“Great restaurant. The staff and food was amazing. Highly recommended for those in the area. The restaurant is a combination of a few different restaurant brands so there was a wide selection. Recommend trying the brisket, mac & cheese, and the Tres leches banana pudding.“
“Found SALT on Yelp! And decided to give it a try while I was in town for the weekend. Wanted a quick takeout- ordered the Brisket (got some "moist" and some "lean" - both were delicious) and some pulled pork. Also had the smoked Mac and cheese and the finest collards that I've had in a looooong time. Counter staff was amazingly friendly and the bill was okay, too. All things being equal? I WILL be back!“
“First Cuban pizza and enjoyed it. I appreciate they are personal sized, that way my girlfriend and I can get the pizza we each want. The pizza was good, I would probably want it cooked just a little longer, but it tasted great. The star of the show was the cheese coming over the sides and forming a cheese crust. Excellent. Try them out for a twist on your pizza.“
“The food was amazing, really a 12/10. I tried the Cuban sandwich empanada, buffalo chicken with cheese empanada, and the flan dessert empanada. They offer a variety of sides and sauces to go with your meal. I tried the regular cut fries and they tasted so fresh and exceeded my expectations. Everyone is really kind and makes you feel welcomed. Definitely going to be a regular here!“
“Drop by often to eat in and take out. Delicious Cuban and American choices. Staff is delightful and restaurant is quite clean and comfortable. We even bought a couple of cool coffee mugs for home. Eat local - you'll be glad you did!Parking: Big lot - often crowded but always find a spot.“
“A friend recommended we try Las Palmas Latin Grill, apparently they liked the food… so my wife and I decided to stop by for dinner and see what it was all about. The restaurant seating are is not very large, but the place is very clean, nicely decorated with a contemporary style and the music playing was on point. The menu has a decent selection of offerings, even my wife and daughter who are vegetarians found something delicious to eat. The primary server and co-owner handles all of the tables in a timely manner and is cordial enough to make you feel welcomed. Being our first time here, we wanted to try as many things as we could so we got a lot of sides and an appetizer. Everything was prepared and cooked fresh, everything was seasoned to perfection. Even the deserts we tried were delicious! Now, let’s talk about the STAR of the show, but before I do that, let me put into prospective who I am. I am a total foodie, a real meat lover. I have owned several grill and smokers, and specialize in smoking Short Ribs, Prime Ribs with reverse sears, Briskets and the occasional treat of amazing Wagyu filets in the BGE. So I am VERY picky about my steaks. I am usually disappointed with steaks from Long Horn and other big chain steak restaurants…Now, in the menu I see something that caught my attention. Churrasco Steak with a very bold claim underneath (The best in Town). I believe this was the only item in the menu without a price next to it. After inquiring with the server (co-owner) she explained that it is charged at current market price and today that steak is about $44 dollars. Despite my wife almost choking on her water I decided to go ahead and order it. Anyone who makes such a bold claim and charges a premium better be prepared to back it up. So I ordered the Churrasco and asked for it to be cooked Medium. After a few minutes of waiting the food came out. Before I reveal my thoughts on the steak let me say that every dish that came to the table was put together very nicely. I take my fork and knife and cut straight down the middle of the churrasco to see if it was cooked to my request. It was a perfectly cooked medium steak! Then I sliced a piece and gently put it closer to my mouth so I could smell it before tasting it. The smell was amazing, mouth watering with anticipation. I finally started eating the steak and the flavor profile was perfect, the tenderness was amazing. I remember closing my eyes momentarily to allow all of my senses to focus on enjoying this delicious piece of steak. When I reopened my eyes and looked towards the kitchen, the Chef and Owner “Ramses” was standing there looking at me as if he was waiting to see my reaction… I looked at him and smiled, gave him a thumbs up and said, it’s amazing! He came to the table and explained that he gets this cut brought directly to him from a game in Arkansas where they raise their cows to be extra fatty and tender. (I think maybe they are trying to replicate what the Japanese do to get Wagyu steaks)… He said, he wants to have the best churrasco in town, that’s why he goes the extra mile to get the best meat he can. I must give Ramses a shout out for making this steak so perfectly delicious. Cooking churrasco can be tricky because it’s such a thing cut, and for him to make it perfectly as I wanted it and with such an amazing flavor profile, I was really impressed. So here are my final thoughts….Yes, $44 dollars for a steak is somewhat on the high end for this cut. But, if you do not ruin it yourself by asking for it to be cooked anything more than medium. You will enjoy a mouth watering piece of meat.We enjoyed everything that we ordered and would definitely come back to Las Palmas soon!Vlad.“
“This was hands down the best Cuban food I’ve had in a long time. You know the food is going to taste good when it takes a minute to explain what you want to your cook! He was amazing and very helpful. We had the Cuban sandwich and (steak milanesa a caballo) steak & egg with Cuban rice. The food truck itself has a cute couple benches where you can sit and enjoy your meal which I definitely recommend eating it while it’s hot.“
“The family and people working there are awesome and very friendly. So recommend. I worked out their for two weeks, and I went in 4 times. I'll definitely be going back. The amount of food you get in a to go plate is great for the $$.Parking: It's in a plaza so their is parking just not much. Go around to the back and park as well. I did with my monster truck.“
“Nice little place with pretty good food! Maybe five tables in the joint. We got the palomilla steak, Moro, and fried plantains. Steak was nice and tender, people were nice and welcoming. Lady knew everyone by name! Reminds me of the little mom and pop restaurants growing up! Will definitely be back! Also, the colada we got after was really good. Have a nice selection of sodas as well! Give it a try!“
“I am all about supporting small business. Great people. Smiles all around. All good except pricing. Small cuban place like this should have reasonable prices. Stopped by for a coffee, and thought why not try omellette to give the place some business. My bill came to 17.50 and with tip close to $21. Kid you not! Omellete was 10.50, asked for onions in omellete 0.75, cuban bread 1.50. First the older gentleman rang it up to $25. At my perplexed face, he punched bunch of keys again to drop it down to $17.50. :) Just saying...!!!“
“Great good excellent service owners are so friendly they make you feel at home the girls at the bar are awsome I just love this place the music is great I recommend this place to anyone bring your family great environment thanks for making us feel at home ❤“
“My goodness! What a great experience finding this place all the way from Virginia. We've been to quite a few Cuban restaurants in the area, but the flavors and the food here was above them all. Great menu and the service was awesome. Thanks to Julie, Tony, and Dagne for making this experience a memorable one. We'll definitely be back for more. I totally recommend this place.“
“John and Jaiden set a great atmosphere and were very welcoming for my first time being there. The Cuban sub was what the comments described it to be, delicious and satisfying. The hard part was selecting a drink because of the variety of drinks that was offered, which is a good thing. Found it funny that was said by staff. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere was outstanding. Definitely deserves 5 stars.“
