“I've eaten at vegan restaurants all over the world, and I can confidently say that Rawk Star Cafe is one of the best I've been to. I had the raw tacos and was blown away by how flavorful and filling they were. I had a smoothie as well, which was great. The pie slices looked amazing as well, but I was too full to try one. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in the Tampa Bay area.“

“Me and my husband used CaraMel's Bakery for our wedding cake and it was fabulous! We sat down with the baker and chose three different flavors for our cake and showed her a picture of how we'd like the cake. The wedding was a Harry Potter themed wedding and she followed everything in the picture and more! The cake was gorgeous and was truly magical. “Sweetwood Bakery provided the cake for our wedding and it was amazing! We asked for a simple white frosting with blue fruit and greenery and it came out exactly how we envisioned it. One of the venue servers said it was his favorite wedding cake to date because of how beautiful the design was and that is saying a lot because the server has seen so many wedding cakes! Highly recommend :)“

“I had a great dinner again last night. Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Bucatini Clams with Fresh linguini. So good. The clams were a nice size from Cedar Keys, FL northeast of us in the Pan Handle. Then I splurged and got the Banana creme pie that they are also so well known for. My partner always loved that pie, so I got a piece in his memory. Hey it was amazing. “In December, they prepared my birthday cake, an Italian. Cassata Cake. I’ve had this cake many times and from many places through the years. Nowhere, at no time, has a better cake been made! It was the best ever! Then, we went there for brunch. This ice cream is very low in calories and carbs, but who cares unless it's also delicious? Which it totally is. I had a small bowl of the blueberry cheesecake, which is actually a very ample serving, and it was so good. And it was completely satisfying. “Wow ! We stayed near Raymond James stadium after a concert and went to Nicky's the next morning for breakfast! It was very busy and we had to wait for a few minutes, but it was well worth the wait. The server was great and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. A big menu with lots to choose from. I highly recommend Nicky's.“

Not only did I run into old friends from days past in Safety Harbor but they are now the General Manager, Nikki and Chef Jason here at The Pub at Safety Harbor. Happy to know that I can once again dine on chef Jason's famous prime meat loaf. It is the best you will ever have. Also tried the wood fired pizza and it is also a hit. Can't wait get back again and try more of the menu. I quit going to Safety Harbor after they split with their previous place there. Happy to be back.“
