“I was good, not excellent! But to be fair, the prices were not bad. But, beware they add 20% for a tip automatically. Which is not that bad, but they don’t make you aware, or at least if it was on the menu I didn’t see it. I would have not been happy if we received bad service, but I would say the service like the food, was good, but not excellent. Also, to be fair I have eaten at quite a few restaurants that made you feel like you were a rockstar, so I have a high bar to get a 5 star.“

“One of our favorite places for breakfast and lunch because of the food and the ambience! We also love that it is owned by family from France! Athough service was a bit slow today, it gave us quality time to catch up with family from out of town. (I think they were short staffed - one server and one busser.) The atmosphere was awesome, the food was great!I love their scallops, they are just perfect along with the risotto. On a more recent visit 3/24/24) they had asparagus with the Scallops instead of the broccoli.My parents love the Salmond salad, but my dad commented that on our most recent trip (3/24/24) that the salmon was a little dry.From 3/24/24, my husband said the lamb was good but a little chewy, he had to chew a lot.There is plenty of parking in the parking lot on either side of the mall.Parking: The Sarasota restaurant is located in a shopping mall, so there’s lots of free parking.“

“The food was very delicious except for the gnocchi didn't care for that much. I am in love with the little spread they bring with the bread, they bring 2 types of bread which both were great. So yummy. Thank you for the bit of heaven in my mouth. They seem to have a great relationship with their customers very personable and I love that. Definitely recommend this place. They gave us little pizza appetizer that was phenomenal complementary. very happy with this place.“

“Finally! A Japanese place that serves Okonomiyaki. This is a popular dish in Japan that I grew up eating when I lived there. It provided me with a sense of nostalgia as I do not come across this as often as Takoyaki, which I also love. The interior matched the theme of the restaurant, an Izakaya. I will definitely be returning when I visit Sarasota again.“

“We celebrated my wife's 70th last night. When we arrived the tablecloth was glowing with little bright multicolored stars and circles. Sean, our sever, was amazing, genuinely friendly, genuinely representing the best menu choices, just so tuned into what we might enjoy. The French onion soup was excellent and in some mystical way the bread has the occasional crunch even though it was submerged in the broth. The South African lobster tails were sweet and tender, and frankly better than the best possible New England lobster. The sliced filet with onion, mushrooms and "fig essence" was perfect. Dessert was on the house for the birthday girl and it too was excellent.“

“I took my nephew on a date to this incredible restaurant. We loved the atmosphere and all the lights. The food was the best I’ve had in Sarasota so far. The beef carpaccio was for sure the best I’ve ever had. I have been coming to the area for the last 22 years and I will definitely be back to this incredible restaurant.“

“We have been to Fiorella's 4 times since the first of the year. I believe they opened in August of 2022. We chose to try it in the first place because it was open on Sundays and the menu looked very appealing. The chef and servers are great. The pasta (house made) dishes are especially good. There is typically a starter, pasta and entrée special each night. The bruschetta starter is unique, not your typical style, and awesome we get it every time we go. The chef is willing to accommodate a diners personal wants and needs. The portions are a perfect size, not too big and not too small. We haven't tried every dish on the menu yet but those that we've had were excellent. It's a small intimate type of restaurant. Make your reservations early for the weekends because they fill up fast. We took friends with us the last 3 times we went there and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. This is fast becoming our new favorite Italian restaurant!“

“Just perfect. It's not often a restaurant can tick off all the boxes well. They did just that last night before the opera. Pleasant at walking in, greeted and seated very pleasantly. Service was at the perfect cadence never rushed and respectful of our opera start. Nor did anyone try to clear the table early, a practice I loathe.Meal was great and our waitress (Meredith) couldn't have been more perfect.I'll be back for sure.“

“It was my girlfriend 31st birthday, the night started a little sour as we had to wait over 10 mins after being seated for a waiter to greet us though they were not busy. They did apologize for the mix up and after that the night was great, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. She enjoyed her birthday and for that, thank you.“

“Sardinia deserves a 4.75 and maybe higher. Food is delicious and service exceptional too. A bit loud due to the room size and table placements, but that's required to run a business in SRQ. The Sardinian Bread is exceptional. All pastas are homemade...and wonderful as well. We had a delicious dinner and look forward to returning.“

“It's been quite some time since I've been in a cigar lounge. I would typically prefer Scotch, but at just past noon, a beer was perfect. I met a friend there I grew up with. He had a Fuente Hemingway Classic. Since I had a bunch of them in my humidor, I opted for an Oliva V Series maduro Churchill.The cigar selection was quite good, regardless your preference, with a wide selection of brands, blends and sizes.“

They also have beers on tap for the non wine drinkers.The service was also excellent. Honestly the best service I’ve had at a bar in a long time! Will absolutely be back next time we’re in town.“
