I think they make their pesto in-house. I lived in Italy for a long time, so I know what good pesto should taste like—and after trying this, store-bought pesto just won’t be the same.

Some of my absolute fondest childhood memories are from third grade, being picked up early from elementary school as a surprise just to come eat here. It has been my favorite restaurant for decades, but what truly elevates it into a category of its own is Aurelina.
In my entire 30 years of life, Aurelina is hands down the most thoughtful, attentive, and genuine server I have ever encountered. She remembers me, knows my exact order by heart, and consistently makes every single visit feel deeply personal. Paquitos simply didn't feel the same without her, and I am beyond thrilled to see her back.

I come here regularly with my parents and my daughter, and we genuinely love this place. This is not one of those restaurants that simply calls itself “Vietnamese” — the food here feels truly authentic. Every time we come, it honestly feels like a little trip to Vietnam.
The soups are absolutely incredible — rich, flavorful, fresh, and made with so much care. You can taste that this is real homemade Vietnamese cooking. The wonderful Vietnamese ladies who prepare the food have truly golden hands. ❤ Everything tastes like it was made with love, not like mass-produced restaurant food.
I also happened to read some of the reviews complaining about tipping, and I honestly don’t understand the negativity. This is a small, hardworking place run by wonderful people who cook, serve, and take care of their customers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing appreciation for someone’s hard work and leaving a tip for good service.
We have always felt welcome here, we always enjoy the food, and we keep coming back for a reason. Authentic Vietnamese food, wonderful people, and some of the best Vietnamese soups around.

The spicing and preparation were good, but a bit salty for my (non-Haitian) palette. Overall I’d love to come back to try the rest of the menu when I’m back in the area.

Everything tasted authentic and was prepared with real attention to quality. The pita was fresh, the vegetables were crisp, and the sauces took the whole thing to another level.
The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent — friendly, fast, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

While we were there we completely forgot the Argentina game was on and we got to enjoy the game and a cool little vibe of an atmosphere.
We ended up getting 4 hotdogs total! They work off a meal deal vibe 2 dogs and a drink for about $12 solid if you ask me we order one round to catch the vibe and boom round 2 was up next since the first dogs didn’t last (pause)”
