“Absolutely hands down one of the best meals I’ve had all year. Highly recommend the gnocchi, the raw scallop appetizer, and the tartine appetizer. And for the rest of my life, if someone asked me what I’d want for my last meal, I’d say “give me the gnocchi at Meliora”. I cannot emphasize how much it stood out despite everything else being so good already. On my first bite, I had to close my eyes and stop chewing so that I could comprehend how amazing it tasted and how light the texture was. Throw everything you’ve ever described as “pillowy” in the trash because this gnocchi should be the only thing in the dictionary under that word. While the drinks are pricey and the meal overall was higher than average for a night out, it is 100% worth it. We were swept off our feet.“
“Michael's on East (MOE) is one of the best fine dining establishments in Sarasota and has been in business for nearly 40 years. Ive been a customer for nearly 30 of those 40 years and despite its maturity, MOE is still hot, hopping and a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy great food, wines and service. During its nearly four decades, MOE has been wowing patrons with its fine cuisine, decor, and outstanding service. Don't be surprised if you see actors, comedians and musicians who might be performing at the Van Wezel during the winter season, sitting next to you because the concierge at their hotel recommended MOE as one of the desirable restaurants for a sensational meal, wine and service. MOE is rich in Sarasota heritage and is the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion with that very special guest or guests. It's a delight in every way.“
“Updated 3/30/24 with more photos. We visited my parents in Sarasota and this was our first time at Seasons 52. We loved it! The atmosphere was awesome, the food was great!I love their scallops, they are just perfect along with the risotto. On a more recent visit 3/24/24) they had asparagus with the Scallops instead of the broccoli. My parents love the Salmond salad, but my dad commented that on our most recent trip (3/24/24) that the salmon was a little dry. From 3/24/24, my husband said the lamb was good but a little chewy, he had to chew a lot. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot on either side of the mall.Parking: The Sarasota restaurant is located in a shopping mall, so there’s lots of free parking.“
“First time diner here. Great food, great mix of flavors, and well prepared with large portions. Probably the best Trout Almandine I have ever had. It's may not be as well known as its next door neighbor, but the food and service to us are better at 481 Gourmet. Give it a try.“
“They have a 5 star team and work together flawlessly. Not one employee passed by our table without stopping if it looked like something needed cleared. Fred (our waiter) was quirky, kind, and delightful! Best waiter we had all week! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. 3rd round of mussels this week at other restaurants and Clayton’s was by far the BEST. The Clayton salad is light and the dressing is tasty. The butter they serve with the bread is different than any I’ve tasted and I could eat it with a spoon. The crab cakes were excellent and seared to perfection. The scallops melt in your mouth. We WILL be back.“
“This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants! The food is amazing and they have tons of vegan and gluten free options. Best vegan sushi you can imagine and they have such a great variety of options in general. Shout out to our server Shayne - he was so kind, attentive and pleasant and really made our night. He made excellent recommendations and was really knowledgeable about the menu.“
“Lived in Ohio around Amish country. This location outside of Sarasota is the mirror image of the location in Bellevue Ohio. What a great place!Good was excellent and affordable.Staff was very attentive and friendly.Gift shop employees were very knowledgeable of the company and both areas in Ohio and Sarasota.I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will be back!“
“I took my nephew on a date to this incredible restaurant. We loved the atmosphere and all the lights. The food was the best I’ve had in Sarasota so far. The beef carpaccio was for sure the best I’ve ever had. I have been coming to the area for the last 22 years and I will definitely be back to this incredible restaurant.“
“everything is wonderful ! we had lunch there, ordered the Brussel sprouts(a must) the bao bao buns and the chicken Tikka also a goat cheese pie for dessert. every single thing was perfect ! our server Ethan was great, very attentive and knowledgeable about every item. ! will definitely go back !“
“A nice little cafe with patio seating in downtown Sarasota. The ambiance is very nice with the restaurant's indoor and outdoor seating - you can people watch during the farmers market. Food quality is superb here. The breakfast bowl was delicious in every way. Service was efficient but not the absolute best. Prices are a little bit inflated for the offerings, but typical Sarasota fare nowadays.“
“This place was fantastic. Husband is a meat eater and fish and chips afficianado and declared best fish and chips ever. I am vegetarian and had the buffalo cauliflower tacos. Amazing flavor and presentation. Lots of tables. Quick service. Highly recommend!“
“Well, much of the food at the Yard House is excellent, what we're coming to believe is that they really know how to cook meat properly. The pork chop that I had was the best pork chop that I've ever had in my life and the steak my wife ordered was amongst the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Great service! Absolutely delicious food, and I can't wait to go back and try some of the other things!“
“This was my first time here. Words can’t describe how amazing the Pulled Pork sandwich was. I ordered it with the Pimento Mac and Cheese, which was also out of this world!! I sat at the bar and Stephen was bartending and took great care of me. The service by was top notch. My glass was always full and he was super friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!!! Keep up the great work!! :-)“
“We enjoy the food and service at The Tamiami Tap - and mostly appreciate the local, neighborhood spirit. Mark and his team make everyone welcome, whether it is a beautiful evening or the day after the hurricane… oh, and the nachos, sliders, pork sandwich, small little salad… and… and.. are great!“
“A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“
“At first was not sure about this place, but after the food came I realized why this thing has a great review. Food is home style and amazing. Home made sausage has a slight hint of spice. I ordered the Brave and it was delicious.I love that it say No WiFi.You are here to eat and not do your computer work.“
“Worth the hunt for this location, and don't let the outside dissuade you from grabbing lunch here. What is missing in outdoor ambience is made up for many times over inside. How many days can you say that your waitress is a member of the Wallenda family (yes, THAT Wallenda high wire family, and she still flies in the summer circus )!!! The menu is short, but made with love and really tasty. Hubby had the mushroom/bacon burger and I had the grilled Brie and raspberry sandwich (heavenly) served with a side of their homemade chips, which were crispy and delicious! Bob is the ringmaster of this restaurant, in charge of the Ringling circus car restoration efforts, chief story teller AND cook! He has a million stories that he loves to tell, having married into the circus family. Check the website for lunch hours and make the trip--the memorabilia alone is worth the trip, and the inexpensive, delicious lunch a bonus!“
“Surprisingly good old fashion. Great burger options and cobb bowl was tasty. Loved the fresh cut fries and the fried pickles with the jalapeno ranch. Great atmosphere to catch a game. Reasonably priced unlike most places here. Our server was super sweet and made great recommendations.“
“Fabulous as always! We had a perfect quiet table (as I requested they accommodate if possible) and impeccable service by everyone, especially Mike. Everything was delicious and the special sous vide duck breast sandwich was amazing! Thank you for having such a special little place.“
“This restaurant provides truly refined andexcellent food and is worthy of a "big city". The challenge is whether Sarasota is "big enough" and sufficiently sophisticated for it at this stage. Come on Sarasota, prove that you are up to this challenge, or is it to be burgers and pizza for you all for ever?“
“Outstanding food and service! After living here full-time for nearly a year, we finally found a place with superb filet! While seafood is readily available, I have struggled to find a good steak or filet. We went here with friends, who all enjoyed their surf and turf, but the quality of the filet I had was good enough for me to write this review. A special thanks to Sean our server for making recommendations on both the food and the wine, outstanding! We will definitely be back!“
“Beautiful decor and ambiance embrace you at Sage restaurant. I was eyeing this place for months. Would it stand up to my expectations?Started out the evening on the rooftop bar with a fireplace. The bar was casual, mostly covered, and nice.Surrounded by family, lifelong friends, and new acquaintances, we celebrated my 50th birthday! When we walked into the restaurant, the "air" filled with beautiful music from a solo violinist. He played soulful modern tunes, which encapsulated the memories. The Thai Bouillabaisse and Porter house steak were a MUST! The porter house steak was HUGE. More than enough to feed two. My only wish was a side of risotto, less butter, and more vegetables. Otherwise, the steak was cooked to pure perfection.Honorable mentions were Seared Halibet with Wasabi Plumb Sauce and Yakisiba Noodles with grilled chicken.Thank you to the Sage restaurant for cooking up a wonderful 50th birthday ?“
“You must go! Overall a truly enjoyable dining experience for our group of 6 from NYC, Boston and CT. The service is impeccable, atmosphere is casual and lovely, while the food is creative American fine dining, with whimsy, such as the Birthday cake ice cream for dessert. The local red snapper dish was the best seafood dish that 3 of our guests have ever had. Highly recommend the Pickled Peppers and such, Parmesan Beignets and the Berkshire Pork as well. The attention to detail and flavors for each dish is Michelin Star quality. We have dined at the finest restaurants in NYC. If we lived in Sarasota, we would go back to Indigenous over and over. You will not be disappointed. Can not recommend highly enough.“
“I can’t say enough good about Rosemary and Thyme! The food and drinks are wonderful, and the service is next level. From management to bartenders to servers- such positive interactions, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness. We always book on open table, and typically go for special occasions, and they’ve made it so special each time!“
“It's okay. Kinda like a step up from fast food. Nothing really noteworthy about the menu. One thing that was so weird....a robot brought our food to the table....yes, I said robot. The robot was rude....he said "take your food" (No please???) That means someone from the table has to stand up and serve all of the meals. It just keep getting closer and closer to fast food. You need a food runner.....seriously! #Weird“
“We absolutely love FOOD+BEER SRQ Rosemary District. Dom the manager is absolutely awesome especially leading his staff to success! Kat by far is OUR favorite we specifically go and see her at least 2/3 times a week. Her energy is contagious she is a huge asset to this company 100%. If your looking for great food friendly servers and a fantastic atmosphere support our local friends here at FOOD+BEER! - Sarasota Salvage“
“Music was great, people in attendance are all about having fun and letting loose... All while being non pretentious, yet stylish...Katie was a great server...Too bad her fellow bartender tarnished Katie's effort after she stepped put of the bar. That's the only reason for not giving this place a 5 stars review...“
“Fantastic service, superb food, wonderful atmosphere. Live music really set a fun vibe for the whole restaurant. Mae, the manager, made sure our experience was top notch! She was extremely professional, kind and helpful - I thoroughly enjoyed it with my family and highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free optionsParking: Plenty of parking, all close to entrance“
“Excellent location to watch the sunset and we had the most kind and attentive server. We shared the Greek Salad and both had the Open Blue Cobia which was hearty and absolutely delicious. Mine was on the butternut squash risotto. The two paired together was perfection.“
“Camilo took amazing care of me at the bar. Had a great chicken pasta. Really enjoy the hotel and the staff. I’ve stayed here a few times and the same people are here each time, which is a good sign in my opinion. Quality place to eat and rest!“
“Meadows village pub it's bob it's a great little hidden place, Great atmosphere, a lot of fun and the food you can tell it's a freshly made . This is my third Time with my friends, all the dishes were great. Awesome, awesome muscles in wine garlic sauce.Great burgers and the salads to die for.“
“My girlfriends and I had a wonderful dinner at Made. The service was great and the food was so good. We started with the cornbread appetizer. The cornbread was light and fluffy with a great flavor. Our meals varied from the taco salad to the ribeye special of the day. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back.“
“An early dinner outside on the patio admiring the beauty of nature all around us! Picture perfect! Food was excellent. Generous and perfectly cooked salmon topped a fresh Caesar salad. Lovely triggerfish on spinach and rice, yummy cocktails and hummus appetizer. We enjoyed the entire experience.“
“Looking for the ideal spot to kick back and relax? Look no further! Whether you prefer cozying up indoors, basking outdoors, or sipping a drink by the bar, this place has it all. We indulged in their delectable tuna tataki, Avocado egg rolls, and the unique rock shrimp & blue crab lollipops — the tuna tataki was a definite win for me. To heighten the experience, we sampled an array of martinis and cocktails. The grilled pineapple caipirinha stood out, and the Texas Paloma didn't lag far behind either. Don't miss their Happy Hour— they offer an all-day option on certain days, but it's exclusive to the bar area. Make sure to check their schedule for Happy Hour deals!“
“Was passing through this area and just happened to GOOGLE restaurants and my tech-savvy daughter taught me if it has a 4 or above star rating it's pretty good. And PEACH's CERTANLY lives up to its rating.Packed on a Wednesday morning and understandable. Food is terrific and VERY reasonably priced. Delectable CORNED BEEF HASH and TWO poached eggs ($12) and a jam-packed with delicious bacon BLT ($9) washed down with very decent coffee. Thanks to our fast and efficient server, Derrick B., and aterrific kitchen crew for producing such memorable food!!!!“
“Our waitress Gretchen was fabulous!!! They were super busy and under staffed and she handled it with a great friendly attitude!!! We were patient and ordered drinks and appetizers and just waited for the crowds to clear out and had a nice relaxing dinner. The wings and Ribs were excellent the sliced brisket was a little dry and not much flavor.“
“My wife and I were going to a show at Van Wezel and this was the closest restaurant we could find so I made a reservation on OpenTable because they would not answer the phone at the restaurant. We had 730 tickets we went there at 10 to 6 and ordered two salads, which were very good very tasty. The waitress was terrific. The salads took 60 minutes to be made, we barely made the show. Otherwise I would be giving them five stars. The service was terrible slow just salads and they couldn't get them out to us.“
“Best nightlife in Siesta Key Village in my opinion! Wife and I ended our night here every night we were there. Martinis were great, maybe the best Dirty Martini I've ever had. Those bleu cheese olives are ?. She enjoyed trying the Peanut butter and chocolate martinis, they were awesome too.Live bands were great, we even got pulled out there on the dance floor by some good people. Our favorite part was the staff though! Sam and Corey were extremely quick and a blast to talk to. I can't remember all their names unfortunately for...various reasons, but everyone there was great.Oh and they're affiliated with the 3.14 Pi Pizza next door as well. We grabbed one to soak up some alcohol on the way back to the hotel, was excellent.Definitely make a pit stop here for a drink or 3.“
“Beautiful views and the presentation of the food looked great. The taste was good overall, but to me not worth the price. We loved our waiter, he went above and beyond! My group was big, we were 7 people. We all got cocktails, and unfortunately no one liked theirs. Overall worth it for the views!“
“Great service! Our waitress was fun, lively and so attentive. She served all the tables inside and out and didn't miss a beat. Our drinks were good. Burgers were so yummy. As were our other meals: fish dinner was so good. 3 nice fried pieces, cole slaw, fries. Fish tacos were tasty as well. Ordered onion rings for table- thick rings with a great tasting sauce. Good day to sit out and have a beer, eat some food- have some laughs.“
“My first time eating here, I Googled healthy foods in sarasota and it popped up, so today after work I drove over. I really liked the food, I had the power bowl with grass fed steak and I had the quesedia, 5 stars on both dishes. I loved all the menu options. What impressed me the most was the work ethic of the guy cooking in the kitchen, it's been a long time since I seen such great work ethic from any one individual, dude ran the whole place by himself so efficiently, I only wish I had more money to leave as a tip for him. I hope sarasota locals give this place a chance and support it.Dietary restrictions: If you have very particular dietary needs, this place has you covered.“
“My daughter decided to celebrate her 17th birthday there and I’m so glad she did! The food was amazing. I asked if I could have Chicken Scampi and they were able to accommodate my order. Our server Amanda S. was great! She was very attentive, polite and friendly. She brought back my daughter’s dessert order with a decorated plate and candle to continue on the celebration. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back again!“
“Pricey, but fun! They've made updates since we were last there (new flooring and personal touch lights at each seat). Reclining seats are comfy and excellent food service whether you visit the concession stand or are served at your seat. Food is good, with a big selection from a full meal to snacks.“
“Our group of old guys having lunch ate at CPK today. They had a nice but smallish menu including lunch specials. Very decent prices for very nice selections. So, that is a good value situation. Isabella of the waitstaff took good care of us today.“
“There was a lot of give and take at this place, landing me on four stars. The great parts... 1) the gluten free zucchini fries. I don't know the last time I had anything fried with my gluten free diet. It was such a treat and they were really good! 2) knowledge of our server on gluten free options. While there wasn't a gluten free specific menu, she did know her stuff which made my selections easy. She explained the zucchini fries are fried in rice oil separate from the normal friend things and coated in a rice flour. Win! 3) my poke tuna bowl. It came with a fair amount of tuna and everything was so fresh tasting. I liked the sweet chili sauce and was glad that was gluten free since I had to skip the soy sauce. The closer-to-3-stars things...1) my husbands burger was rated by him as just good, not great. 2) my husbands cocktail was also given a good, not great review by him. 3) wish my poke bowl would have had a base of nice shredded lettuce or something. While I loved most of the ingredients I wasn't a huge fan of the black rice. I would come once more and try some other dishes before deciding how repeatable this place is. But it was overall delish, nice outside seating area, and again I really appreciated our server's help with my dietary needs.“
“Quisiera expresar mi gratitud hacia nuestro mesero ANDREI por su excelente servicio durante nuestra visita. Su atención fue impecable, siempre atento a nuestras necesidades y brindando recomendaciones acertadas. Su amabilidad y profesionalismo hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más placentera. ¡Gracias por hacer de nuestra comida una experiencia memorable!"“
