Be sure to order the extra large if you want your pizza to be the normal large size because one time I accidentally ordered the large and it was not the size I expected it to be. The antipasto salad is also really yummy.!?“

“The atmosphere is a great place to start. Hip and stylish yet cozy and friendly. The menu is aesthetically pleasing and contains uniquely named items. The item of choice for me was My Boy Bleu with a side of their Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The chicken was tender, as good chicken should be. I'd highly recommend Love Bird to anyone looking for something out of the norm.“

Took care of the issue with grace and pride, as always, if there's ever an issue. Jenn A has come to know a little about my health issues, so she can better understand why I can be, a little bit more picky about things, but she doesn't mind, were others seem to find this as an annoying. I don't mean to be, I just can't help it. My body will only allow me to eat at certain times. Jenn A has come to completely understand this. She's a 5 star server. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“My family and I ate here last night (2/22/24) for the first time and we were quite pleased. They had a special going on for $15 large pizzas and $10 meatball sliders. We got both specials, as well as a kids pizza, a house salad, and lavash bread.The food was all really good.Our server, Racheal, was fantastic. She was super friendly, quick, held good conversation with us, and was able to promptly answer all of our questions as well as make appropriate suggestions when we asked.The only reason I'm dropping 1 star is because of the 3% "Service Charge" on my check.While it wasn't blatantly labeled as a credit card surcharge, that is what it was. That is always what it is. And frankly, it's federally illegal to surcharge a debit card under the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.Additionally, if a business is going to surcharge a card (which again, illegal for debit cards, but not for credit cards) they are mandated to post clear signage upon entry of the establishment that a surcharge will be added to the bill if paying via card. I did not see such signage at KC's (although, to be fair, I may have missed it)I understand that running a small business is tough, I also understand that merchant processors charge the business to swipe both debit and credit cards. Typically that swipe percentage is aroun 2.5% + $0.10 transaction fee.My qualm is that is simply the cost of doing business in today's world. Restaurants in general seem to be the only business that regularly engages in this practice. I don't pay an extra 3% at the grocery store, convenience store, department store, or really any other store.In my view, the cost that the business incurs for processing debit and credit cards should be baked into the prices of the goods they sell, not passed off to the customer as an additional fee. If the business is not making enough margins on their menu prices, then raise the menu prices.I get nickel and dime'd enough on my other bills (Looking at you TECO)Will we eat here again? Yes, absolutely. The food was good and the service was great. But my point stands.“

“Now that I discovered this true gem, I can't possibly visit the area and not make it a point to stop here. This seafood restaurant is one of my true favorites in all my travels. I remember the first time I came here less than a year ago and when I noticed that they actually bring you coleslaw and biscuits I thought to myself well if it's free it can't be that great. I couldn't have been more wrong. The coleslaw is by far the best. So much so that I preferred what felt like 5 pounds of it to go. The hush puppies and the sweet corn fritters are a great start to any meal as well as the biscuits and coleslaw. I never learn my lesson about filling up too much before the entree and that's ok.. I got to enjoy two meals out of this visit. Also highly recommend the desserts. Both times I've visited here I made it a point to get a dessert to go. The carrot cake and the chocolate cake are amazing! Service here is amazing. Everyone hustles to deliver and get you fed quickly. Great servers with great hospitality and personalities. I just can't get enough of this place!“

“This place is cool and chill and full of good vibes. Super friendly staff. There's a line but it moves quickly. If you try the quesito I promise you, it will trigger a religious experience. It was amazing and I'm so sad I don't live in Lakeland so I could eat this for breakfast every day. SO GOOD.“

“Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“My fiancé said the Ramen was full of flavor and there seemed to be an ample amount of "toppings" and noodles. I tried the mango tango roll, spicy conch, and fried scallop roll. All 3 were great. Scallop one was my favorite. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is relaxed. We definitely will be back to try more!!“

“We were in town for an event and Abuelo's was recommended. One of the best meals I have had and customer service was exceptional. The El Jefe margarita is top notch and our waitress, along with the bartender, did an amazing job with recommendations based on what we told them we preferred. “Today was my first time trying Mister Fish. I got a small fish sandwich basket and that was more than enough food for me. The prices are super reasonable and, after a 30 minute drive back home, everything was delicious!! It was one of the best I've had. Not greasy but very crispy. Even the fries... well, yum! This meal tonight was no exception.I would first like to compliment our lovely server Cynthia on her excellent service. She was kind, friendly, and made sure to go over the specials. She recommended several items, and was always checking up on our table to make sure our water and beverages were refilled. She’s been at this location for over a decade and is a consummate professional through and through. Working in the hospitality industry is not easy like many people think. My hope is that management sees how amazing she is at her craft and is used as an example of How to be a great Server for all those new to this industry. Give this woman a huge raise as she’s one reason this location is loved by the community.The food also has always been consistently delicious with new and changing special both food and cocktails. My drink was so good and refreshing as was the whole table. I ordered the Butterfish special along with Bang Bang shrimp. Daughter got the salmon, and hubs got the fillet with lobster tail. Alll were hot and delicious. Chef’s kiss ?This has been one of my favorite chain restaurants and still holds a place in my tummy for when I want seafood but don’t want to drive an hour away. Or when I’m craving a well made cocktail and those times when I have to have BB Shrimp.Props to the line cooks for preparing our meals on which we all enjoyed, the bartender who knows how to craft a cocktail and to Cynthia who is a huge asset to the restaurant with her professionalism and friendly nature.Thanks for the heat experience again.“

“Food is always good but the last few visits our server had issues. Only two other tables seated. Mistakes with simple order, no drink refills, had to ask for take out containers and check, didn’t leave a pen to sign credit card slips. This was not a new server, as we’ve had him before last year. So bottom line, great food but don’t eat here if you’re in a hurry even if they are not busy.“
