“The star of the visit was obviously the food. The sandwiches were outstanding. The hype was strong and I was worried that there would be a let down. Worry not, if you enjoy a good cubano or just a sandwich fan, Sanguich is a required stop in Miami. Besides the cubano, the pan con lechon was also outstanding.Cafecito did not disappoint. Service was also great for how busy they were.The only downside to Sanguich is their location. Limited parking in front of the restaurant and the restaurant itself is tiny. Rent would be more, but they really should expand to a bigger location to be able to serve more diners quicker.“

“My brother-in-law is a chef and he wanted to try this place out. We wanted the Cuban experience and taste that traditions. Food did not let down... it was superb. Service and atmosphere is everything you expect from a Cuban Havana vibe. My family ordered the Cubano sandwich and calamari. My dear Owner the whole bottle cost $170!!!!! In the liquor store!! At least have the courtesy to let your customer knows! There is nothing that i hate the most see a list of drinks with no prices!! “The food and drinks for the most part were good but obviously the live entertainment and vibes were what made it. The host was friendly but the servers were a bit inattentive and they were hard to grab their attention. They also never checked in on us. We had two servers, one at our table inside and one outside. They also charge 7% service charge on top of the automatic 18% tip here - which other Miami restaurants don’t do (they just charge 20% automatically). I would come back just for the live entertainment and the outdoor seating in the back. We smoked our cigars there and it was a beautiful setting.“

“We came here last minute on a Friday night. Not busy at all, and the plantain chips and Guac were absolutely fantastic and better than any “starter” Guac and chips I’ve ever had. Then my entree was a pork and a stack taco. The pork was fine BUT THE STEAK TACO. ? Honestly, quite possibly the best taco I’ve ever had. The aioli was exquisite, the steak was tender. In fact, the options are endless with thousands of customizable creations. They are a very popular side/appetizer in the Latin culture and are a great quick snack to eat on the go. Located directly on 8th St (Calle Ocho) in between SW 15th & 16th Ave. in the heart of the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, this place has been dishing out delicious croquetas since early-2024. I came here on a whim (during the afternoon of Sunday 3/17/2024 at 1:30pm) as I was craving a small bite and this place absolutely delivered. As far as the exterior of the building, it was quite easy to find due to the colorful array of forest green with a splash of pink and yellow on the awning. The interior brings that same colorful artwork which truly give this place a Miami vibe. Their menu offers not only Cuban craft croquetas (in 10 different flavors) but also sandwiches, sides, breakfast (served until 4pm), and Dulce dessert bites. They also carry craft shakes to cool you off on the sweltering hot & muggy Florida days. Since this was my first time trying their food and didn't want to go too overboard before dinner, I ordered just (1) of the "305". This croqueta had Cuban-styled picadillo , sweet plantains, and queso blanco with their signature dale sauce. Total price, only $2.20 before tax. Service was quick and my snack was ready in just a couple minutes. As far as the taste, this absolutely hit the spot for me. Crunchy on the outside while warm, cheezy, and savory on the inside, this was absolutely delicious and actually tasted like nothing I've ever tried before. They offer so many other delectable croquetas including "Medianoche" (pork, ham, & swiss), "Mexican Street Corn", "Creamy Spinach", and much more. They have very respectable hours being opened Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12am. With the exceptional service, prime location, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I am giving the Little Havana "Dos Croquetas" a perfect five stars.“
