“The reviews hyped this place up a lot. Nothing was bad, but most of the food was just good, not great. Nice people, good prices. Ribs were fine but dry. Chicken was a little bland. Brisket was better. Mac n cheese was OK, fries good. Texas toast was amazing.“

The grilled corn with crema and parmesan was a treat. Perfectly paired. Good Ceasar salad. Wings were a great starter (I know I am out of order but I'm coming down from a sugar high so work with me here) with really good Blue Cheese dressing. Yum.My guest had the Shrimp & Lobster chowder with grilled shrimp, which she really liked. Dessert was Strawberry Shortcake which was excellent. “Birthday celebration with the fam. Waitress Stephanie was great, there was no wait when we walked in . Service was prompt . Food was excellent as Sonny's food is . What I had, the big deal . Sandwich and two sides was more than enough for me , youngest had all you can eat turkey with two sides , oldest had brisket dinner with two sides . Fun was had by all , they came out singing happy birthday with banana pudding which they are famous for(understandably so if you kno anything about southern cooking) Redneck Egg Rolls were ah-mazing as usual, the BEST coleslaw.“

It seems that everywhere I go, it’s almost impossible to sample their menu without just one thing being a little off. I literally sampled Cryderman’s ENTIRE menu today and everything was on point! Cryderman’s goes down in my books as hands down favorite bbq in the country. These guys are so passionate about their craft. If you come to Cocoa FL and don’t visit Crydermans BBQ, then you really messed up! This brisket. Wow.“

“We recently moved to Rockledge, and we were meaning to try this place, because, often, the little, locally-owned, off-the-beaten-path places like this are great. Definitely needed a place to go for BBQ besides the cheaper, local chain places and the hyper-expensive, snooty BBQ joints. This place fits the bill. Now, right up front...you need to call ahead, because the gentleman running this place doesn't offer in-house dining or walk-in service right now due to the pandemic; you call ahead and then drive-thru to pick it up. This works because you're on the cusp of the Rockledge-Cocoa city lines, and the neighborhood is, well, a little questionable. The food, to me, is better than the chains and maybe slightly below the really expensive places from where you can get BBQ. I was surprised that they offer fried okra, ribs, and great pulled pork. And mac-and-cheese. Give Mister a try! The food is very tasty and a good value for the price.“
