“I personally love mom n pops restaurants and if you’re in the area , you should try this one. Cute and small but the food is made fresh and tasty. I got a tripleta sandwich (freshly pressed) filled plus a big portion. I also got a papaya batido that was rather tasty! Would come back !!“

The outdoor seating was nicely sheltered from busy Colonial Dr. Wish parking were better, but that's just a problem in that area. “This is the a little hidden gem for Cuban food. They have great press sandwiches, and if you need to pick up for the day, their espresso is Outstanding, if you’re in the downtown area, make sure you check them out. You won’t be disappointed they won’t let you leave disappointed.“

All joined by a delicious cafe con leche. If you get the chance, you should really come by. Everything was delicious and the garlicky salty oil the tostones are dipped in make for just the right touch of savory flavor to an often bland side dish.“

“Hello a few weeks ago I went to Alex's Cuban Cafe which I just happened to notice in a small strip mall all the way to the right corner. I was intrigued about them as good Cuban food, done right without breaking your wallet is hard to find. I was impressed to find the Cuban food actually tasted like real Cuban food, in a clean and cozy environment. I asked Alex's wife Missy or Misty? how long had they been there and she said 24 years! Wow they are doing it right, stop by you will be impressed with not only the quality of food but how much they give you without it being so expensive, and of course great service give them a try you won't be disappointed!“
