We just had a retirement party in the gallery last night. Everything was fabulous! The venue was awesome, the food amazing and the service over the top!! The family and staff all work hard to make sure you are happy throughout the process and it was very easy to plan. Thank you Wekiva Island for an awesome event!
Great views, bring your bathing suits, has separate bar from food "truck", nice tables, has many rentals, cabanas, paddle boards etc. Fun place for families or singles. Español and English speaking people. Convenient restrooms, loved the food, but a bit pricey....but what isn't? I loved the chicken philly....lots of chicken, cheese, mushrooms and onions. YUMMY!

I've been coming to this launch spot since my childhood in the '70s, and it's always been a go-to for locals looking to paddle or just chill. Over the years, it's changed a lot, but it remains a fantastic place to start your canoe or kayak adventure on the Wekiva River. It’s also a perfect spot to just hang out and soak in the natural vibe.
