“The place is just wonderful. I haven't eaten at all the restaurants in Key West, but this one has to be one of the best if not the best. For example it was vastly better than Louie's Backyard. Just make sure to get reservations first!“

“In our opinion, the best restaurant in Key West. Love this restaurant. Joanne was our server and did an excellent job. She certainly knows the menu and did a great job answering all our questions. Dinner was fabulous. I had a salad and pork Osso Buco. An abundant serving, very moist and absolutely delicious. My husband had foie gras and the duck entrée. He said it was wonderful. A rather small but always busy restaurant. Be sure to call in advance!!“

“It would be nice if they would cook their food separately from their seafood for people with seafood/fish allergies. I was very restricted to the sides that I could eat last night because they fry everything together. You would think for this type of five star restaurant they could at least fry their food separately“

“Pizza was just ok. Service was impressive! Hostess seated us and welcomed us to Key West. Asked us how our day was going and wanted to make sure we were happy here. We got our pizzas. A bit over priced for sure, but hey, can't beat the scenery!!Our waitress came over with 2 free margaritas!! What!? Who does that!?!? Thank you!!! Now that made the meal worth it.“

“The wait time for this place is approximately 20-30 minutes.Recommended Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Their famous dish is the Maine Lobster Roll ($25), generously filled with lobster and absolutely delicious! The lobster is incredibly fresh, and even reheating it doesn't compromise the taste.Another popular option is the Garlic Steamed Middle Neck Clams ($15), served with two slices of French bread. The base is a mixture of garlic and butter soup. Personally, I find that the clams themselves already bring a salty flavor, so choosing a butter with added salt might not be necessary. The soup has a rich and savory taste, and since the clams are thoroughly cleaned without any sand, you can skip this dish if you prefer.“

“Best food I had in Key West! Was not even close. Spent 4 days there and I can say by far this was the best meal I had. We actually made plans to go back our last day because it was so good.Do not be thrown off by the fact that it's basically in an ally. The vibes are hole-in-the-wall and it is.Make sure to stop here! (And get the hot sauce)“

“The flavor of the Key West Lobster Roll was explosive and absolutely delicious. Perfectly toasted bun, the right amount of butter, plenty of Lobster. Amazing. $29 too steep in my opinion for the small size. Should be much bigger but all the same. Amazing, definitely going back.“

“Tried the lobster roll. It was fabulous, but it was one slice of buttered toasted bread with Lobster meat on it, rolled up like a hot dog. The taste was amazing, but so small for $32. Just a very expensive snack. I feel it was way too overpriced.“

“This was our favorite spot we ate at while visiting Key West. I had the blackened fish tacos, which were the best I've ever had. The food here had great flavor, the service was excellent, and the outdoor seating on Duval Street was fun to take in. I would definitely recommend eating here while visiting Duval Street.“

“Fun, weird quirky place. Star Wars X-wing fighters hanging from the ceiling. X-men comic book and a Wolverine action figure hanging on the wall. Yet this place still pulls off a romantic vibe. Not easy to find the place I think that might be intentional. It’s almost like they dare you to eat there, if you can find it.Key west is loaded with great restaurants. This was our favorite of them all.A party of two, I couldn’t decide between the snapper and the tasting trio. They were nice enough to swap out the grouper with the snapper. My date had the tasting trio with the grouper and we shared the appetizer tasting trio. Everything was delicious. Don’t miss out on the lobster Mac and cheese it is the way of the Jedi.“

“Went with friends for an afternoon bite before their flight and it was perfect. Had the grouper shrimp cakes as an appetizer for the 4 of us then individual hamburgers for lunch. Had a wonderful young lady make us a ‘Painkiller’ and a Golden Margarita that was delicious. Domestic beer only $5, a true find on KW. Between the view, the vibe and the prices you can’t go wrong.“

“Super cute restaurant with kind, helpful staff. Their oysters are wonderful, mozzarella sticks are the best we’ve ever had and their Key lime Cartel drink is yummy!! The fish entrees were good and creative but a bit spendy for what they are (i.e. fish n chips $35).“

“I didn't like the service because the waitress didn't try to help us with some issues and made drama over trifles. My son is diabetic and I needed to know either the amount of carbohydrates in a serving or the amount of the food itself that contains carbohydrates. for him it was French fries. to which she replied that they don't have information about carbohydrates and there are no scales to weigh food either. in other restaurants this has never been a problem And the drama was that I changed the order, but this happened almost immediately after the order. I don't see a problem changing the order if it hasn't even started to be prepared yet. Overall the food was delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. only the fries were so generously sprinkled with salt that they had to be scraped off. otherwise it was impossible to eat“

“This restaurant has a good ambiance. It is away from downtown key west so we liked that it was a bit quieter. They have two locations and we tried the other location in the past and preferred this one by far. We ordered a salad to start and both got pasta dishes, spaghetti Norma and penne arrabbiata. Both were delicious! Service was exceptional. Would definitely return.“

“A handful of my gal pals and I make it a point to go to the Best Little Wine and Books shop in Lockhart once a month. And now that Poke in the Rear is there, it adds to the pleasure. The food is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced for what you're served. Add to that, Kaye Askins can pair a wonderful libation to go with any dish. Perfection.“

“This is a beautiful place to chill and enjoy the sunset! The margaritas were delicious. Likewise the food! We had the mahi sandwich which was really delicious. The service was exceptionally quick and the prices were surprisingly quite reasonable. The live music was also very good ?“

“When I was a kid, my dad was in the military and we lived for a short time in Italy. While there, I had the best pizza I ever had in my life. I have been chasing that high for over 30 years. The pizza at Onlywood definitely scratches that itch for me. It is authentic, so delicious, and brings back great memories. And the restaurant (easy to miss since it is down an alley off of Duval) is so charming. I also recommend the homemade Sangria…very refreshing. Please give this place a try.“

“Good fish food truck with a lot of different options. The fried fish tacos were great, ask for the spicy chipotle sauce on the side. The French fries were good too. Location is just a gas station parking lot but grabbing to go is the move. Don't let the look and location of this place deter you, this is a must try.“

“Highly highly recommend stopping here, I wish I found this place sooner! Prompt professional service and high quality food. We were winging the night & didn't dress for a nicer occasion, yet we didn't feel out of place, which made it an even more comfortable dining experience. Pictured: royal red shrimp & scallops & special of the day (grouper & scallops).“

“I was looking for a nice restaurant at a pretty good price in Key West and this place was perfect. Got some happy hour drinks and the Mahi mahi bites which were cooked perfectly. I’ve worked at the top seafood restaurant in my home state for 8 years and the Tuna Nachos and Tuna dinner platter were right on par with my home restaurant!! Great place and a great value! Would have preferred Caribbean music rather than country but that just a personal preference ?“

“Tom at the bar will make your experience here. His service was warm and inviting. I always love the vibe in here, it's cozy and intimate and they have outdoor seating as well. We got the Key West Shrimp cocktail, which was fantastic as well as the truffle fries. Split the Blackfin burger with egg which is always good. Dessert of carrot cake and brownie was the perfect end to the night. Great beer and wine also!“

“The atmosphere of the place is amazing, the food is very delicious and the staff is very helpful and open. Cocktail sauce was something unknown to me, I went there to ask what its composition was other than horseradish and they gave me all the information I needed to know about the sauce. You can bring your own booze becuase they don't sell alcohol.“

“This was an amazing dinner! I was recommended it when I was getting my nails done and she said that this is where the locals go. The portobello soup was decadent and I got the Hog fish (the dish they are known for), the hollaindaise sauce this was in was light and buttery, just absolutely delightful. I asked the waiter for recommendations for the dessert wine, it paired perfectly with the Dessert Trio. Highly recommend this place!“

“This place is awesome! Only 9 miles to Key West. The restaurant had really good food. The rv park is tight, which is expected in the Keys. It's also expensive, which is also expected. We enjoyed our time here!Food & drinks: Great food!“

“Evening was ideal for sitting outside. The sunset this time of year is not directly in view but the sky was beautiful. The charter boats come in shortly after sunset and are enjoyable to watch. The service was attentive and the food was good. Everyone was pleased with the menu. I would dine again upon return.“

“Self service place at a nice little Beach. Perfect location to watch the sunset with a few cocktails. The drinks are served in plastic cups because of safety reasons. They also have a vegan option except the drinks. The hummus wrap was very nice. “Stopped in after 8 on a Thursday hoping to get a drink and bite at the bar. It was packed with a fun combination of locals and visitors and the host went out of his way to ensure we had drinks and watched over us until two seats opened up. Then we met Eric, who continued to provide the best service in town and did his best to make sure everyone at the bar knew each other. We shared a flavorful mushroom quesadilla and Caesar salad with mahi. The mahi mahi was so beautifully prepared it flaked apart with a fork, and the dressing was much lighter than the creamy version too many restaurants serve these days. Even with the wait at the beginning (get those reservations in!), it was a leisurely hour and a half of good food and wonderful company.“

“The food was really good here. I definitely recommend the chicken nachos. We pretty much got pull and peel shrimp everywhere once we realized on good they were. We brought some fish we had caught that morning and had them do the taco setup with it which came with 6 sides and we had our yellowtail and bonito fried and blackened. A nice outdoor space on the water with plenty of shade and they have a store upstairs if you’re low on sunscreen.“

“After swimming in the pool and feeling all icky and stuffing my mouth with constant seafood (it’s Key West, what else would I expect?). I wanted to eat something not involving seafood. Yes the name is of a cool sea creature but hey, might as well shoot my shot. I ordered the Gnnochi and my god, it was so good and the portion they give is insane especially with the price. It could feed like 2 adults. In my humbles opinion , if you’re is key west and tired of seafood or your children hate seafood, try this place out.Kid-friendliness: A Large variety of food to eat and they’re so good.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a pretty cool ramp!“

“We chose Fisherman's Cafe based on previous reviews which mentioned having some Gluten Free (GF) options. Admittedly, I misjudged the weathered, physical appearance as I approached, but one bite of the food immediately had me mentally adding this to my list of Key West favorites! We timed our visit perfectly just after the peak lunch time and had the entire place to ourselves with only a few minutes to wait until our food came to our table hot and fresh. Once we began eating, we quickly adapted to the no frills, picnic style dining arrangement. The owner was low key (no pun intended) and soft spoken, but when I mentioned my wife's gluten allergy, he said "that sounds like celiac disease right? My best friend's wife suffers from the same thing." He then went on to list the menu items he could offer without worry, as well as what we should avoid. If you or someone in your dining party has celiac, you know what a relief it is when the person at the grill gets it! We are so thankful to whomever previously mentioned Fisherman's Cafe having GF options. I surprised myself by ordering the pulled pork sandwich rather than the Mahi Mahi tacos, but I was not disappointed with my choice. It came out in a few minutes piping hot and so delicious. The fries were similar to boardwalk type fries served hot and not too hard. My wife had the Island Bowl which she thoroughly enjoyed. Although the selections are limited, you are guaranteed a great meal fresh off the grill at the Fisherman's Cafe. We will be back one day!“

“Our dining experience at this waterside establishment exceed our expectationsStarting with our table with a beautiful harbor view and great breezeWe started with lobster bisque and cinch chowder. Both were delectable. Bisque was creamy (add some of the peach hot sauce for a taste that takes it to the next level ). The conch chowder chock full of ground conch. Some of the best I have hadOur dinner consisted of crab cakes (nothing but crab) and a home made lime sauce complemented the cakes perfectly Our other meal if scallops with creamy risotto and tender bok choy was extraordinary full of flavor with each bite.Lastly our server, Heather, made our evening a wonderful visit! “My husband and I ordered the lasagna and fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, both were very good and full of flavor! The portion of noodles was huge. The lasagna that he got was great but not worth the price they charge for a single slice. The server was very nice, but it took forever for our order to come out. We didn't order any appetizers but did get a dessert and coffee afterwards and it took almost 2 hours. I would recommend this place and would eat here again! Overall happy with my choice to make a reservation here.“

“My husband and I went here after our wedding, and it definitely was the fancy celebratory restaurant we were looking for. We got a free dessert and the service was amazing. Our waiter was really responsive and friendly and knew the menu really well. The interior is incredible and has all the nautical vibes you might expect from a restaurant right by the sea. Everything felt so fancy. Okay the food. The food may be pricy, but it’s SOOOO worth it!! I had the Shrimp Orecchiette and it changed my life. The shrimp is clearly VERY fresh and different from anything you might get at a store or at a standard seafood restaurant. The pesto was also the best pesto I’ve ever had. My husband really enjoyed his food too. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone, as long as you’re willing to spend $100+ for two people.“

“Music was super nice, area was good- service was awful- bar backs were rude, slow and I was going to leave an additional cash tip even tho the bar tender gave me the wrong drink the second time I asked for a different drink and another bar tender got rude with me for leaving a tip on my card that was lower due to me going to give additional cash instead- instead I “fixed my tip” on the card and gave less than the cash amount I planned on- never had such an awful experience- ruined my trip to the keys - won’t be back. They were the rudest bar tenders I’ve ever had.“

Our appetizer, our salads, the conch chowder just so delicious. “We came here for a late lunch on a whim, just looking for a place to eat, and it was the perfect place for a quick and delicious meal. “My visit to Salty Oyster was a good time - the bartender was super friendly, and the service was quick. The food was pretty good, though wished they had a more extensive menu, and the cocktail was decent but not the best. Tried the Blue crab & corn fritters (7/10), Blackened Grouper Sandwich (8.5/10), Perry Punch (3/10). Nevertheless, the fun atmosphere and great view of the marina made it a worthwhile visit.“
