“Finally made it to Funnel Feasts (with Feasts of Persia at Union Hall)! I chose the s’more funnel cake and it was delicious. The staff and customer service were absolutely incredible. They would’ve been great for a restaurant but for a food truck they were really outstanding. They took the time to explain their menu to us and give recommendations. They even came out to check on things after we had been eating for a while. Everything tasted fresh and ingredients were good quality. I think the prices were very fair too. Definitely recommend checking them out if you get the opportunity!“

“The atmosphere is a great place to start. Hip and stylish yet cozy and friendly. The menu is aesthetically pleasing and contains uniquely named items. The item of choice for me was My Boy Bleu with a side of their Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The chicken was tender, as good chicken should be. “I've been coming here for a few years and these are consistently the best tacos in the city.The light fry they do on the tortillas and the grilled onions really set these over the top in terms of flavor and texture. Very rich salsas with a moderate spice, which are so good I use them for other stuff too (like chicken wings or to add some spice to a soup) if I have extra. Sometimes they'll throw in a roasted pepper or two with the order (I believe they're serrano?) which is always a nice treat.Service is always very friendly and prompt. Great overall experience, I couldn't recommend this place enough.“

“Strong recommendation for Concord Coffee. They have seasonal selections and a simple menu. Laid back atmosphere. I will be back when in town. I Would visit this place over Starbucks anyday. I had the PB&J overnight oats. It was simple tasty and just right. My coffee was the Pistachio Rose Latte and it was very good. We came on a peaceful Sunday morning. If you haven't been here yet, you should give it a try.“

“I had what may have been one of the best sandwiches in my life today, and absolutely the best sandwich I've ever had in lakeland, at the Black and Brew on Lake Morton. I got the club and took the chance of substituting gluten-free bread, which I usually don't like at all. But it really worked with the sandwich, and there was just such an explosion of other flavors that it's hard to describe. “Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“Holy crab cake! I decided to give this food truck a go at the Johns Pass Seafood Festival and glad I did. The crab cake was huge and cooked perfectly. Tons of flavor. I don't ever say "it's the best of [blank] I've ever had but this one deserves the award for crab cakes. Will make the effort to search their truck out in the future!“

The El Jefe margarita is top notch and our waitress, along with the bartender, did an amazing job with recommendations based on what we told them we preferred. “The name lets you know what to expect. The beer selection was okay. I opted for the green 'gansett for St Patrick's day. A little heavy on the green. Second beer was an IPA. Both had massive heads. Service was decent, Delaney was there every time we needed her. We each ordered a wrap: Barbie for her, mahi for me. The mahi wrap was on the small side. My small order of fries, however, was enormous. And tasty. It's a sports bar, so decor consists of TVs tuned to baseball, golf, basketball, etc. All in all, a pretty good choice and only 0.3 miles from our hotel.“

“My family and I ate here tonight. I drove by a few times and didn't get that it wasn't a fusion restaurant (because I'm bad at geography ?) So once I thought to check the menu out, we had to check it out. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My oldest really wanted sopa de pollo, so that's why we went tonight and it got 5 stars from her. It's a good portion for an adult, or for a kid to bring some home. My toddler was happy to be able to order a cheeseburger from the kids menu, it was a good sized burger even for an older child (she ate her fries and brought the burger home) My husband got "almuerzo del cubano" it was good and fun to see on a menu (rice and fried eggs was a go-to meal for me as a picky kid) it came with platanos, but neither of us noticed the meal didnt include beans and kinda wished it did (we could have ordered them ala carte) my steak sandwich was good. I know costs on everything are going up but I do feel like the prices/vs portion sizes on the entrees specifically is a little high. I don't want that to make my entire review sound like a complaint because we will be back (I don't like making soup ?), and everything was lovely, just a smidge pricier than anticipated“

“Their unique salad is THE best!! They make potato salad and that is buried under the lettuce. It is a great addition to a salad. Plus their other items are also really good.
