The service both times we have been has been superb - such friendly and attentive staff who are friendly and helpful and understand and answer questions. This most recent time we had several appetizers - all stunning. The fish was entree made your way or choice is always good, but I have to say I was impressed by the lobster roll also.The ambiance is so cool and I don’t even mind when there’s a wait since there’s the “backyard” with a bar and snacks and sometimes music.“

“Exactly what you would expect from stripmall seafood... AMAZING!!! The seafood was so fresh and delicious, it's too hard to explain. It's the kind of meal that when you take the first bite, you know you made to right decision and are happy with yourself for taking the time to find the place. All you want to do is to go get every single person you know and take them there to eat.I started with the clam chowder, which had so much clam meat, it was like something I would make myself, just I can't make it that good. Then we had the warm lobster roll and then the fishermans platter.When I tell you I was amazing, it reminds me of a few places in Boston, but the people are nicer and the food is 5 times better.Take the time and stop here. “We stopped by Pinchers on our last day in Florida for our Spring Break vacation on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't too packed and we were seated quickly.Our waiter, Gian, was friendly and attentive to our needs. He suggested a few option for appetizers that were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Boatload Mussel Marinara and the Pinchers Claws. Both had great flavor with a nice sweet and savory touch. Nice and buttery.We also ordered the Clam Chowder soup and the Corn and Crab Chowder soup. Both soups tasted great and had a nice texture, not lumpy or fishy taste at all.Lastly, we ordered the Tacotastic Mahi Mahi tacos with a side of cole slaw and green beans. Needless to say, the tacos and sides were on point, tacos had perfect flavor with the house picante sauce, the slaw was nice and fresh and the green beans were cooked nicely, not overcooked with a nice crisp.It's hard to find a new spot that you're trying for the first time where you enjoy everything that your ordered, but this was one of those unicorns!“
“I've been trying to put things off the menu, and I am really impressed with their ribeye steak, their prime rib, and their breakfast buffet on the weekends of filet mignon Benedict. Theirwedge salad is to die for.I don't care for their desserts, And I don't care for their fried foods, like their chicken fried steak or fried chicken, which are chicken breasts. I've had five different servers, and all of them were really professional and quite good. I've become a regular.“

The atmosphere was awesome, the food was great!I love their scallops, they are just perfect along with the risotto. On a more recent visit 3/24/24) they had asparagus with the Scallops instead of the broccoli.My parents love the Salmond salad, but my dad commented that on our most recent trip (3/24/24) that the salmon was a little dry.From 3/24/24, my husband said the lamb was good but a little chewy, he had to chew a lot.There is plenty of parking in the parking lot on either side of the mall.Parking: The Sarasota restaurant is located in a shopping mall, so there’s lots of free parking.“
“We tried Tripletail for the first time and it did not disappoint. Our stunning server, Lily, was very attentive and knowledgeable. My husband tried a smoked bourbon and said it was very good, I had a tasty white sangria. We shared the shrimp and crab dip app. Our entrees were delicious. We had the tripletail, and we highly recommend this. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and they were equally as good. We highly recommend visiting Tripletail Seafood in Sarasota.“
“One of the most delicious and comforting meals I’ve ever had. Everything was made fresh, including the pasta, and the attention to detail, love and care put into the food showed through every bite. The owner was so accommodating even though we called for a last minute reservation and was so welcoming from the second we walked into the door. You can tell this is his life’s passion and he truly wants to share the food from his region of Italy with everyone who walks through the doors. It was a fantastic meal and experience, and we will be back. Without question, the best Italian spot in the area.“
“We have had the most wonderful experiences at Veronica’s. The food is always delectable, and the service always impeccable. The interior has a gorgeous, art-nouveau/Victorian inspired design, which is a pretty cool place on its own merit to eat delicious seafood in. But the food supersedes even the design—we particularly are fans of the little eyedroppers of special sauce for the oysters (better for microdosing the flavor with, my dear)! Finally, a note about the service—we have been lucky enough to have the wonderful Rebecca as our server multiple times. She remembers our family each year and provides the kindest, most impeccable service…outdoing herself each time. She is the highlight of every visit and we can’t wait to be back next time!“

“Make a reservation, this place is busy. We went later on a Sunday night and still had a to wait.The food was excellent! I got the sesame tuna with baby bok choy and was not disappointed. The tuna "melted" in my mouth and everything is was seasoned to perfection. We took a gamble at a place we've never been and it was worth it.To be fair the place is beautiful inside. I really would like you to know that the inside seating is rather "intimate" with others around you. Our table was unusually close to the tables next to us. I imagine the reason for this is to maximize the amount of people who they can provide service to at the same time. One can't help but overhear conversations at the table next to them, and be sure that they hear yours.“

“We celebrated my wife's 70th last night. When we arrived the tablecloth was glowing with little bright multicolored stars and circles. Sean, our sever, was amazing, genuinely friendly, genuinely representing the best menu choices, just so tuned into what we might enjoy. The French onion soup was excellent and in some mystical way the bread has the occasional crunch even though it was submerged in the broth. The South African lobster tails were sweet and tender, and frankly better than the best possible New England lobster. The sliced filet with onion, mushrooms and "fig essence" was perfect. Dessert was on the house for the birthday girl and it too was excellent.“

We come here three to four times a year every time we come on vacation in Sarasota and I’ve never had more of a consistently perfect meal anywhere. Prime rib is literally perfection. My husband had the coconut shrimp, and son got the grouper prepared in a maple glaze and he said it was DE-Lish. Two of us started with the Lobster bisque, a must if you go there. We ordered peel and eat shrimp with old bay, street down dip, calico burger, fish tacos, grouper sandwich, steamed clams, and the Mac and cheese and chicken tender kids meals. Zero complaints from our table. Everything was so delicious. The live music was great.I think we waited 10-15 minutes for the table on a Monday night. We had tried to go on Sunday but the wait was 30+ which was too much for our hungry toddler.We really enjoyed this spot.“
“It was my girlfriend 31st birthday, the night started a little sour as we had to wait over 10 mins after being seated for a waiter to greet us though they were not busy. “5 starts BUT READ!To be honest the food is amazing, fresh and you can tell it is made with love, BUT portions are not like in the pictures, they serve pretty small portions for mexican food and special for this kind of places, we had to come back and buy some tacos in another little places, they came with a lot of protein and they were just 1$ each, in Mexi-Peru they were 3$ each with just a little bit of carne asada on it. Too bad I didn't take pictures because initially I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after being still hungry and having to come back for more food I think this review could be useful, don't get me wrong excellent taste but portions - price not at all!To be honest, the food is delicious! It is fresh and you can see that they cook with love, BUT the portions for Mexican food and this type of place that is like a fair, were very small, they are not like the photos! After eating we were hungry and had to go back to buy $1 tacos at another stall that were also delicious. It is not a negative comment and it is too bad that I did not take a photo, because initially I did not plan to leave any comment, but after having to buy at another stall, and cheaper with more food to be satisfied, I think that this comment would be useful for both The owner and the customers, the food is seriously good but the prices for what they serve are not!“
“I made reservations at the much further away Flavio’s on Siesta Key for a table of 11, such a silly mistake, I suggest you don’t do that-it’s stressful! Anyway, the staff at Flavios on Main quickly set us up and welcomed us. The service and food was impeccable! I was so impressed with how well they took care of us all. “Portions are HUGE and FRESH! The server was very friendly, and we started with a fresh squeezed lemonade, and some house made chicha morada. Yum! I ordered a half salad (which came on an entree plate), my sister had a half soup (at least 12 oz) both were fresh, and flavorful. She had the ceviche mixto and I had the pescado lo macho. We should have ordered only one entree, but both were outstanding. The ceviche was firm and mild ( fish, shrimp, bay scallops, crab ....) dressed with a lovely lime and spice leches. My fried fish was covered in a seafood-packed sauce, that would make an amazing bisque! The bill was a bit high for a lunch, fine for dinner, and considering we'll get another meal out of it, still a bargain! Recommend!“
“We came to this location for the first time! When walking in it seemed very unorganized, but once we were seated we were hopeful. We sat in RJ’s section- what a friendly super welcoming waiter. He made us feel very welcome even made us laugh a few times. He continued to check on us and was exceptional at his job. We will definitely be back and ask for his section next time. “This was a delicious stop! The fish shrimp combo was perfectly cooked. You can choose to grill or fry the fish or shrimp and I asked for extra crispy fries. My husband had a grilled shrimp bowl which was a ton of food but delicious. Service was quick and friendly. “The service and food was delicious! We came here for a bachelorette weekend, made an easy reservation on open table. We were seated immediately, ordered cocktails and calamari to start! The bread and oil that is complimentary is delicious. We ordered the salmon entrees, lobster linguini, and the clam linguini dish! They even threw in a special tiramisu for our bride and it was to die for!! The environment is cozy too! Our waiter was from Hungary and very attentive! The service is impeccable, atmosphere is casual and lovely, while the food is creative American fine dining, with whimsy, such as the Birthday cake ice cream for dessert. The local red snapper dish was the best seafood dish that 3 of our guests have ever had. Highly recommend the Pickled Peppers and such, Parmesan Beignets and the Berkshire Pork as well. The attention to detail and flavors for each dish is Michelin Star quality. We have dined at the finest restaurants in NYC. If we lived in Sarasota, we would go back to Indigenous over and over. This time I got a GF Baked Penne dish, the cheese pull and the flavor was out of this world! Our niece ordered the Smoked Fish Dip (I’m not sure if this is GF but I still tried it because they were raving about it, and it was immaculate). They were super busy this visit (Sunday night @ 7pm) we were able to get seated within 15/20 min. Even though you could tell our waiter was extremely busy, he was still very attentive, calm and quick.
