“We celebrated my birthday tonight at the Pampa Gaucho Steakhouse in Pompano Beach Florida. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the impeccable service provided by Paulo and Rosa. We were treated to a sumptuous salad buffet and then an assortment of some of the best variety of meats we have ever tasted. They were ready to feed us all night long. Luckily we were able to take a break every now and then for the best Brazilian lemonade we have ever tasted. The Papaya With vanilla Icecream suggested be Rosa was excellent. “The Fish Shack is a neat little restaurant with a "small family diner" type of vibe. The place is busy most of the time and the locals frequent The Fish Shack on a regular basis. They have a long list of "fresh catch" items as well. We had the swordfish and hogfish, which was something I had never tried before. Food was excellent and the fish was served hot off the grill! We always split a slice of key lime pie and their home-made version was very good - not quite as exotic and fancy as some of the higher-end restaurants do, but the flavor was very key lime!I highly recommend that you include The Fish Shack as one of your lunch or dinner stops when in the Lighthouse Point/Pompano Beach area!Parking: It's in a small shopping center, so parking is pretty easy.”

“We had an excellent lunch at Papa's Raw Bar yesterday. Jamie, our server, was FANTASTIC! She explained the menu in detail. We each had catch of the day blackened in tacos and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this spot!”

“I've been going to this place for over a year now, and its consistently amazing. Peter is the friendliest person you will meet. Food is great both sushi and thai, which is rare, fast service, very attentive. I am very picky with my sushi and thai food and i have to say the food was excellent. Sushi has the correct rice and tastes great, i had drunken noodle and pad thai which was great. Fish is always super fresh. They have extra spices on the side home made. Also tom kha soup is just right.”

“Relaxing place on the marina, with delicious food and custom cocktails. I had dinner on a Wednesday on February here, Cuban sandwich, first with a key lime martini. There was a singer after happy hour ended. The restaurant was tucked in the neighborhood, but it was worth the search.”

“We didn't read the reviews enough to understand that this is a take out only place. So, we almost did not stop. But so glad we did. The Addiction Kitchen doesn't look like much from the outside, next to a convenience store. And the inside doesn't add much either, just a room with a couple counters, and some refrigerators. When we arrived, 3 cute young children came out to take our order, we took a while to figure out what we wanted so eventually the owner came in and helped out.While there some regulars came in, and said they drove 45 minutes to come here. We ended up ordering a 10oz Sirloin Steak, Cajon Shrimp Alfredo Penne, and Country Fried Chicken. As sides we got mashed potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, and the penne mac&cheese.The food was so good. Everything was awesome, pictures and words can not do it justice. This was some of the best food that I have had, such a hidden gem. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area. I plan to try the ribs next time!”

The pepperoni was the next I’ve had and the gluten free pasta with spicy vodka sauce was my favorite for Italian anywhere. “Omg I love Mauricios! My favorite hole in the wall to get my picanha fix! They never fail and the service is always great! If you go I recommend the mixto platter , it's a good way to get a taste of a few things. Come for the steak, stay for the BMB caipirinhas!”
