“The bad news is they no longer have the yummy quesadilla. The good news is they have a delicious salad called the stonewood salad. I will be back for that. The burger was feeling but not the greatest.”
“Great experience. The food is so fresh and well made. One of my favorites was the papaya salad...just the right amount of acidity and sweetness. The wait staff are lovely.”
“Super cute coffee shop. Highly recommend EVERYTHING lol! But on a serious note the Eggocado (avocado toast) was delicious! The caramel coconut iced latte was perfection and the nutty açaí bowl was a delight ☺️Say hi to the owners Melissa and Eddie - they are incredibly welcoming!”
“We eat at Carrabba's often because it is always consistent. A good meal, reasonable price, short wait time & good service! The menu has a good variety of choices.”
“It's been quite some time since I've been in a cigar lounge. I would typically prefer Scotch, but at just past noon, a beer was perfect. I met a friend there I grew up with. He had a Fuente Hemingway Classic. Since I had a bunch of them in my humidor, I opted for an Oliva V Series maduro Churchill. The cigar selection was quite good, regardless your preference, with a wide selection of brands, blends and sizes.”
“Wonderful weight staff. Saturday night busy - they made us feel like we were the only people here. They altered my pasta how I wanted - Jaynie did it with a smile and zero question. Max makes the best drinks. I am a foodie. This place is amazing. The service all 3 times has been amazing!”
“Great food. I had Cheese Steak omelette added mushrooms to it. There home fries are great.. they are fried sliced Red potatoes. In the future I will ask to see if they fry onions with mine and add cheese.”
“The ability to speak French isn’t required. Tucked away in the massive UTC 4 corner mall madness complex is a small slice of France. Stopped for lunch but ended up ordering a delicious Eggs Benedict on a melt-in-your-mouth, buttery croissant with salmon. OMG it was amazing! Will need to go back to drool over the back goods.”
“My carry out delivery was splendid. Micheal did such a great job handing me my food and said my pleasure everytime I thanked him. Definitely coming back to see Micheal.Parking: Very open”
“As mentioned on my previous review, I came back to try some ramen today. Every place deserves a second chance and fair review. Whenever I come across new ramen place, I usually try shio (clear broth) or shoyu (clear broth plus soy sauce). My belief is that it is easier to judge ramen place if ramen is simple, and not have all sorts of things added to mask the lack of umami or deep flavor or base. I judge ramen by the broth, noodles, and the toppings. All three should be well balanced. So, I tried shoyu ramen. I was reasonably impressed that it has good enough base broth, and the yellow curly ramen noodles were cooked properly. Not a "wow" but a B grade. The toppings were not too skimpy or too much. The soft boiled ajitama (egg) was on par. Could use a little more flavor but the soft yolk center was perfect. I actually prefer this shoyu ramen here than the one at Fushi Poke in downtown Sarasota. My shoyu ramen came with chashu (pork roast), naruto (pink and white fish cake, menma (pickled bambooshoots), seaweed, ajitama (egg), greens and scallions. I still think that the value is not there. Why all ramens everywhere cost close to $20? I know inflation has something to do with it, but I still think of ramen as an affordable Japanese fast food. I feel like ramen in the US is more of a novelty and priced as such. If you go to Japan today, I bet you can find a great bowl of ramen for an equivalent of $10 and still be full. In conclusion, my faith in this place is restored. At least I am willing to come back for this shoyu ramen, but not for the awful curry.”
“This is my drunk honest opinion, sports bar and definetly busier on the weekends $5-$10 for one drink. A lot of nice people, here on a Monday and everyone is talking to us. A lot of locals but you will make friends”
“The stake floutas were delicious , great flavors. My wife had chicken fajitas, and she loved it. This is a double AAA of AAA. I definitely will be back and try the other dishes.”
“Very friendly people at this location, food is very delicious and consistent with other locations.Try the Moe's Rita in the Coke freestyle machine!Looking for a burrito or bowl? Try the Mo'meat mo'cheese & don't forget the queso!”
“Friendly service, fresh ingredients, many choices and customized options. Good spot to grab something when running errands. I love there Sunrise Sunset or Pomegranate Plunge with Kiwi instead of Banana. They have bowls now that are very good!”
“We were traveling and stopped for a break. The store was closed to the public, only the drive through was open and the manager opened the doors so we could use washrooms. Employees showed up so we ended up eating. Thanks for your kindness.”
“We tried almost everything on the menu. Everything was delicious and I experienced flavors I had never tasted before. The service was epic even though the place was jammed.”
“The food and service were exceptional. The lardo di colonnata appetizer (with the black truffle honey) was the star of the show. Actually, each subsequent dish was also the start of the show. The tomato based pasta was super flavorful and the vanilla panna cotta ended the night on a very high note.”
“Super chill atmosphere. Loved the shrimp ceviche with chips on the side, and the conch fritters were ok. Music, vibe, views, and service from lovely Victoria were the best - she’s very sweet and attentive; kind to to everyone. Definitely recommend this gem.”
“We went to The Lion & The Rambler recently for my wife's birthday. I give this restaurant the highest praise possible. Exceeded all expectations. Strongly recommend, but only if you like astonishingly good food and great service. Compliments to Chef Michael!”
“Had a media noche at high noon with cilantro garlic aioli on the side. Very good!Parking: There were no spaces in the lot but plenty nearby on Calle Ocho and SW 21st Ave.”
“Delicious Omakaze experience with a wide variety of sashimi and rolls. My fave was the shiitake rolls. And I was obsessed with the wasabi oil they gave us for the hand roll. The service was amazing and the itamaes the best, we even got to try a very fluffy matcha biscuit and the shaved ice with mint and lemony taste was amazing!”
“Miguel was a wonderful server, was super helpful in understand the menu and was near are table at all times just in case we needed something. Best time and food recommended 10/10!”
“Great happy hour every day. Tasteful bites and a great service.Bartender was pleasant and knowledgeable, and recommendations were top-notch. Very vibrant place with a lot of traffic for friendly gathering.Keep it up .Ps. Manager pass by the table .”
“Carolina at Bocas Grill Kendall provided outstanding service during our visit. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. Her attention to detail and warm demeanor enhanced our dining experience. We look forward to returning and hope to have her as our server again!”
“Excellent meal and dining experience. My wife and I really miss the old Shula’s 347 and have been waiting for a new go-to restaurant to open in the South Miami/Pinecrest area. We found it…in the same location. The Caesar salad and [not so] spicy tuna tartare were an excellent start complemented by the roasted chicken dish with broccolini on the side. Each plate was as good or better than the last, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was terrific. We even had an unexpected Chef Jeremy Ford sighting as he presented a beautiful Tomahawk Ribeye to a neighboring table. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Service is espectacular , like everything food atmosphere but specially the service sorry I forgot his name tall guy venezuelan , very good service , i recommended to my family and friends love it I will repeat the experience great job”
“What a wonderful experience! It is truly a "hidden gem" that is ideal for foodies. The location is small and intimate, but the tables are far enough apart that you don't feel like you're eavesdropping on your neighbors. The menu choices are creative and made with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the bing bread, bao, wonton in brodo, steak and a gnocchi type dish (I don't recall the name). They told us their menu changes frequently, so we can go more often and try new things. Their wine recommendation was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!Parking: We had an early reservation so it was easy to find street parking. There is a garage nearby, but I didn't notice the cost.”
“This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel and had decent reviews, so we decided to try it, plus there weren't too many options after 7 pm in the area.We had a great server, which suggested perfect drinks, appetizers, and mains. It's too bad they were closing at 10 pm, we would have stayed longer. The restaurant is next to the marina and bottom level to an office building, so I'm sure the bulk of the business is during the daytime and weekends. But, overall, we enjoyed everything which was offered. We loved the food and drinks. But don't bother with the oysters. They were small. The atmosphere felt like you were in the tropics while sitting in a tiki hut.”
“Found this place bc was looking for a coffee shop with good reviews on Yelp. Came here twice in the same week I was down bc it was so good! Came down again to move my son in and had to go back. Avocado toast was the best! Perfect combinations. The flavored lattes and coffee are awesome. Not sure how they make their flavors, but taste so real and not artificial. Got the crème brûlée and tasted like a fresh crème brûlée. Oh and the ambiance is adorable! Rustic. Highly recommend!”
“The bartender at oak and stone matt was really friendly and welcoming. Had a great conversation and the watermelon fields forever refresher cocktail was delicious. Definitely recommend on these hot days. Keltsey served my food as i was ordering out she was very sweet as well.”
