“We tried Red House for the first time today. The wait was about 10 mins or so in the drive thru with us being thr only car at the time, however, everything we ordered was cooked fresh. It was piping hot, tasted excellent - the best egg rolls and wonton soup in town! The egg rolls didn't even need sauce. We also got beef lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, sweet & sour pork, and fried rice. While the lo mein noodles were just a tiny hair overcooked, the flavor was very good and the portions of everything were easily enough for 2-3 meals per person. The service was polite and friendly, and clean as far as we could tell. We've tried all the Chinese/Asian restaurants in town and this is by far our favorite. We will definitely be eating here again.“
“The white rice is soooo delicious I mean I love the rice and the vegetables were also great! Cooked throughly and warm!!! the noodles are okay but the Chicken was no good! Pretty dry tbh! The chicken tempura sushi was great! I don’t like that they don’t bring you a fresh drink refill, but refill your cup from soda pitcher that who knows how long it’s been sat for, it’s was rather flat. I definitely recommend it if you’re a rice lover.“
“This is some of the best takeout Chinese I have ever had. It is on par with NYC Chinese takeout. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. The peas in the fried rice pop when you bite them. The hot and sour soup has FRESH, not canned, mushrooms. My husband and I have declared this is our new Friday night splurge.“
“Workers seemed very friendly, and the food was good and fair priced. Actually low priced considering inflation. They did have a wall to wall plastic barrier up to seperate the kitchen and register area from the dining area. Not a bad idea although it won't go over well with local neocons who apparently love the idea of spreading and ingesting viruses, and if they aren't busy calling the police on homeless people hoping the police shoot them dead for breaking into their own vehicles, as they wait homeless in a parking lot for their next work shift to begin, because prevaling wages do not meet rental requirements, or at very least stepping on their heads and occasionally necks, while they are in cuffs, for the fun of it. Or breaking water spigots in local parks in hopes they die of dehydration and having a Republican government blame it on transients and go through cutting most off as well to "prevent vanadalism". I found these people pleasant compared to Palatka itself. A good break from a harsh reality. A much better option for lunch than most Wall Street publicly traded box chains Palatka has to offer for at most a couple dollars more from even the cheapest deals at fast food places with more consistent quality than you get at fast food places. Every time I have the misfortune of being in Putnam county, I will eat here.“
“First visit here and surprisingly decent food! Was a little disappointed with the pork dumplings, they had gotten hard, yet everything else I tried was pretty good. Really enjoyed the Egg Custard and the Black Pepper shrimp. If only they could keep the floors just a little dryer... I walk with a cane and almost fell several times... Other than that pretty well done“
“I have never had a bad item from this restaurant. I live in Interlachen and the Chinese restaurant here is horrible! I had been driving to Hawthorne where there's a very good restaurant until my sister turned me on to master wok in Palatka. Now it's my new favorite place!!“
