“Took a friend here for a birthday dinner. We had the chef's tasting experience and accompanying wine pairing with Foie Gras added. It was a lovely, decadent meal in an intimate, candle-lit setting - a truly divine way to celebrate my friend for his birthday. The service was excellent and the food was all remarkable. The courses were filling and uniqueThey created such a memorable experience for us. Thank you to the "Rue Crew!"“
“First time at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar. Food was great. Jean was amazing. She took care of us. Her professional was beyond top notch. She was a lot of fun. Kept us smiling. Jean made sure we were comfortable. The drinks were so good. Thanks Jean for the pina colado cake. Beyond yummy. Oh and this martini!“
“Great games and great atmosphere with many great drinks on tap. They've got darts, pool, foosball, air hockey, electronic beer pong and more. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone. Don't forget to show the bar staff some love!“
“My family and I have not had a bad dish yet. Great place and it’s always busy.Dietary restrictions: We have a food allergy in our family and they were able to create the dishes without the food allergy.Kid-friendliness: If your children aren’t picky, there are many great options for them. Bao buns are a favorite.“
“This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Their food is awesome, very flavorable. Add that to the off the charts service, I refuse to go anywhere else for Mexican cuisine. I eat there at least 2 times a week. My drink is never empty. There is always bubbling laughter and great music. It is always meticulously clean. With mouth watering aromas to tantalize your appetite. You have got to try it.“
“There was s mixup with the wait staff but once our waiter got started, the service was awesome. The food was delicious and we all really enjoyed it. The prices seemed better since the name change and it looks like they have hired a complete new staff. Will be back!“
“Our 1 year old golden had his first daycare visit last week and absolutely loved it! Drop off and pick up was a breeze. We received photos halfway through the day of our boy enjoying his time. We also received a little goodie bag since it was his first visit. We will certainly be using daycare regularly!“
“As a newbie to the fighting game community, I felt so welcomed by the staff and regulars at tonight’s Tekken 8 tournament. The ramen was excellent, and the chef made accommodations for my wife to eat a gluten free meal. I really have nothing but good things to say, and can’t wait to show back up for another match!“
“Great food, great beer, and great environment. Talked to the owner who made some recommendations that lived up to the hype. Also, he's a fellow Orioles fan, which I appreciate. Laid back vibe. Order food from the counter and beer from the bar. Got the BBQ brisket sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce on the side. Delicious. Plenty of tables and space. They have TV's if you want to catch a game. I'm from out of town, but if I was a local, this would be my go to spot.“
“Ruby Beach Brewing is a great local brewery in Jacksonville, Florida. It has a cool, hip ambiance and the staff is friendly and professional. They had a good selection of drinks and the servers served those cold drinks with warm smiles. All in all, Runy Beach Brewing is a cool place to unwind for a bit.“
“I had a bit difficulty locating the parking for this place(since it is not located directly in front or the side of it) and found you have to use a nearby parking lot to access it. But it is well worth doing so! It's a cute, calming place with delicious drinks. I would like to visit again!“
“We were late for our reservations due to traffic and the line for valet so leave early and if you’re late call. Tara was our server and she was wonderful. The Gancia Moscato d’Asti was so delicious and so were the scallops. The Brussel sprouts with the bourbon bacon jam is really good. I’m not a fan of pimento cheese but the Mac n cheese was surprisingly delicious. The mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection. The lamb chops were very tender, the lobster tail and salmon were good. Definitely would come back.“
“Happy hour at Oceana is the place to be! This restaurant is not only gorgeous, but their happy hour specials are fire. Champagne, cocktails, oysters, and delicious bites are all featured on the happy hour menu. And the fun doesn't stop there. The dinner menu has even more delicious options. The seafood is fresh and has incredible flavor. My favorite is the steamed seafood platter... with snow crab, king crab, dungeness crab, and peal and eat shrimp. You should stick around for desert too... because no meal is complete without an affogato. A delicious combination of espresso and vanilla ice cream.Cheers y'all!“
“I originally went in here thinking this was a craft beer supply store for brewing your own beer so don't be fooled by the name it's actually a tap room. You don't see the name 9-Zer0-Pour on the sign above the door ?. ? ? They feature a lot of good beers on tap an offer flights at whatever the 4 oz poor rate that's listed on the wall they have coolers with many good pints of beer and cans.“
“We have had the AMAZING experience of the serve r who calls herself MEGA TRON.. She is VERY customer oriented and has attention to detail with her customers orders. She is very knowledgeable about the selections they have to offer their customers. She’s funny and at the same time very respectful and all too happy to take care of their dinning needs. The pizza maker did an OUTSTANDING job and cooked our pizza to perfection unlike the other pizza establishments in the area that we have tried . We drove 25 miles to eat there and it was WELL WORTH the trip.“
“The WDS Taproom is why we drive about 20 minutes to get to this location every Sunday. The prices are great when you consider the beers and wines offered. On top of that, you usually get a points multiplier for making a purchase. As I said before, this is the reason why we do our shopping at this particular location.“
“Technically doesn't serve food but you can have food delivered or you can get jerky, chips and pizza. Great atmosphere and full of friendly locals. Regular events and get togethers.Parking: 2 sides to park on and around the back when it's loadedWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly“
“I LOVE THIS BAR!!!!! AND THE PPL!!! The bartenders make you literally feel like family…. genuinely love them all!! ….and the Beer is cold… the music is whatever you want it to be and live bands on some weekends and still a chill place to come an shoot some pool or play darts during the week!“
“The vibe of Dos Gatos was really cool. It actually didn’t seem like it would have amazing cocktails. But boy was I pleasantly surprised! The bartender made great drinks and they had a really expensive menu with great drink options. The espresso martini had lots of foam and a great taste!“
“The service was exceptional! The atmosphere was very much upscale, positive and friendly. My family and I chose this restaurant to provide an Easter meal and enjoyable experience that could be classified as the best restaurant and best dining experience . I was very impressed and satisfied with our dining experience!,“
“I found this gem through the 2023 Pub Pass in October 2023. I love the selection of 32 craft beers, which include 12 from Florida. And the selections change and rotate, which has been amazing! There is something for everyone. Not sure what to choose? No problem. They sell flights of beer or mimosas. Don't have time to stay, not a problem. You can purchase from their cold case or my preference is ordering a 32 oz. crowler of one of the tap beers and taking it home. They are working out the food issue and allow you to bring in food from the 6+ different restaurants in the plaza. But what I love about them the most is their sense of community and wanting to help people. They opened on Christmas 2023 and people brought a dish or snack to pass. It was amazing to see people who admitted to being alone, gather over fabulous food, and to meet new friends. That alone should convince you to try them out. You won't be disappointed. Gail and Aarron will take good care of you!“
“Very down to earth quiet hole in the wall bar what I like to call dive bars and sit down and have a drink and not be bothered it is the place to go pool tables are there games nice front porch to hang out at also dart boards outside and the back porch very “
“So "fact checker" like some person referenced on here are dumb. Nobody cares about fact checkers Karen. This was the spot. Has been confirmed by MANY SOURCES. I saw drug deals go down at the restrooms here and someone bought Krispy Kreme and put them out for everyone while I was there. Cheap cold beer drugs and donuts. Come on man. What else do you want?“
“We had a 40th birthday party here and everything was perfect! It’s really a hidden gem!! Whether it’s a party or just hanging out, it is a nice place to sit at the bar, watch sports, listen to music, play pool or darts, or swim in the pool. The owners were amazing and we will definitely be back!!“
“Even though this location is almost a half hour away, the food was amazing enough that I would definitely come back to try more. The decor and lighting were beautiful. I ordered a Mai Thai once everything was settled. I wish it would have had grenadine and less ice, but it was still good nonetheless. Afterwards, we had the Salmon Mango Tartare. Which was amazing. The flavors paired together very well. I'm not much of a fruit and seafood girl, but this tasted great. After that, they brought out hot appetizers for everyone to try. Gyoza, shumai, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and edamame. I tried everything except the crab Rangoon since I don't like cream cheese. It was very good and not greasy at all. They brought us nigiri next, followed by sashimi. I had the yellowtail and tuna, as those are my two favorites anyway. We had the Birds Nest roll followed by the Volcano Roll. Both were delicious. And they set the volcano roll on fire at the table. It was beautiful. They brought out hibachi, with steak, chicken, and shrimp. They had broccoli, zucchini, and carrots as the vegetables. And finally, they brought out the mochi. I tried the mango and strawberry since green tea has always been too bland for me. All in all it was an amazing time with really great people. I can't wait to try again!Vegetarian options: EdamameParking: It's in the corner of a plaza. Parking behind was small before you had to go around the building.“
“One of my favorite bars in Jax. I'm a sucker for the ring toss. In hopes to get a shot of something yummy l. The bartenders are always personable and fun. Theu always have a great playlist going. If you find your self there you should take a pic in the tub!“
“Root down is always great with silent disco & we had lots of fun. I will say that the calculated gratuity options starting at 30% on the iPads is alittle sneaky considering bartenders aren’t even shaking cocktails. After a couple drinks there’s no way I’m able to personally calculate my own 20% tip, especially with a busy bartender staring into my soul.“
“The food is absolutely amazing and the service is even better. When I tell you the food is seasoned - please don’t pass the salt and pepper shakers - they aren’t needed (the chef handled that in the kitchen for you). Must I add this is super clean and fresh. If you want to enjoy a good drink the bartenders are the best and they aren’t stingy on the liquor. If you in the city living or visiting this is the best place to come. The vibe is always tight, I promise you won’t be disappointed. For us by us. Support Indulgence you won’t be disappointed and you might even skip Sunday dinner with the family for a southern plate here.“
“Gem of a drafthouse in San Marco with plenty of tasty beer options. My faves are the Styrofoam Pony, the San Marco Sour and Nonchalant IPA. Great ambience inside and out and you might just catch a train cruising by too if you're lucky.“
“A quaint locally owned eatery. The food is delicious, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Penne alla Vodka (adding chicken) and the Pasta Combo. Both were delicious and well proportioned. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.“
“Great place to hang out with friends. Very comfortable and laid-back. You can even enjoy the outside if that's what you're wanting with a cold one in your hand. It is a smoking bar so if that's not your cup of tea then you might not want to choose it but it's well ventilated and it doesn't get to smokey. Pool table starts you name it. Make sure to say hey to Kaytlin. You're wonderful local bartender.“
“came to jax to celebrate a bday and wanted to check out a local dive bar. this is the perfect spot. everyone was so cool and fun. it was karaoke night and we were having a blast. the backyard is really cool as well. they have free plants which is great. good spot for sure“
“This is one of the go to spots for the guys and I. This bar has by for the cheapest drinks in town hands down. Dart, pool, juke box, you name it, TT has it to entertain. Bartenders there are absoluty wonderful. Only thing is it's it's smoking bar so if your not into that you prob won't stay long.“
“Wonderful little spot that offers everything from live bands to Bingo night. They have a Dart teams that compete and the bartenders are great people. It isn't high-end but rather a neighborhood gathering place. You might interrupt an 80's sing -a-long while drinking a beer vibe. Great place.“
“Town's craft beer haven is a delightful escape for beer enthusiasts. With an extensive and ever-rotating selection of brews, the atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy. The knowledgeable staff adds to the experience, offering expert recommendations. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, Town caters to diverse palates. The contemporary modern decor and communal seating create a communal vibe, perfect for sharing a pint with friends. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or a casual drinker, Town's commitment to quality and variety makes it a must-visit for beer lovers.“
“I didn’t know they had food but Craig, Mo and Jefe are absolutely amazing some of the best bar service I’ve ever received. Not to mention frozen Irish coffee all year round!! Karaoke is every Wednesday and is amazing, Cody the manager was kicking butt and Courtney picked up right where he left off.Dietary restrictions: No food here other than an occasional hot pocket that sells out fast because they’re deliciousParking: Parking is along a busy strip but you can get lucky and park in front. Otherwise you have to find parking in the surrounding areas which isn’t difficult just a longer walk“
“What can you say!? Gray beards is just a great place! Look this place should be packed every day and night!...like back in the day when the bar across the street was open..The demographic is picking up some around the area so hopefully we'll start seeing more people in here.“
“Dungeness mussels and shrimp were good. My main issue during the 2 times I’ve eaten here is that the sauce is extra salty. I tasted more saltiness than I did garlic. I went here because I didn’t want to travel the distance to my preferred place. I think next time (if there is a next time), I’ll just get the garlic butter and add my own spices.“
“Apparently this building can be rented from members. My friends husband/daughter planned a surprise birthday party here. It is a nice big room with tables and chairs and a dance floor between them. There was a separate area to set up food and a corner bar area. It appeared some of the servers worked for the place and they were very friendly and helpful. We originally walked into the regular side of the place which was smoky and had a large bar which is where the people sat. I was glad it wasn't in there.“
“Talk about magic! This bar has the best owner and staff. As standoffish that I am, this bar and again it’s owner make this is a place that makes you so very welcome. This is where the locals and EVERYONE should go. This is my new home bar! I ❤️ Keith Crichton Wilson“
“Good times, me and my homie was up the street snagging some wings and a beer, when we got the gumption to shoot some pool, as it was still early. Glad we did,I hadn't been here, but it was an old favorite for him. Very chill spot, cool laid back people and vibes. They got a smoke room too, right in the middle so you don't miss a thing, good size bar and the bartenders were great, attentive and friendly. Definitely on my radar now, I'll be back, gotta work on my game...been a while.“
“before last night it had been a while since I had been the trip to the triangle. and what a great feeling to be welcomed as if I had not miss the day with everyone's hellos and hey how you been felt right at home. The triangle will always hold a special place in my heart as their management allowed me to hold my uncle's celebration of life there a couple of years ago. and memory of games played with him on the pool tables there I always bring smiles to my face after last night I realized how Rusty I've become on the pool table so I'm sure to be back real soon to practice some and I recommend anybody who would like to have a good time relax and a nice cool beer to do the same again thanks to everybody there I appreciate you guys“
“Overall this hidden speakeasy is amazing! Its hidden store front with the "JAX POST" vibe is cool. I've been here a few times for the Bartenders Brawl but never on a regular night. Total for the 2 hours while I was here there was a max of 20 people in the establishment. Its cool it see this "speakeasy" bar not crowded with people and and be able to "observe" it in its "natural" environment. The bar design was an interesting, the concept it reminded me of a "Thrust" or "Runway" style stage. Im theater terms this allows the performers in this case the bartender with a greater interaction with the audience or customer in this case To my knowledge during the week they only have one Bartender on staff compared to the weekend aka Friday and Sat. This unique concept allows individual attention and space (during covid) but still flourishes on the weekends during the busiest time. I should have written a review in 2017 when I was introduced to this amazing establishment via a former F & B industry coworker.“
“We were in Murray Hill picking up our pottery from Jacksonville Pottery Studio (another place I'd recommend!) and decided to stop in as I've been really curious ever since I heard about a Larry's with a pizza restaurant in it. I thought it was going to be two separate restaurants sharing a space, but it's actually all owned by the same people responsible for Larry's! Just like Larry's bread is from NY, the pizza dough is made with NY water so it tastes more authentic! I actually don't really like NY pizza, it's too thin and "floppy" and greasy a lot of the time, but Fired Up pizza was really good and while it still had some "flop" to it, it was much more sturdy! Lol We sat at the bar and from there you can see the pizza cooking in the pizza oven. We saw some wings comes out too that looked realllyyy good!Service at the bar was good! They were nice and told us sort of the history of the Larry's people deciding to start a pizza restaurant. Food came out quickly too! I'm currently eating the leftovers for lunch, so I can attest it's still good the next day reheated in the toaster oven!“
“We had the pleasure of this being our first dining experience. It was a beautiful, delicious meal and the ambience was amazing. The wait staff Taylor, Tyler and Danielle were impeccable. It’s a blessing to gather with family; however Chophouse Thirteen made it memorable.“
“A friend brought me to this place today !I love these little holes in the hole ! As soon as I walked in I felt completely comfortable.Granted it was not busy at the time of the day but the service was good. The bar tender had a great attitude which is hard to find sometimes.I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area, it will worth it !!!“
“I have been here twice, once on a solo mission, once with family. Both times, the service was good. At times, it's slow, but that is understandable with the flavor and presentation of the food they served. I wish I could remember the names of the dishes, but I tried several ones, and I am of the belief that you can't go wrong with any of them!!Parking: I didn't have an issue either time that I went. I parallel parked in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: I brought my kiddos and saw other kids.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw the staff accommodate a woman in a wheelchair by removing chairs for her to sit. There was also a ramp.“
“This restaurant is amazing and the servers are very professional. I had a work meeting here, and my boss asked for the gluten-free menu( I have Celiac) . They had a separate menu, and they cooked everything separate , with no cross contamination. The manager came and talked to me and read the gluten-free menu for me. She was very smart and careful. The food was wonderful, and the cream brulee was so yummy. I didn't get sick at all. ?Dietary restrictions: GLUTEN FREE MENU“
“10/10, I highly recommend Malachi's Ice cream Bar if you are in the Jacksonville area. I was visiting in town from Tampa and after brunch a friend recommended we stop by to try some of their ice cream. One thing led to another and we were not only trying their ice cream but their giant mimosa with sherbet! Not only is their ice cream and sherbet amazing, but the staff was too! We felt so welcomed as soon as we walked in. The energy was literally the cherry on top to our ice cream experience at Malachi's. Will definitely be stopping by every time I'm in Jacksonville.“
