“My wife was getting her hair cut nearby, so I went in for a late breakfast. Really fun menu! I settled on a Mexican omelet. It is a large portion, came with toast and potatoes. The omelet had chorizo, mild green peppers, guacamole, and sour cream. Very good, I couldn’t finish it all. With an excellent cup of coffee, just over 15$ before tip. The facility is fun, restrooms clean, friendly staff.“
“Great little cafe with friendly service and very good food. You can sit inside with air or outside on a little patio. Unfortunately there's not a lot of atmosphere outside so we chose air. We both ordered the champagne sangria which was delicious and a nice big glass of champagne with probably sprite or something and bits of fruit. Then we ordered a burger with apple and Brie which was tart from the apple and sweet from the Brie, and a burger with goat cheese. We shared an order of sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty. We also got a turtle cheesecake to go. Enjoyed everything and would definitely recommend if you're in the area.“
“?Great Breakfast Spot?Island Gecko Grill is a fantastic brunch spot in Merritt Island. The interior is spacious, with options for both tabled, countertop, and booth seating. The walls are painted with eye-catching, Floridian beach-scapes that capture the mood of this native diner.Island Gecko Grill features regular specials, with staple breakfast and lunch platters and entrees. My ham, bacon, cheddar grilled cheese on wheat multigrain tasted incredible.I saw many "regulars" entering the restaurant around lunch time, asking for their "usuals." The diner gives off a vibe of comfort and familiarity. The wait staff are fast and friendly, and knew their regulars by name and preferences.I will happily return to try more of their menu!“
“We were there on a late Saturday morning and had about a 20 min wait, even though we joined the line virtually about 15 mins prior. The texting app is great to keep us informed of our status in line. Server was helpful at making recommendations and food was delish. Given the crowd it was a bit noisy but not too loud that we couldn’t hear each other. We enjoyed breakfast and paid using the QR code on the bill. Reminder to us to clarify eggs over easy is more runny than perhaps over medium… we forgot to ask.“
“Food: delicious...had a Billie's breakfast sandwich with spicy maple...the bacon was *really* good. Coffee was spot on as well. 5 stars Service: the best service I've had for a long time. 5+ stars Ambiance: this place is a hidden gem. You'd not ever know it was here if you weren't looking for it. That said it's clean and low key tiki/Hawaiian themed but not tacky. They need another location downtown! The food is better than all the other cafes there. 4.5 stars Looking forward to coming back!“
“This place is my favorite when we visit Florida, I have celiac and I always know I'm safe here, the owner is once of the most easy to talk to down to earth people I have met, his wife makes awesome pastries that are gluten free, go check this place out for sure the coffee is also awesome here, atmosphere is laid back and chill!“
“Safe, Quick, Friendly service!Tasty Vegan Soups!Happy Mac n Cheese!Super Sandwiches!SUCCESS!Vegetarian options: Autumn Squash Soup is great.Fuji Apple Salad without the Chicken is an option.Dietary restrictions: If bread is not on your diet you can select an apple instead.“
“If you're looking for a delicious bite to eat with a friend, this is it. Great breakfast choices, diner type feel to the menu. I really like the Greek omlet with sautéed onions. Good price for your money, and you won't leave hungry!“
“I've been here quite a few times now with my toddler, we mostly get a cookie or other item from the case. Everything has been good so far, with the exception of the biscuit, it was dry and not very flavorful, but their cookie decorating kits and order ahead pies (pumpkin and salted bourbon pecan) for Christmas were awesome.“
“From the service to the food, all was topped at 100%. Breakfast is amazing!! The shrimp Benedict was delicious, the grits with cheddar cheese was my goodness good. Hubby had the pancake breakfast, sorry no photo but they were huge and had good flavor. If you have not tried this place, go check it out.“
“Just went here for some Sunday brunch and it was so delicious! I also loved the vibe and the atmosphere. There was some nice Cuban music playing and several cozy spots to choose from. The servers were very kind and the food came out very fast. My sandwich was perfectly made. The bread was nicely toasted and the eggs were soft and fluffy. I will definitely be back again!“
“We stopped at this shop when we had to run to Melbourne for something. It’s about a 30 min drive from Cocoa Beach, and it is WORTH the drive. My latte was amazing! The empanadas were even better, and the pastries were off the charts! We may definitely make the drive solely for this. There is more than just sweets. They have sandwiches, soup, etc. ❤️“
“Always a great experience for breakfast. My husband and my first breakfast date was here back in 2017 and we've been coming ever since. Thank you to the team at Friendly Toast Cafe!Kid-friendliness: Our daughter is obsessed with their hashbrowns! The staff are always so sweet to her. Great family restaurant.“
“Found this great little shop on Google when we were desperate for a really good coffee on a Sunday afternoon. So excited when we saw they offer Affogato!! (espresso over ice cream). The first time we had it was in Rome over this past summer. A very nice young man made a perfectly yummy drink for us. The atmosphere is comfy and a nice mix of coffee shop and ice cream parlor.Definitely a great stop and we'll be back to try some food next time.“
“I’m in vacation and found this Vegan Gem Cafe! I ate the Collard Burrito (veggies avocado w hummus) w their onion bread. Had nitro coffee w nut milk! Yum! Never been so happy to have to do my laundry on vacation! It’s next to the 24 hr laundromat. ?Vegetarian options: Delicious Fresh Food“
“Expensive for what you get... avocado toast was average but the Acai bowl was good. Coffee a bit to roasted, at least for me.The place is nice though, it has a nice ambient and setting. If I had to come back probably would do so just for a bowl or a smoothie.“
“Cherity was my server. A delightful warm welcome, the sky may be gray but it’s golden in here. Secret chef of the bakery. I ordered the cinnamon roll with cream and decaf coffee, all the buzz. Kelly, among others, make the experience everything you may “
“My husband picked this place out thinking it was a traditional bar as we are not familiar with Kava. We were surprised to find they didn't serve alcohol but the drinks they did have were amazing. We got a Kava and CBD based drink flavored with ginger that was delicious. They also have a pool table, ping pong, and Foosball available while you hang out and sip your drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was so nice. Angela was our server and she kindly explained the menu and their customs. I would absolutely recommend stopping here. Thanks for a great evening!“
“I will start with what was bad. The seating is horrible. These are the most uncomfortable chairs and the reason why we will not come back and dine in.What was good? When you enter they have a tablet to check in. It allows you to pick griddle or a regular table. They also have an estimated wait time. All this was perfect because the information was just provided to you and you didn’t have to wait in a line to ask someone. The food was really good. They provided excellent customer service. The lemonade was good but It was a bit too sweet.Overall, great experience and I will definitely order again but to go. I will not dine in.“
“Me and my husband Tyreek were traveling through Melbourne for work(we met through work lol!). We decided to stop by the Country Barn Cafe for a quick bite to eat. The food was absolutely delicious and a nice young boy named Reef was always accommodating and making sure we were satisfied--we will definitely be coming here again if we ever pass.“
“Excellent coffee in Cocoa Beach! I was staying further north but this was the closest option for good coffee and it's worth driving down. Café has plenty of space and I even stayed and worked for a while. Street parking out front and a small lot at the back.“
“I true gem among the Italian Food Lovers, This is an Italian Family run business , Omg the flavor in their food , meatballs & Lasagna to die for and desserts that make you feel like your in Italy. They always show their love in the food they serve and how they treat their customers. Cant Imagine ever going anywhere else for my Itailian cravings . !! Great Addition to our small community of Merritt Island!“
“This food is so much better then Camp Lejeune. I mean common USMC. I retired in 2016 and was used to getting soggy chicken wings and a salad Buffett run by people with autism. By autism I mean an E5 Navy SK got njp for hooking up with a disabled person. This chow is great. I do believe management needs a kick in the butt for only keeping one elderly white person on the pizza area while the usual Filipino Mafia and crew get to chit chat on the food line not even caring to offer a helping hand. I had a female 04 and male 05 agree with me on this watching her bust her butt. Great food needs better leadership. Oh yeah the views the bees knees.“
