“Food was ready as soon as I walked in the store. Ordered online and got a free funnel cake. Doesn't taste like what I remember, but it was a nice try. The fried pickles were way overcooked. But I love the coke machine with all the selections to customize your drink.“

Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937 You 4 Stars (chain restaurant review) Instead of going for a quick Burger or Taco, why not mix it up a bit and head over to your local KKC and change up the routine? Yes, I said KKC, not KFC. The one my random name generator directed me to in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is 1 of over 2,700 locations across 47 of these United States and some in Malaysia and American Samoa, mainly in convenience stores and gas stations. This one beachside is super clean and, well, beachside. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by Ryan. He is the counter specialist and cook as well. Ryan has a fetching personality and was exceedingly helpful as we placed our order. I ordered some Honey Biscuits, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish and some Cajun Chicken Tenders. Ryan excused himself to the kitchen while we sat and snapped a few pictures of the place. As I said, it is clean enough to pass any white glove test. I thought it would be nice if the tables had a virginal to pass the time when Ryan indicated our order was up. If a place is advertising hand-breaded chicken, their biscuits better not be the Sysco plug-n-play variety and these weren't. They were obviously made to order and outstanding on the palate. Baked to a perfect golden brown, these were warm, flaky and drizzled in honey. I would rate the biscuits at 4.5 Stars and these are worth the trip all by themselves. They would also make a great after-school/work/errand snack. Next, I took a sampling of the Fried Shrimp. This was nothing to write home about but nothing to scoff at either. The shrimp were of a good size and deep fried to a pleasing color, just missing a little "oomph" to push them over a slightly above-average rating of 3 Stars. Moving on, I set my peepers on the Fried Fish. If the Fried Shrimp was slightly above average, the Fried Fish was slightly below. The Fish had an ever so light fishy taste and as we all know, it shouldn't. The Fried Fish, by itself, would have a meager 2-star rating. This brings me to the final item in my order, the Cajun Chicken Tenders. I went with the 6 PCs, which is a good thing I did as they weren't long for the table! How could you go wrong with hand-breaded breast tenders in a savory coating with tasty dipping sauces? The Tenders were deep fried to a model color and doneness that would make Gordon Ramsay say, "Now, that's an Effin' chicken tender!" If I were just rating the Tenders, this would be a 4.5 Star review all day, every day. As it is, I'm sticking with the 4 Star until they get fresher fish. “The restaurant was extremely busy. I ordered some items that needed 30 min of wait time. 30 minutes later the front counter server came out with my food. She was super nice and had our complete order. I missed her name, but a "thank you" shout out to the blonde at the front counter!“
“It's a drive thru for us, so atmosphere, eh. BUT, best dinner below $30 with great chicken, mashed and BEST COLESLAW around. It takes just like my Mom used to make. Sometimes I go there just for that (like at Thanksgiving) so I don't have to make it. I couldn't make it that well. And cashiers always friendly.“
“I went in for dinner with my husband and it was very busy and they had a lot of new people in and they were doing their absolute best. They always kept a positive attitude. Even when customers were being very rude to them. Janette, one of the managers in training. Was very kind and very understanding to ushe definitely made a big impact on us when we went and would definitely go back because of her.“
“While the food isn't entirely bad, I just believe this place in particular is way overpriced. Overpriced. It's just unfortunate but such as the world we live in currently. I do recommend the chicken, pork and steak combo though. I have to admit, it is pretty Good!“
“They have gotten alot better. Food is fresh now. The tables usually need to be cleaned. They sometimes forget drinks. Overall I keep eating there. It's good enough for repeat visits. They have good deals and different combos on their app. Even the garlic parmesean wings were spicy for me.“

“Best catfish in the area, no contest. The chicken is also great. Get a side of the fried mushrooms and horseradish sauce. You'll thank me. Yes, it's inside a gas station...in a great area, run by great people. Don't miss it.“
