“Great amazing place to eat, drink, watch something etc. Went around two weeks ago randomly looking for a place to eat with my girlfriend and I asked them if they would put UFC 311 and they said yes. We called two days before to reserve two tables in front of the tv, they did it and we went with 5 more friends, we all had a great freaking night! We got drunk af🤣 ate half the menu and enjoyed the fight! At the end of the night we ordered a round of shots and the manager was kind enough to send another round on the house. Great place overall and it’s new so I recommend y’all go before it starts getting really packed every weekend!”

“The food here is by far some of the best I’ve had. There is NOTHING on the menu that isn’t absolutely delicious. We’ve never actually been in the restaurant (just Door Dash) but I’m sure the staff are just as awesome (I’m a server…of course I’m gonna say that 🤣). Seriously though, we’ve had the tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, skirt steak, stir fry, fajitas, spinach dip, rice and beans, and guacamole. Everything is DELICIOUS!!!! If you think otherwise, you should have your head examined. 🤣. Now I know what I want for dinner tonight!!!!!”

“Sak Pase food truck is a good place to enjoy Haitian food seriously the food was good and fresh and seasoned well. The fish was to die for and the service was awesome especially all the people that worked there is people friendly. “First time here and it definitely won't be my last! 🤩 I am a chicago native that travels a lot to Florida. Every time I come out here, I am in search of the best Haitian/ Caribbean food places and Marc's took the cake!! I had the chicken stew with rice and beans and everything was delicious!! The mango smoothie was also so rich and creamy! They have a completely different way of making the smoothies! The meat was so flavorful and juicy, the rice was so soft and flavorful !! And Karina, our server was amazing!! She has excellent customer service and made sure we were taken care of from when we walked in until we walked out!”

“Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007.

I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen.

The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños.

I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.”

“Stopping off at Maggie’s feels like going home. The owners and staff are all so welcoming, and they even take the time to remember your name. Often they will stop off by the cafe tables to check on us, and unobtrusively catch up with what’s going on in our lives. They have worked hard to create an atmosphere that’s cheery and roomy, yet cozy. Definitely try the Lasagna layer cake. Layers of raspberry and cream that melt in your mouth. OMG! They are serious about their coffee and it’s the best around; smooth and robust, unlike the bitter or over powering coffee at other area coffee shops. In addition to the pastries they also serve a variety of sandwiches. The pulled pork is my favorite. It’s popular amongst remote workers. I believe they also do catering for special events. You owe it to yourself to stop in and experience it for yourself. Having said all this, I feel a little protective and hope it maintains the neighborly feel even as more folks discover this gem. 😎 Jerry Hammond”

“We live really close to this little gem, always wanted to try it and FINALLY made it there for lunch today. What a huge loss that we waited so long! Their food is so good. I ordered the 2 carna asada taco lunch special which came with beans and rice. My husband ordered the carnita taco lunch special. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy, the beans were topped with melted cheese. We ordered a side of chips and salsa. The chips were warm, crunchy and seemed freshly made. Absolutely amazing lunch.... We will not wait too long to return here to eat.”

“Excellent! Was driving up 95 and got an urge for a pizza and found this on the map. Once I found out they make the bread fresh for the subs, I went with the Italian sub. It was outstanding, so was the salad that came with it. I'll have to come back and try the pizza another time. Excellent service as well!”

“We were a group of 10 people and walked into Perry's Wings 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening. The awesome staff at Perry's went over and above and served us some sumptuous wings, oxtail & jollof rice. Mandy the executive Chef & owner went the extra mile and was present and engaged with the customers until closing. I recommend Perry's Wings as a perfect brunch, lunch or dinner restaurant. They have good food and beverages and awesome customer service.”

“Yall I could CRY. NC bbq in SFLA forreal. We moved back here from ENC 3 years ago and just found Dixie pig today. Yall don't understand, I was on the verge of having some Parker's bbq shipped to me. I'm writing this as I shovel a spoonful of Brunswick stew into my mouth with tears of joy streaming down my face. My husband turns to me and says "I want to live with these people." We are stuffing our faces with the pulled pork platter and the shrimp plate. Yall have made our day. 10/10”

I was hesitant at first because I'm not a big fan of fruits in cream based or chocolate desserts
...but this was delicious!

The staff is very kind and helpful and service is quick.

Chocolate + Vanilla Swirl Cone : Super creamy, delicious and the cone was oddly amazing. Super crunchy and fresh.

Vanilla + Cherry , Vanilla + Strawberry, Chocolate + Coconut, and Vanilla + Mango :
Super creamy and yummy. The fruit- based Italian Ice add-ins have natural fruit and are not over sweet. It complements the vanilla custard perfectly.

What a great sweet treat from a local staple, with good prices and kind staff.

“Our friends brought us here for brunch, mainly for the pour over coffee, I think, but it was vegan friendly. Both hubby & I had the vegan pillow and our friends had the breakfast pillow. The food was tasty, but I think the big draw, again, was the coffee. I'd come back, but probably not before trying other vegan/vegan-friendly restaurants around.”

But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. Myself & my company were in town for a week & we ate here at 3 different occasions & everytime all us were completely blown away at the food. From the presentation, the flavors, to the huge portions it’s a win all across the board.
I even stopped by personally for one more meal to take back to Jacksonville, it’s that good. Super friendly staff with no complaints or issues whatsoever. Whenever I find myself in the area again I’m definitely stopping in. 10 out of 10”

I ordered the chili and cheese omelette with potatoes and wheat toast, which was highly recommended by the sweet and charming Janet, my lovely waitress. My food arrived in less than 5 minutes, which was impressive! The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were crisp and flavorful, all complemented by a nice, hearty wheat toast.
