“Was is desperate need of a real new york style pastrami sandwich, so decided to make the 45 minute drive from Daytona to Longwood as there is no real deli in Daytona beach. Pickles is good not great but pretty good. I would put the pastrami and corned beef on par with Too Jays. The place is pretty cool inside with a full liquor bar. They also serve pizza and a myriad of other subs and desserts, there's something for everyone. It's a far drive so not sure I'd go back, but I would stop again if I was in the area.“
“Bacon cheeseburger with onion rings & coleslaw. This burger was so succulent. Cooked to perfection! Onion rings were nothing special, but that burger! Can't wait to try breakfast. P.J. was my server, she knew everyone's name she was serving. Shook my hand and welcomed me in with a lot of information.“
“I dined in here and had breakfast. It was good, but the grits were a little dry. Everything else was delicious. They have a large dining area with booths as well as tables. There is also outside seating and a large bar serving alcoholic drinks at breakfast, and dining at the bar. My server was awesome ? and took good care of us. Overall great dining experience, I'll check back to check the grits again. Maybe we can get to five stars across the board!“

“Many places do breakfast, however, in a post covid environment when good products and good service are hard to find they hit a home run. Breakfast is not just breakfast! My scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection, my home fries were just the right texture, and their Country Fried Steak is the bomb. And the prices were not overinflated like many places these days. One of Longwood's fine local restaurants.“
“Family place and fun for our kids once a month . Always have adoption for greyhounds in the building. Video games , cheese fries ,nachos , & cheap beer while the wife & I bet a few races . They have a sit down dining restaraunt that has good food as well if you don't want to sit in bleachers or sit outside. Plenty of parking . Admission is cheap.“
“I have passed Hurricanes a million times but I've never stopped in. A friend suggested we have dinner there. 5 of us showed up around 6 and we were able to find a booth. A quick review of the menu and we got down to business. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and our meals. The ice tea was good. I asked for lemons and more ice which was quickly brought to the table. The fried pickles were really good. The coating was good and the dipping sauce was really yummy. I ordered the friend shrimp and my husband ordered the coconut fish tacos. We also ordered medium wings to try. All we're home runs. My shrimp were really fresh, large and the coating seemed to be their own. I got the Old Bay Kettle Chips. Now I am a Maryland girl and would say the Old Bay Kettle Chips were a big two thumbs up. I also got the cole slaw which I tried one small bite but was to full to eat. It was good, not KFC good but solid. The wings were wet, hot and really tasty. I would definitely order them again. I am disappointed I haven't gone to Hurricanes before. This is definitely a place I will put in my rotation. It's small inside but they kept the food coming at a good pace, our drinks remained full but I never felt rushed. The wait staff and kitchen have this down to a science.“
“My husband and I enjoy the wonderful karaoke of Katie Joyce on Sunday and Monday nights. Sunday is better because karaoke begins at 7:30 and ends at 11:30; but Monday's new 8:30-12:30 hours make it too late. Also, the lights are uncomfortably harsh and bright in order accommodate a weekly card game. These issues may effect our decision visit on Monday's.Otherwise, this is a fun, friendly place; good service and decent food. Great holiday specials and events, too!“
“This is my 3rd time here. 1st time was a to-go order, second time a dine in and now another to-go order. Each time I have ordered something different and the food has always been excellent, but the service is even better. Everyone is polite and quick, the restaurant is clean, and I can customize my order easily. The prices are also very reasonable. I love trying food from new and different cultures and they don’t disappoint here.“
“I've been coming here for years. Servers always try to do their best, though occasionally there aren't enough of them staffed on busy nights. The atmosphere can be a little loud at times and parking can be tough. Food is always good. The great service and strong drinks are what keep me coming back.“
“1st time here after driving by numerous times. The Breakfast is simply Awesome! We tried the loaded all meat & cheese omelette - Yummy & Filling - chicken fried steak was tender & crispy along with perfectly prepared over easy eggs, the English muffins & rye toast were delicious. We took a loaded pancake order to go & the pancakes were Huge along with all the fresh fruit, large serving of syrup with whipped butter. Our server Jackie was very Friendly, Helpful & always there if we needed something. Fun place with excellent food & Very Friendly Staff. “Wow! This place is a gem. The baked goods are out of this world. Particularly, the cheddar jalepeno biscuit is to die for! Everything on the menu is pretty good, but the bake goods is the sweet spot! Lol Try this place out, you wont be disappointed.“
