“The staff was polite, attentive, and actually all smiling while workng. Which is rare to see these days. I ordered a Castro Fidel dinner with a Mojito, it was magically delicious. I you have to take some time and look around at the decorations, it's like a time capsule of the owners life with that Cuban touch. I can’t wait to go back to try a few other dishes!“
“This is the best Cuban food I have ever had. We love coming here. The food is always fresh and everyone so friendly. It can get crowded and loud but I will take that for the great food and friendly faces any day. Everything I’ve had so far has been the absolute best!“
“MOUTHWATERING SABOR!! The food was absolutely amazing. Perfectly seasoned, did not need any salt or pepper from me.. which is rare. I ordered the Pechuga a la Plancha and it did not disappoint.Being Hispanic and growing up around such food, a lot of restaurants in Melbourne really miss the mark when it comes to preparing delicious food that tastes like it comes straight out of your mama’s kitchen.Nini’s hit the bullseye. To start - the chicken was thinly sliced but made up for its thin cut with massive size. Despite that thin cut, it was juicy, mouthwatering, and FLAVORFUL!! No skimping on onions or lime..Served with a side of black beans chock full of bacon grease (I believe) and seasonings bringing back nostalgic memories of my mom’s cooking.. I knew I was in the right place. The rice is nothing to write home about of course, but that’s because it’s made to be eaten with the delicious black beans! What IS worth writing home about, however, is their homemade SOFRITO. Served with my chicken and my boyfriend’s skewers, this sauce is like crack. Just try it!!Onto my 4 stars for service, we came on a Thursday night and the restaurant was almost at capacity. I don’t think they staffed properly for this because there was only 2 servers rotating hostess duties. Due to that, service was a bit slow but very friendly nonetheless. We were never neglected.Atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, not sure if I came on a bad day but the bathroom inside was a little smelly. Whether that be from the chemicals used to clean it or some sewage issue, but I seemed to be the only one bothered by it. Curse my sensitive nose! All in all, do not let my 4 stars for service and atmosphere prevent you from going. It’s very possible I just came on a bad day. The FOOD is what you’re coming for. And that is the crowning jewel of reasons why I will be returning to Nini’s.“
“!BEST CUBAN SANDWICH!My Dad took me out for lunch here and we split their cuban pressed sandwich, I also got a REAL Cuban coffee. I can't rave enough about that Cuban sandwich. The coffee was perfect. The fresh pork, ham and the cup of hot sauce provided was awesome! I added a little extra of Blue Agave Sriracha I had and a bit of Yellow mustard.Insanely delicious! If you're craving great Cuban food, this place is definetely worth the trip!Parking: It's a fairly small shop, and parking isn't terrible if not too busy.“
“Hemingway's Tavern is always a good experience. We always enjoy the decorations and lively atmosphere, but be warned it can get quite noisy. For those with noise sensitivity, I suggest to sit outside or find another restaurant. Shout out to our server, Sai: he was easy going and attentive. We started with the Smoked Fish Dip, a favorite, and pairs nicely with the locally brewed beer, Intracoastal Dragon Point. I had the Key West Bowl with pulled pork. Everything was delicious. My husband decided for the Big Game burger, which was perfectly grilled, but the most impressive dish was my mom's. She ordered the Osso Bucco. It was beautifully plated, the pork was fork tender and delicious. The mashed potato and veggies rounded out the meal perfectly. It was a very generous serving, easily feeding 2 people. It was pricey, $32, but worth it and we had left-overs for another meal. We'll definitely dine here again. The food and service has been consistently good. It can get quite busy; we arrived just before 5 and we were seated right away, but within the hour it was filling up quickly.“
“Beautifully crafted cuban sandwiches, made by some beautiful cuban woman.the pork in my sandwich was perfectly moist, and seasoned just right.they also have some tasty pastries.they are inside gas station, with some tables out front.worth the stop.“
“Don’t let the look fool you, this Gas station has the best cheese pastries I’ve ever had in my lifetime thus far… also their breakfast sandwiches is amazing. I’m definitely going to miss coming here. They’ve made my vacation memorable.#“
“Absolutely love this place!!! Every time we come here no matter how busy the food is Always on point!!!!! The appetizers are all delicious! The mojitos are really great! I’m a huge fan of the pork with yellow rice and black beans! My husband absolutely loves the chimichurri steak!!!! This is definitely a go to spot!“
“the food is great. very fresh made. the empanadas very crunchy fresh made. i recommend start with a cuban sandwich and a cortadito. then a guava empanada. the hall family gets something and it was just like $50 and some change. definitely will be my place to grab a bite before i go to the beach.“
