“Hello a few weeks ago I went to Alex's Cuban Cafe which I just happened to notice in a small strip mall all the way to the right corner. I was intrigued about them as good Cuban food, done right without breaking your wallet is hard to find. I was impressed to find the Cuban food actually tasted like real Cuban food, in a clean and cozy environment. I asked Alex's wife Missy or Misty? how long had they been there and she said 24 years! Wow they are doing it right, stop by you will be impressed with not only the quality of food but how much they give you without it being so expensive, and of course great service give them a try you won't be disappointed!“
“First time visiting Wekiva Island decided to go to see their Christmas decorations. Great decorations and ambiance. This place is amazing especially in the summer time to grab a drink from the bar and sit next to the lake. They have a bar and a food truck with a lot of options. You can also rent a canoe or a kayaks an enjoy a day in the water. If you have your own you, they have some spots on the side to park your own canoe or kayak. Great place for families and kids. Parking is big but since it gets full so is better to come early.“
“The old man is a grump lol but he's good at remembering you and what you like, which is great service in my book because you build a relationship that way. Plus, his current employee Vicky is really nice and balances him out. I am picky with food but love the meatloaf, fried pork loin (white gravy is the best), quesadillas, and potato day (Thursday) is the best. I haven't been going lately to save money but won't miss potato day!Vegetarian options: Potato day and when he serves quesadillas, you can ask it without chicken. Plus he sells white rice and black beans, mac and cheese, soup“
“Had an amazing first time at Maya cafè! Took my mom for a birthday lunch for our first times & everything was incredible!! The space is beautiful with lots of art to look at. The menu is wonderful & everything was fresh. I ordered the Steak tacos & they were fabulous! Make sure to ask for a side of the cilantro dip, it was my favorite! & the corn dip ???? the owner gave my mom a slice of key lime pie & it was easily the best key lime pie i’ve ever had! I told them I would be back to buy an entire pie & i wasn’t kidding!! Don’t think twice, visit today!“

Definitely a better choice compared to a lot of the other restaurants in the food court.Vegetarian options: There’s a small cooler at the front that provides a small variety but still great.Dietary restrictions: They definitely serve most kinds meat but also they have salads and wellness shots, and some bakery goods too.Parking: The location is in Oviedo mall, parking is never a problem, and it’s on the corner right under the movie theater.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the food, play around in the seating area, and there’s some sweet treats they for sure would love. “I dined in here and had breakfast. It was good, but the grits were a little dry. Everything else was delicious. They have a large dining area with booths as well as tables. There is also outside seating and a large bar serving alcoholic drinks at breakfast, and dining at the bar. My server was awesome ? and took good care of us. Overall great dining experience, I'll check back to check the grits again. Maybe we can get to five stars across the board!“
