality on a level you don't see often enough anymore, in a beautifully curated arty modern space. I don't mind throwing good money down on food and an experience worthy of it and 1921 delivered, mostly. Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.“
