“We had carry out. One order was fairly burnt chickichurra (?), potatoes too. The order looked so unappealing, I was glad it wasn't mine. That said, I had the quinoa power bowl w chicken and it was delish. We were given no plasticware and no napkins, tho I admit, I did not ask.“
“I was bummed out, I wanted a bacon, egg, and cheese on a Bagel, but they stopped serving breakfast at 10 : 30. But my server Tiffany was very nice, so I settled on just a Bagel with cream cheese.Parking: It's not easy at this location ?“
“I drove all the way from Port Richey to visit this place specifically for the bingsoo snow and omgsh it was so worth it! If you have never had Korean shaved ice, you do not know what you are missing! K-Desserts Cafe is uhhh-mazing and the owner is so sweet and helpful. The boba tea is also amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be a repeat customer!“
“The only problem with this fantastic little eatery/cafe/bar is once you go, everything else pales in comparison. My wife, Jane, and I have vacationed in Dunedin the past two years and having discovered this place, can't seem to stop frequenting it - like almost every second day. It's kind of embarrassing but we love it so much. The menu is small but every choice is absolutely fresh and delicious. Every meal is so satisfying for not only taste but the ingredients also suggest that you ate well. And healthy. Nina and Graham are the loving, hard-working owners who genuinely take the time to say hello, smile and ask how you are. Christine and Molly are also of the same ilk; attentive, friendly and keen to make your experience memorable. Highly recommended.“
“Super delicious coffee and chill atmosphere! I love the decoration and attention to detail they put into Bonsai. Their coffee is delicious - so far I've tried their rose iced latte, their Kyoto cold brew (YUM) and their whipped coffee. Even my husband who is not a coffee drinker likes their stuff! What's nice is that the coffee is strong without being bitter. Will be back :)“
“We are not from the area and took a chance. Isekai did not disappoint! Food was so good. Fast and friendly service too. We especially loved the poke bowl, spicy tuna roll, and the Luffy on a flank. And our favorite show One Piece was playing on the TV! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I’m a regular at both locations and cannot say enough how much I love the staff and product. Jess, Tandy and sky are all amazing people, very personable and make everyone feel welcomed. Will continue to be a forever regular at both locations. Being at drip whether it be Clearwater or Tampa is like being with the best chosen family. Thanks guys for all you do!“
“We're so happy to have found Jerome's Cafe & Bakery. We have been looking for a great French bakery and this is it. The cream chocolate chip croissant is fantastic and if you're eating there get it warmed up. You'll be glad you did. Everything we had was delicious. You can taste the passion of Chef Jerome in everything he creates. Thank you for sharing your love of French baking with the Tampa Bay area Chef Jerome.“
“My wife loves this place. Although there's always a line and they're a little slower due to hand tamping the expressos, the coffee is outstanding. Great atmosphere. Place is always super clean. Prices are along the same lines as every other place. She's been stopping here every morning for coffee during our vacation.“
“EDIT: manager reached out and apologized for the mishap and communication breakdown; she assured me she would work on improving mobile/online order processes. Updated my stars to reflect my willingness to try them out again.Placed an order for pick-up since time was limited. Ordered coffee, smoothie and açaí bowl. There was a large line of people placing orders, and one staff assisting them. I arrived 20 mins after placing my order. There was no sign of food waiting for pick-up, so I tried to get the attention of one of many staff working—all appeared to be very busy, no eye contact even acknowledging me waiting in the pick-up area. After 5 mins I asked the one taking the orders if I was in the right spot—she said yes. Ok, so I wait a few more mins. They are busy—that’s cool. About 10 mins later, they call my name for my coffee and hand it to me. I figure the rest of my food (the smoothie and the bowl will be out momentarily. Another 10 mins go by and I’m getting anxious. I have to stop someone rushing by to inquire about the rest of my order. She finds the smoothie right away (it been ready for awhile sitting in their fridge) but she tells me they didn’t get the acai order. ??? I pull up the order in my email and it’s there. Meanwhile she has to ask a manager about it. She comes back and says they are out of açaí and couldn’t call me because they didn’t have my number. (My phone number was in my email receipt.) Things happen, I get that. But I wasted so much time because they didn’t acknowledge the out of stock item (and hand me the smoothie when they gave me the coffee. Seems like everyone is busy, but there is a lack of communication between stations. Just very disappointing. Won’t be back soon. And I hope I get the refund for the açaí bowl as promised.“
“Had a very nice breakfast lunch at this Cafe in downtown Safety Harbor between Main St and Whimsyland. Primarily outside dining (most under cover) and some indoor dining. Met the owner, who is also the chef. He comes out and greets customers after finishing plating meals to make sure we are satisfied. The ladies restroom was very clean and functional. I enjoyed both my meal and the vibe.“
“Drop by often to eat in and take out. Delicious Cuban and American choices. Staff is delightful and restaurant is quite clean and comfortable. We even bought a couple of cool coffee mugs for home. Eat local - you'll be glad you did!Parking: Big lot - often crowded but always find a spot.“
“If you’re in Tarpon, why in the world would you get a sandwich anywhere else? The menu is expansive and has something for everyone and the people working there are so nice. It’s in a great location too right off the Sponge Docks so there’s really no beating it! Can’t wait to go back.“
“First time and really loved this place. Helpful staff, fabulous bread and biscotti to die for. I got the peasant loaf and it was delicious, moist and dense but not too dense. They had orange cranberry pistachio biscotti and it was fabulous! I'll be back.“
“I love a little hidden gem and this is definitely one of them. Tucked away in an office park this cafe delivers excellent food! The Cuban sandwich, the empanadas, and the beans and rice were all delicious! Don’t forget to ask for the homemade hot sauce and in the little cooler where the cold drinks are, don’t forget to grab a delicious little flan to top it all off! Cheers!“
“I was extremely happy with my catering order for 10 people. All of the trays were hot, labeled and packed securely. I appreciated the inclusion of places, napkins, utensils and condiment packets. I would recommend both dining in and catering. The portions are large and the food is well-seasoned. Breakfast can be bland but Another Broken Egg Cafe does it better than most. Great place!Kid-friendliness: There is indoor and outdoor seating depending on how rowdy the kids are, or if you prefer ample room around your table.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking directly across from the front doors and a ramp from the parking lot to the doors is wheelchair accessible. The restaurant itself has no steps, but the tables are extremely close and aisles would not fit a wheelchair without prior notice. Even walking, I had to turn sideways to squeeze through the dining room to the restroom.“
“I only live up the street & I hadn’t yet been here before. I’ve been wanting to stop by & this was the first time I’d had a chance to stop in & try their Caffè Affogato. They use a local Amish vanilla ice cream from Yoder that is amazing!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“I was privileged to try his double espresso. It is very, very fresh, with a huge crema, wonderful aroma and complex but smooth and fruity flavor. It’s a blend of Ethiopian yirgacheffe, Columbian and Brazilian beans, roasted to medium at exactly a peak of 450 degrees and then immediately cooled so they do not over cook. Wow! Five stars! How this can be only be $12.99 a pound? The quality and price blew me away. But then there is the shop. It’s a massive art gallery with multiple rooms and every inch covered with art, mostly Picasso prints! I kid you not! You have to explore this place, on one of the only three days a week Mario is open!He has no employees. He has no imitators. He has no helpers. He has his own passion for coffee and art. He has his desire for coffee perfection! He spends most of his week roasting small batches rather than opening the shop.Life is great with a unique passion for perfection! Thanks Mario!“
“We had the pleasure of walking into Southie Coffee and we were in heaven the minute we were in the restaurant! The awesome staff made us feel so welcome and the food and coffee was incredible! They are pet friendly and Benny gives it 5 stars!! We always strive to support local businesses and Southie Coffee is one we will definitely support on a regular basis. We highly recommend Southie Coffee!!“
“My recent visit to Grahame's Gourmet Cafe was amazing. They use high-quality ingredients and pay close attention to detail in their dishes. The staff is friendly and knows a lot about the food, making the whole dining experience great. It's a perfect spot for those who want both delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere.“
“First time here and we were not disappointed.I had banana bread with a layer of peanut butter between the two thick slices and it was drizzled with Nutella with whipped cream on the side. I might never have thought of this combination and I seriously mean this, "I would have been missing a real treat!!!My sister had pancakes but vowed to experiment further on our next visit. It is right next to the bike trail and when I can pedal my recumbent that far, I will be stopping there! (Trust me, I won't be waiting that long to return!)“
“I went there with my family for the first time as my son did a tour upstairs of the building and it was so good we came back today! The breakfast special was our favorite. And Dan is super nice. My son loved talking to him and he was very kind to him. We will definitely need to come back again soon! Thank you for your service, Dan!“
“Went to Keke’s yesterday for breakfast. What a great place. It started with the coffee and the orange juice. Both were delicious. I had the banana pecan pancakes and my husband had the waffle. They were so good. Such a special place to enjoy a wonderful breakfast.“
“Honestly, I'm a food snob. And I've lived in Dunedin seven years. We have GREAT food options in this town. Seriously though, Chef Robert might be the best chef in town. Only open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays but get there and get you some fabulous food. My preference is lunch, I've had most of the sandwhiches, often get whatever the special is and have NEVER been disappointed. Today my husband and I shared the goat cheese BLT wrap special and a Cuban. He got the papaya slaw and I got the potato salad. Good luck choosing between these two sides because they are both phenomenal! This is Dunedin's hidden gem!“
“Wow! Delicious breakfast potatoes, and the Eggs Benedict was ON POINT! I ordered it with regular bacon and it was awesome. The coffee was okay. Could use a little more strength, but the service was great so that's a huge bonus. Craig was our server and he was helpful and kind. Will return to this place for breakfast every time I'm in Clearwater, FL. This place is not fancy, but it is good- Worth every penny.“
“Had a great breakfast experience at Sandpiper Cafe during my vacation. Opted for the front porch seating, where our server was not only attentive but also recommended a fantastic breakfast bowl. The breakfast sandwich stole the show – easily my favorite vacation breakfast, thanks to the amazing croissant. Accompanied by lattes in generous mugs – the perfect start to the day!“
“Great food, big portions, great prices, and good, honest people. A true gem of a business in this day and age! You’ll spend less here than at any other chain and you’ll be supporting a family business. Which is so important with all the big corporate places taking over and forcing out our traditional, family run Florida gems.“
“Hands down, the best bagels I've had in Florida. People always joke about how New York has the best bagels. I don't know what they're joking about, because it's a scientific fact. Since moving to Florida, it's been a struggle trying to find a decent bagel. There are some bagel shops that give it a good effort, but usually you're relegated to offerings of fast food establishments (no thank you), but not anymore. New York Bagel shines like a soft, doughy beacon amongst a sea of mediocrity. The bagels are perfect, the staff is super polite and friendly, and they even offer a BECSPK, which is the holy grail of breakfast sandwiches. If you're ever in the area, you should get a bagel from here. If you aren't in the area, make the trip.“
“A wonderful, made to order Cafe on the first floor of a business center. The Turkish family that operates the spot could not be more friendly or accommodating. Greeted with a smile the instant I came in, they were helpful with recommending what to get. I went with the tuna club sandwich, which was very tasty. I also couldn't resist trying the baklava, both traditional and chocolate. Finally, a hot Turkish coffee to finish the meal made for a great lunch experience. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back again. You could also pick up a few homemade provisions, a Turkish made Mosaic decorative lamp, or a bag of Turkish coffee to take home.“
“Outstanding, creative, reasonably priced food! This morning I had perhaps the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten and washed it down with a perfect cup of Java. Looking at the menu, I would come back later for lunch if I didn't have to fly home. Lovely service as well. Will definitely return.“
“In December, they prepared my birthday cake, an Italian. Cassata Cake. I’ve had this cake many times and from many places through the years. Nowhere, at no time, has a better cake been made! It was the best ever! Then, we went there for brunch. Again, everything from the cozy (very French) ambiance to the exquisite pastry to the fantastic coffee(and I know my coffee) was delicious and delightful!“
“Nestled in the heart of our community, Maggie's Cafe is a hidden gem that has won the hearts of many with its delightful combination of fresh food, a warm and family-oriented atmosphere, made-to-order dishes, and undeniably delicious flavors. It's the kind of place where you can bring your loved ones for a memorable meal together, and even the littlest members of your family will feel welcomed. One of the standout features of Maggie's Cafe is the commitment to using fresh ingredients. It's evident in every bite of their meticulously crafted dishes. Whether you're indulging in a hearty breakfast or a savory lunch, you can taste the difference that quality, fresh ingredients make. Maggie's Cafe takes "made to order" to a whole new level. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, ensuring that it perfectly suits your preferences. Whether you have dietary restrictions or simply want to customize your meal, the accommodating staff is more than happy to fulfill your requests. It's a rare and appreciated touch that keeps customers coming back for more.“
“Great decorum/interior design with a picturesque portrait of Tarpon Springs dynamic sea life culture. Enjoy awesome breakfast and lunch that is cooked to perfection!Vegetarian options: There are respective vegetarian options that extend past a salad.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.“
“Cool vibe sandwich shop. Clean and seating inside and outside. Prices very reasonable for Tarpon Springs and you get a good sized sandwich that is well prepared. The cheese steak was very good. Their is a modest selection of beer and wine along with canned cocktails. So nice spot not far from the Sponge Docks for a meal and a drink or 2. Will definitely go again.Parking: In a plaza so plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Large open a wheelchair can easily enter and exit.“
“I've heard great things about keke's but honestly I think it's a bit overhyped. I thought everything was pretty good but not great. I'm not even sure if the syrup was maple but that should be a must if the toast itself is not that flavorful. Sometimes French toast is the equivalent of eating a scrambled egg with white bread and syrup but that is not enough !!! At least in my humble opinion lol cheers everyone“
“Lydia is just the most amazing waitress. She goes out of her way for us each time we come there. She's extremely helpful and just a joy to know. Always makes our visit extra special. The food is always great & the atmosphere is really wonderful, but Lydia is the best !!*“
“First time visiting today, the owners are super sweet and personable. Was only making a quick stop for some milk tea but I'm really glad I chose this spot. Everything is fresh and mostly made in-house. There's something for everyone here and I'm definitely going to end up being a regular. I went out on a whim and got the honeydew milk tea with tapioca pearls. The boba (which I was informed is made fresh daily) is the best I've had yet. The honeydew flavor was resfreshing and sweet but not too sweet which I appreciate. They host all types of events if you check out their flyer. The atmosphere and vibes are super comfy and relaxed. This place is also clearly LGBT+ friendly which is amazing. Definitely going to return to hang out and get the full experience this wonderful place has to offer. Highly recommend!“
“This is a regular stop for us, we have been coming here for many years. Typically we are here enjoying their delicious soups and sandwiches for lunch. If we are not here for lunch we will often stop by to partake in their delicious European pastries and coffee drinks. Stop by and check it out for yourself. This place may become a regular destination for you.Parking: There is ample parking on-site and the adjacent parking area.“
“We went here a couple of times while visiting and would highly recommend. The service was great! We loved the atmosphere & I had the iced mocha & biscuits & gravy. We also tried the quiche and eggs Benedict. All were amazing! We will definitely be back.“
“What an amazing beautiful place. I’ve driven past so many times. I finally went today with some mom friends and had a fabulous lunch. I’ve never had a salad so fresh! The citrus dressing was perfect and the lentil soup was also delicious. Looking forward to some homemade bread and chicken salad for lunch tomorrow. We will be back for again for a tour and more wonderful food. Thank you!“
“Amazing, service, food, atmosphere,(outdoor seating available) STAFF: 10 STARS!Gelato is so yummy!!! CURRY, grilled cheese okay EVERYTHING! Thank ladies and gent.Vegetarian options: That would fall on the person who is vegetarian. So many variations. Good luck. Great place! EnjoyDietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten free options...Parking: On street or over flow lots, locations all the way around the blickKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes, correct levels degrees of entrance and exit with plenty of room to maneuver. RR as well“
“Staff was awesome!! Food was great. The fish & chips, grilled cheese and tomato soup tasted homemade. Staff were attentive and each of them just did what needed to be done not just their own tables. Friendly, great food. Breakfast options looked really good as well.“
“ADDENDUM REVIEW 2-20-24The reviews below (12-8-19, 12-20-19) were for the former restaurant called SconeAge, NOT LaVita. They bought the store and improved on the food and service. My experience here at LaVita has been very good. It's a family affair with moms and their kids helping in the kitchen and serving customers. Always polite and accommodating. The food is made on premise unlike other coffee shops where it's brought in from outside. They bake next door and cook in the back kitchen. The most complete bakery by experienced bakers in Dunedin. Try LaVita, you won't be disappointed.-------------Review below is of SconeAge, NOT LaVita:12-20-19 FOLLOW UP. If you read the owner/chef's comments about my review, it's obvious she didn't read it carefully enough. You LOST a third star due to your unreasonable attitude."Fledgling" referred to the first, somewhat disorganized event which is fine as a first attempt. However, if the fifth attempt is awkward then some additional planning or revamping might be necessary. The performance area is a tight, over-sized "walk-in closet". Chef, your scones may be delicious but yours/Larry's DISORGANIZATION can be disheartening. Perhaps, on the warmer days, outfitting the BACKYARD as event space might work best, although there wouldn't be any place to park. Perhaps the BBQ place's lot next door might work as an alternative parking lot.As far as Larry's prowess as poet of "international" fame, I've not heard of him or his work before. Is he SELF PUBLISHED? If so, that might explain why. He may need to promote himself and not just events. I guess I've been caught up in teaching the masters like Kooser, Laux, Collins, Williams, Oliver, et. al. So, if I've missed this "famous" poet's work, woe is me!But regardless of your or my definition of what constitutes poetic excellence in terms of Larry's work -- that wasn't my point. It was the PRESENTATION and PROMOTION of the event that was CLUMSY -- not Larry's poetry. For example, most poets I talked to thought the event's readings were relegated to Human Rights ONLY. And that's an important reason why more poets didn't show. Not all poets have poems relative to that subject. Get it, Chef? And finally, "clumsiness" included making all attendees read every one of the long list of Human Rights tenets, about 30 of them! It dragged the event out to the longest "yawn" in open-mic history! Larry should've provided a BRIEF TALK and handout to be read LATER and let his and other's poetry say what needed to be said. Wasn't that why you summoned us there, Chef, -- to listen to the POETRY of Human Rights?---------------------12-8-19 Participated in the first poetry open mic today, Sunday. It's a tiny venue, conducted after hours (3 pm), run by the owner, a poet himself; a very hospitable and gentle Sixties soul. It's an intimate room bursting at the seams with readers and listeners of poetry. The first fledgling attempt was understandably passable, but we can only hope future events will be conducted with more planning, i.e., a PODIUM (please!) would be a welcome addition for readers' comfort. The initial theme was human rights, which was clarified later as not necessarily a reader's maxim; after a phone call for clarification, it was found to be open to any themed poem. I look forward to the next installment in what appears to be a monthly program of "Greenwich-Village" style cafe poetry. And it's not just the Beats in residence here. Ginsberg and Kerouac would be proud of this resurrection of poetry in Dunedin. However limited. However innocent. And, as bakery, there is the scone, tasty and unblemished by unnatural ingredients. Scone Age is the natural bread and sustenance of wheat and words in Dunedin. Long may it live and flourish!“
“They do not have any alternative milks for their coffee. I am lactose intolerant. Doesn't seem super hard to have one single alternative. This is to inform others/suggest to the owner of the cafe to offer an alternative, so still giving 5 stars. I would get coffee from here every time I went to the library if they did.“
“We originally weren’t suppose to go to Big Bamboo Bayside. Boy, we are happy we did go there. The food was fresh. The drinks were on point. The view was spectacular. We were there for a tournament and were upset that we didn’t stay at the resort right above Big Bamboo just to try everything on their menu. I had a chicken Caesar salad. Delicious!!! Others that were with me had the cheesesteak was made perfectly. The chicken Caesar salad wrap was fresh and not dry at all. The fries were just right. Nachos piled high too much for us too handle. The chicken quesadilla was exactly how we ordered it. We regret that we had to leave to go back home. But definitely when in town, I will make several stops. Blue Hawaiian was my drink. I wish I had one now.“
“I don’t even know where to start… you just have to go and enjoy the amazing shakes and teas they make! All of the young ladies there are very nice and welcoming! Don’t miss out on this one! I Highly recommend you give it a try!Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoy healthy shakes too…lol“
“Nice little place with pretty good food! Maybe five tables in the joint. We got the palomilla steak, Moro, and fried plantains. Steak was nice and tender, people were nice and welcoming. Lady knew everyone by name! Reminds me of the little mom and pop restaurants growing up! Will definitely be back! Also, the colada we got after was really good. Have a nice selection of sodas as well! Give it a try!“
“I love Moxie's, I sometimes find myself making excuses to deviate in my day to make time to visit and grab lunch. Staff are very kind and helpful, and it's a small place so you see the same faces. I recommend either the Cuban sandwich or the Chicago Beef.“
“I ordered online for me and my family, everything was fresh and delicious! Also well priced for what you get, the pasta salad was so good! As well the açaí dessert with meal was delicious, my husband got the carnitas bowl and he enjoyed every bite. Definitely will be ordering again very soon :)“
“Kazba is such a wonderful cafe with plenty of delicious and unique options. Their decor is so beautiful and I just love being there. The staff is very friendly! When my mom (who was Moroccan) passed away, I went there to celebrate her. The owner gave me a free desert and spoke to me a little. Nothing but good things to say about Kazba! I always stop by when I'm in the area ❤️“
