“First time going here, and they have been in town for 2 years! I can't believe we didn't know about it before! The food was fresh and healthy, and they had generous portions. My new go-to in town!”
“We drive to/from St Pete to Palm Beach often, grabbed a to go pulled pork sandwich just a bit ago to eat in the car…some of the best bbq we’ve ever had, delish, and loved the. Cole slaw!!! We’ll be back and refer family/friends, great service as well!!!!”
“It’s so good & popular you need to expect to wait for a table! We went on a Sunday morning, so maybe not so busy during the week! We’ve only been for breakfast, I had coffee, corn beef hash, eggs & grits with rye toast! Food was perfectly cooked and the came out in a timely manner. Staff was so friendly and everyone stopped to refill my coffee! Love watching the planes & helicopters fly in and out!”
“Love this place! Great food, family atmosphere, always busy on the weekends but the wait is never too long. Highly recommend you give it a try.Parking: Can be iffy because it's always busy, but it's a plaza so park further away and you'll figure it out.”
“Amazing place, must try. Typical southern side of the road fish house, food is fresh and delicious. The gator was probably caught from the lake the day we ate it! Definitely worth the drive and even with the hours worth waiting until they are open to go.”
“Loved this place! I went when I was younger, like 10 years ago and it is nothing like it used to be, which is a great thing! Its a cute little place to stop in and get the best bite to eat with the family. The waitresses are amazing! And you can try anything on the menu and it will make you leave with a smile!”
“Cute mom & pop with awesome food. I had the special: pulled pork sandwich combo with Hans cut fries & unsweetened tea. Hubby had philly cheesesteak. Both were hot & excellent.”
“I would drive from Miami to Okeechobee just to eat at this restaurant. The ambiance and decor is interesting and fun, the service is warm and attentive, and the food is local, fresh, well prepared and unique! Thanks Lightsey's!”
“Non-chain, small cafe with excellent food. Portions aren't outrageously large, but we still had leftovers. Good, southern style soul food. Fried chicken was tender & juicy with a crispy skin. Save room for dessert or get it to go.”
“Great lil’ cafe! The chicken salad croissant sandwich was amazing. The side options are extensive and outstanding. The croissant was house made and the best. Will definitely be coming back again and again!”
“First time stopping here for lunch. It's kind of a dark, dingy dive place for lunch, but it would probably be a fun place for a night out. The service was fast and the waitress was very polite with an excellent suggestion for the French dip special. Frys are fantastic. Could have had just them alone!Parking: Almost no lunch crowd, so we were able to park right out front.”

“Terrific pancakes. The sausages and eggs were great. Husband had the healthy breakfast with the omelet that was very good. Place was packed. Waitress was awesome.”
“Ate at this food truck last time we were here at Christmas & enjoyed it so much we sought it out while here on our Spring Break. Had taco dinners, 1 pork, 1 steak, & both were great. Also enjoyed my pineapple agua fresca drink. A lot of interesting menu items, very authentic, great service. Worth the shortish wait for fresh prepared food. Fresh tortillas were delicious. Inexpensive for what you get. Go and try!”
