“I can't say enough great things about Commelfo. From the first time I went there a few years ago with friends I was enamored with the food, cocktails and atmosphere. They have not disappointed since! I live 5 minutes away and it has become my local go to for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch and Dinner. There is nothing there I have had that isn't delicious. Their private wine dinners and parties are amazing... from the Mob Party to the Retro Party! I am already planning my costume for this year's retro party on 10/27/24... can't wait! The staff there is wonderful!”

“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.”

Now Let’s talk about the turtle cheesecake… it was the best I’ve had from anywhere. They said key lime pie is even better. We will find out before we leave Destin. Next order will be the cinnamon rolls which they typically run out early. Wish we knew about this little gem several weeks ago but we still have 10 more days and will return.”

We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. “I was visiting friends who live in Santa Rosa and we came to the wine bar on two different afternoons. First time we sat at the bar and had a few glasses of wine. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff friendly.

We were shopping a few days later and we stopped in again and had some Sauvignon Blanc and the lunch salmon special. Which was very good! But we really enjoyed speaking with Savannah who was bartending that day! She was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed it!

“LOVE IT HERE 10/10We came here during our Spring Break & had an amazing experience with our family of 3. The rooftop is beautiful & open to the public for those who are not staying at the Hotel Eiffel. There is Valet Parking out front which was super convenient. I believe the fee is $35 but can be comped depending if you have a receipt from the rooftop. the experience was great, & I would definitely return regardless of the price point.We ordered the frozen strawberry daiquiri & tres amigos + a crab quesdillaa, all were great & flavorful. The drinks & food average around$20 per item which is average for the places in Destin.What made me inclined to leave this stellar review is the service we received. all the staff at the bar were friendly & so helpful!! After forgetting my hair clip in the car, I had asked for a rubber band & was given a hair tie, which was a lifesaver as I wanted to join my son in the pool without getting my hair wet. It was a small gesture but meant the world to me. Thank you!!”

“Stopped in for a break from shopping to discover they offer “All Day Every Day Specials” at the bar. We ordered the crab wontons, steamed pork dumplings and the Pink Lotus Cosmo and Ha-Chi 5251 Pilsner from the daily specials. I also ordered a cup of wonton soup from the regular menu.

Everything was delicious with a nice presentation. Our favorite was the steamed pork dumplings and the Cosmo. Both were very good and I highly recommend.”

This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!”

“We (family of 8) came right at close on 7/28/24. The closing crew was PHENOMENAL. They made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to make our last day of vacation amazing. I wish I lived here so I could give them more of my business but I HIGHLY recommend the stop. We got a bit of everything and the flavors were all really good. Fudge Sunday was filling and looked very scrumptious. Salted caramel was the big hit of the night.”

“Yesterday was my first time trying Chick-fil-A, and I was eager to see what the hype was about. Visiting from Canada, we don’t have many locations up north, so I was excited to experience it firsthand. We went to the Destin Miramar location, and not only was the food beyond my expectations, but the service was absolutely outstanding.

Jakob, the employee at the cash register, went above and beyond to make my first visit special. From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly welcoming and eager to ensure we had a great experience. He offered several fantastic recommendations, all of which we decided to try and were thoroughly impressed by. His knowledge of the menu was great, and his enthusiasm was awesome. Jakob’s friendly and personable attitude made a lasting impression, and it's rare to encounter such genuine customer service.

It’s clear that Jakob takes great pride in his work, and it truly made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely remember my first Chick-fil-A experience, and I can’t wait to return.
