“First and foremost, friendly staff. Pricing is on par. If you like Pho’, this place is a must! I commented that their base broth was incredible. It is different than any other restaurant in our area. (I’ve tried most). I was shown how they create their base with bones and herbs… simmering for 14-16hrs as opposed to the typical restaurant which used powdered base. I am a huge fan and will be back… probably weekly..LOL“

“We recently had the opportunity to visit Pho Bamboo for lunch. There was plenty of parking. The server rapidly came over to seat us and immediately brought menus and water. He inquired if this was our first visit and asked in we had questions. Our drinks came out quickly followed by our appetizers. Our bowl of Pho and a sandwich were large, flavorful and steaming hot. “Don't miss this great placeWe were big Thai Nawa fans for years. When the restaurant changed ownership and name, we were hesitant. We tried Thai Cafe 99 a few days ago and were pleasantly surprised. This place is great!! As you walk in the door the service is excellent. You are greeted warmly by Therese or Rina and attended to quickly. The new chef / owner is a lovely lady who is obviously working hard to make everything run smoothly. The food is so wonderful that we returned 2 nights later to eat their delicious food again.The food is authentic, and as well-spiced and flavorful as you would expect from Thai cuisine. We especially recommend the chef's Special Massaman cooked with a generous portion of succulent chicken thigh. Our party sampled a few appetizers, soups, salad and several entrees and we had no complaints. We even tried a freshly prepared dessert of Sticky Rice with fresh chopped mango and coconut sauce, and it was so delicious.Anyone who loves Thai food and doesn't visit Thai cafe 99 is only depriving themselves. “I’m searching for the perfect Pho in the Ft Myers area and this was pretty good. Generous portions and decent price. We had the shrimp roll, very good. And each ordered the regular size pho, numbers 40 and 41. Beef broth, reasonable amount of meat, garnished with consisting of sprouts, jalapeño and basil (?) leaves. My husband ordered his without cilantro because he thinks it tastes like soap! I love it. The hot tea was good too. I would go here again. “This place is such a wonderful mom and pop breakfast and lunch restaurant! Carole served us up some delicious “Stackers” and OJ. Everything was prepared fresh to order and perfectly to our liking. We have had multiple work associates recommend this place and we were definitely not disappointed. We will certainly be back! On top of all of that - Thank you Carol for taking care of me today when I forgot my purse in my post-surgery haze! “Samantha was an excellent server. She brought our refills before we even had a chance to ask for them. She was beautiful in self and spirit. She was kind, courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu and the items on the menu. She was most helpful in suggesting the take home promo meal promotion. “This place has only been opened for a few months and it's becoming my favorite go to spot. They always have music playing and sports on a bunch of tvs. The food is amazing and the service rocks!! We were there again last night, Sunday and found out that they have Texas Holdem Poker every Sunday. We had a great time playing and will definitely be back.“
