“We chose Mables as an arbitrary place to meet up with friends who were driving across the state. We couldn't have done better. It's a family operated business with great comfort food and friendly staff. We ordered dinner and between the four of us, we had the fried chicken, fried shrimp, and smothered pork chops. For sides we had French fries, Mac and cheese, black eye peas, lima beans, and collard greens. Every one in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food and only one of us was able to finish our meal. The place itself is basic but homey and welcoming. It was well worth the one hour drive to get there. I highly recommend Mables.“
“We stopped for a quick bite heading home to Kissimmee. I had the blackened chicken sandwich recommended by waitress. It was delicious! Cook uses his own spices.My husband had the double burger and said it was good. Nice simple place with good, quick service.“
