“Family owned restaurant husband and wife. The service was great. I had the Beef Lumpia for an appetizer and I had their special Walleye blacked with rice and vegetables. The food was out standing. The owner was behind the bar and his wife waited on us who were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very nice with brick walls and a tin ceiling. They had all kinds of bottles of wine on the walls and a full bar. There was outside sitting but we chose inside because it was a little too warm outside. We are in down only visiting but would make this a regular to eat at.“

“It was our first time ever at Grannie's. It was very popular. The atmosphere is that of a dinner. Nothing fancy. Our service was great with fast food and our young server was quick and pleasant. I didn't care for my French toast it was bland for my taste but my wife and granddaughter liked their breakfasts. If we get back that way again it will be on our radar to return to Grannie's.“
“This is a old Florida style country dinner. Nice rustic interior. Nice outdoor patio seating. Service was friendly and tea was good. My wife started with cheese burger soup. OMG I could have ordered more to take home. She had the chicken salad sandwich with grapes, pecans with spring mix lettuce on a croissant toasted. It was delicious. I had the steak sandwich with cheese and bacon. It was good. It came with shoe string fries and creamy coleslaw. It was relaxing and nice setting outside. They do a big breakfast here also.“

“This restaurant is the perfect example of how I like to travel. No chain stores. Just real folks and real food. The atmosphere is good. Everyone kind of keeps to themselves and just enjoy the food. I had a simple big breakfast that didn’t disappoint. The food looked good and tasted better. The small things like perfectly sweetened sweet tea and the best biscuits that I have had in quite a while. Our server was very warming and fun. You’ll like this place. The menu is very diverse with the typical breakfast foods along with liver and onions and gator bites. “This was the perfect stop on our way down to Tampa from the panhandle. Incredibly friendly service and super clean. The main dining was clean and the bathrooms were clean. The food hit the spot. I got a foot long corn dog and my wife got the Chicago dog. There is ketchup and mustard at each table. There is also malt vinegar near the register. We all liked the fries. I got Mexican fries and my wife got poutine. The wings are great and the chicken sandwich was also tasty. Based on our sampling, I think it's a safe bet that everything on the menu is worth a try. If you're in the mood for some hot dogs and fries, then it doesn't get any better than this.“
