“Best biscuits and gravy ive had in fort myers. The bananas foster french toast special was a unique take on french toast. There was a layer inside the french toast that was possibly a cream cheese filling but i cant say for certain, either way super unique, super sugary, super good.“
“Point 57 Kitchen & Cocktails is a trendy and upscale restaurant offering a unique dining experience with creative dishes and handcrafted cocktails. The menu features a fusion of flavors, blending classic American cuisine with international influences. With its stylish ambiance and attentive service, it's an ideal spot for special occasions or casual gatherings. While prices may be higher compared to other restaurants, the quality of food and drinks justifies the cost. Overall, Point 57 delivers a memorable culinary journey with its innovative dishes and carefully crafted cocktails.“
“The Fort Myers mystery train was a one-of-a-kind experience! Even though the bridge is still down, we're taken to the very edge of the water to have dinner which was really nice. The food overall was quite good (especially the prime rib), but would suggest (1) a better cheese with the crackers and grapes and (2) larger portions of the very small salad and green beans. Wide cocktail and beer/wine selection. Service was pretty good if a bit slow at times.Aside from dinner, I was surprised at how clean the train car and restroom were. I was fairly comfortable for the duration for the three-and-a-half hour experience. I was a little disappointed by the actual murder mystery story, but the acting was very good, especially by the Reverend and the Duchess.Do keep in mind that there are four seats per table, so if you go as a couple you'll be seated with strangers.Overall, this was a really good experience and one I'd recommend to visitors and southwest Floridians alike. I'd love to get back on this train once they've moved on to the next mystery and certainly when the bridge across the river has reopened.“
“Although it's been years since I've been, I still have dreams of this place. If you like amazing food, innovative menu's that aren't crazy complicated, and supporting small businesses, I highly recommend them. I wish the family of Fat Katz Sports Bistro all my love, it was a pleasure working with you back when your doors opened, and it makes me so happy to see you still living the dream! For those looking for food like none other in the area, check this place out. My only words of warning is this place is popping and the food is fresh so please be patient with waiting times! For those looking for employment in the kitchen (if they are still hiring) It's a lot of hard work but if you work with the boss as a team I promise the day fly's by fast and you will learn so much to bring with you for your future years cooking.“
“Wow! The service was amazing (everyone checking on you, not annoying, just right and wonderful attitudes), the food and beverage offerings are top notch and they taste great to boot! What a gem! I sat inside and they mentioned a lounge. While I sat in the main dining room, checked out the lounge after and also had amazing vibes. Would go out of my way for a visit.“
“This is a gem of a tavern tucked away in Ft. Myers historic downtown. The simple, dark interior does little justice to the friendly staff, delicious dishes and strong draft menu. This is a perfect respite for the hot Florida sun. The patio searing is absolutely charming as well. The wings, Cuban sandwich and the special Reuben tater tots (served like a sushi roll) were all excellent!“
“What a great place for the family to hang out. Everyone had a great time. One thing though. The chicken tenders needed a new breading. Didn't seem like it was dredged in egg batter so the breading wasn't really sticking on the chicken. The flavor of the breading was not very tasty either. Maybe oil was old. Both parties took the tenders to go. Might need to revisit a new breading. Otherwise we will definitely return.“
“Great place for a great breakfast! Very close to a busy street. However, don't let that stop you from choosing this place for a great breakfast, you can always sit indoors! Busy place however people move thru quickly. Staff are very welcoming and friendly!! French Toast wit fruit was yummy!!!“
“I had lunch here twice in the last week. You would totally pass this place up by looking at the outside, Hurricane Ian did some damage to their awning and they have a tarp over it. But DON'T pass by, they have amazing food. First lunch I got the special which was 3 tacos, beef, chicken and grouper. Excellent. Second time the table got the grouper bites as an appetizer however for one person it would be a meal, soooo good. I got a hamburger as my meal. Excellent flavor. As I said don't pass this place by for lunch or dinner. Prices are extremely reasonable.“
“On our vacation in Cape Coral, we visited the ‘High Tide Social House’, a restaurant with a beautiful ambiance. The outdoor terrace offers a stunning view of the harbor and truly embodies the vacation vibe. The service was excellent and the dishes were very tasty, offering something for everyone’s palate. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food was superb. The portions are American-sized, so you’ll definitely leave feeling full and maybe even have leftovers for the next day. Eating pizza in America might seem odd for a European, but my son wanted one, and I must say, it was really good. It had a crispy base and wasn’t the typical ‘American’ kind of pizza - you could really say it was an Italian pizza. The burgers and salads were delicious too. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“Went on St Patricks Day and had the key lime fish which was good. Price was also good, and the only reason why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere thru no fault of Mels Diner was that it was extremely crowded. Alot or people and the parking lot was full. Otherwise I was satisfied and would recomend going there when its less crowded.“
“What a fun place. My hubby and I come here and the atmosphere is always fun and food is so good. We got our favorite: Brat, chips and pop. On the weekends they have musical entertainment. This time there was a lovely lady with a beautiful voice along with backup music. Our brats were perfect. They literally went pop on our mouths. It comes with their signature chili sauce, sauerkraut, onions and mustard. We just love this place. Here, conserve water; drink beer. Make sure to take a break shopping and chill out with good food and good people.“
“They take reservations which is a big plus for me. Table was ready when promised, and they quickly accommodated two extra patrons for our party. Server was excellent and food was delicious. The crab guacamole was really good, as we my fish tacos and the grouper berry salad i tried.“
“We went for lunch. Perfect timing! Not loud, not crowded. Enjoyed the service and the food. It was delicious Wine amazing as always. Our waiter Brett. Was very attentive. We are club members and always go in the evening. Even though it gets loud, we enjoy ourselves however, lunchtime was a great time to go not loud. It was a time to enjoy the real Cooper's Hawk ambience. We were into our moment and I forgot to take pictures.“
“Stop here for good breakfast and good people. I've been here more times than I can count. Always for breakfast because it's the only time I'm in the area, but if the rest of the menu is as good as breakfast, it's definitely worth a try. The country fried steak is real steak with a well seasoned crust, not a frozen patty that you can cut with a fork like most places. The breakfast potatoes look like quartered red potatoes, well seasoned and cooked with onions. The French toast is actual French bread. The food is always fresh and good quality for a decent price. I highly reccomend the country fried steak and the hungry man special. This place is a little hole in the wall type place that has no business being as good as it is. The waitresses are always friendly and it seems like almost everyone eating here is a regular. Not a lot of seating, but I've never had a problem getting a table. They seem to do a pretty bustling delivery and takeout service as well. Give them a try for good comfort food, with friendly people, and good prices.“
“This last November, I got married and The standard Restaurant catered my event. We were supposed to have the wedding and the reception at Sabal Springs clubhouse but about a week before the clubhouse had to close due to unforeseen circumstances. Christopher one of the Owners of The standard, reached out to see what all he could do to help! He showed us around to his other restaurants and gave us options we didn’t know were possible and helped us out in ways that we will be forever grateful. We had a week to figure out all the details and Chris helped us with whatever the need was to make sure it was a PERFECT day!! He ended up closing down his restaurant on page field for us to have the reception there even though the clubhouse closing had nothing to do with his restaurant. We had the ceremony at the clubhouse and reception at his restaurant. Chris and Red(the chef) even went above and beyond that when my cake I bought from a different bakery came out to be a total mess, they knew we were crunched for time and they went out of their way to make my cake look beautiful! It turned out to be a wonderful event and I am so thankful for Chris to come to the rescue like that! 15/10 the food was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful and they even let us decorate their back meeting room for a photo area for the guests. All of it was a wonderful experience and I will be going back as a customer for years to come! Thank you so much Chris!!“
“I have been coming here for 4 years. The staff and managers are incredible. I feel at home. Jassen and Kylie are fun, engaging, and really make sure we are taken care of! That is why we will keep coming! Every. Single. Week. I am shocked by some of these lower reviews. Some of you should check “
“Vast variety of brunch entrees, any type egg or omelet, fresh fruit. On the self served line, Eggs Benedict, potatoes, ham, bacon, chipped beef, sausage, gravy and biscuits. I'm sure I forgot something. We did see dead water bugs near the seating on the floorParking: In front of the entrance“
