“My group and I are out of towners and were looking for great food while in Melbourne. Not only were we impressed by the taste and quality of the food, but the service was amazing. All of the staff members were extremely friendly and the owner made us feel like celebrities with his engagement with us! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food!“
“Just went here for some Sunday brunch and it was so delicious! I also loved the vibe and the atmosphere. There was some nice Cuban music playing and several cozy spots to choose from. The servers were very kind and the food came out very fast. My sandwich was perfectly made. The bread was nicely toasted and the eggs were soft and fluffy. I will definitely be back again!“
“Don's Hoagies - Melbourne - 5 Stars "There are some men who lift the age they inhabit."- Anderson The man who owns this family-run and eponymously-named restaurant is a trendsetter in the restaurant industry. Don, who for many years could be seen manning the counter in his Marine flat top barking orders to his troops of employees, was a sight to behold. Don took a basic premise - make a sandwich on fresh bread with fresh, real ingredients - and made it his mission. Thirty years ago at its first location, the sandwich board was a smattering of several sandwiches, and it was run in a straightforward way. You want a hoagie? - "There is the list." Do you have a question? - "No questions allowed." Don knew he was providing the best product and no one could touch him. He has a wall of signed portraits, several of whom I know are now deceased. The menu board is now bigger and Don's son currently mans the helm. Gone from the refrigerator case are the missives about working hard, contributing to America, and being proud of what you accomplish. Occasionally, there would be a hand bill written by Don excoriating the Melbourne City Council, The State Legislature, or the food distributors. Although I am a loud, outgoing person, Don always managed to scare me. So I would smile, make brief eye contact, and then quickly look away for fear of angering this great man My perspective changed a few years ago, when I was with my mother at the local country club and, lo and behold, in walked Don and his wife. My first thought was "Hooray! An everyday hard-working guy had made it." He moved effortlessly among the financial elites with ease. Finally, after 25 years, I summoned up enough courage to approach Don. I shook his hand and introduced myself, telling him how much I admired him and his business model. To my surprise, he was a kind, easy-going person and we chatted for a few moments. For several years afterwards, I would go to his restaurant and find him in the zone - barking orders and yelling as per usual, but now I knew the truth of the man behind the mask. Everything is good here. I have been getting the Challenger Hoagie (named after the Space Shuttle) for years. Nothing has changed - you get the same amount of meat you did 30 years ago. The price has gone up, but it is well worth it - loaded up with ham, turkey, capicola, and all the fixin's. If you are the lone person who has never yet been to Don's, I highly suggest you go. Big Boy says if there were a 6th Star, Don's Hoagies would get it.“
“We order very frequently from this Jimmy John’s. Food is great, staff is friendly, and it’s always clean. There’s a gentleman who has taken the time to memorize our order and even asks us how our young children are doing when he sees us—nothing invasive, but he pays attention to customers in a way that shows how much he cares about people and their JJ experience. I’m not sure if he’s the franchise owner or the manager, but he’s wonderful. Clearly trickles down to his team as well.“
“I had just got off MSR I-95 dodging fast driving angry motorists…I had not eaten for several days, and made it into this Subway sandwich shop. I got in and fell out…Well the guys there hooked me right up, in fact they saved my life. Elevated my feet, took my boots off, loosened my belt and started an I.V., feeding me delicious subway sandwiches intravenously until I was revived! Thank you, boys! This is one Paratrooper thats recharged and ready for the ultimate contact sport, life!“
“I had a minor issue with my sub today during what I know was a busy lunch situation, and the manager of the store took the time to call me and personally apologize for the issue. He was so kind and said they'd use it as a learning opportunity. You don't see customer service of that level these days anymore. Really amazing!“
“Very surprised here for this place to be nice again... For so long they were awful... Service was worse the the Burger King down the road... BUT now... They are really good... lots of different workers but they all do a good job now. Super friendly too... So far this is an amazing Subway... Glad to see them back...“
“Mom and pop type of restaurant - nothing fancy but DAMN GOOD FOOD! Their pho is remarkable and so are their banh mi's. We have had the chicken pho and pho tai bo vien, the spring rolls and their boba teas - they are always flexible in terms of accommodating different diets and are fast in service too. Highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant!“
“I went to the firehouse a year ago and got a large sub. It had no meat when I got home.A year later a friend asked me to go there.I was ready to be disappointed.I got an awesome sub, Pleanty of stuff.I'm guessing someone made a mistake the first time around.Great subs...“
“(11/2/2023) I came by to get a really quick lunch between meetings at the Posey Center less than 1 mile away. It was easy to get to and there was no line when I got there. It seemed a little like overkill, but there were like 5 employees waiting on me. Some must have been in training. I got the #13 Original Italian. The deli meats were indeed sliced in front of me (as the commercials say). I got it "Mike's Way" with hots, there was a lot of dramatic splashing of red wine vinegar and olive oil all over the sandwich. The sandwich transported pretty well, but get it to where you're going fast, because it's pretty "wet" with oil and vinegar (soaking through the bag). It was pretty tasty, and an I ate a whole original. I'd do it all over again.“
“Usually have great service but because of a lack of hearing on workers part a sub was made incorrectly with onions and peppers when staff was told there's a big onion allergy and please scrap the grill the cook didn't scrap grill and put onions on the food.the cook got very unprofessional by most employers standards. But I guess cussing out guests is ok by the new owners standards.“
“Jersey Mike is good. Consistent subs. Cheesesteaks are good if cooked and chopped right with the cheese mixed in. It’s a good sun shop to come to for a quick lunch. They have chips and drinks as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomeParking: Lots of parking“
“Nice sized sandwiches, generous with ingredients, made to order. Friendly staff. Quick service. Turkey & Swiss on wheat wrap “expertly” prepared — wrap didn’t come apart while eating sandwich. Italian on wheat roll with just the right amount of oil & vinegar so that bread was not soggy. Limited parking. Located in a busy strip mall.“
“After working hard out in the hot sun, eating a nice hot melty sub in the cool air conditioning with a huge drink was super refreshing and the employees were super welcoming, came around to ask if everything was good with our order. I would definitely go there again.“
“I would like to thank everyone at the Cocoa Beach location for their great service on a very large pick up order I placed Fri, 8-4-23. This was for a business meeting. Sean was very helpful when I had to call last minute and add more to the online order. Sean was very professional and got everything right. But I would like to acknowledge everyone at this location including management. Thank you so much.“
“Recently we have been ordering from this location quite often and we every time the order has been prepared correctly. Service is quick and friendly. Since money is a little tight right now, their bogos or foot log deals come very handy when feeding a family of four. The locations is clean and no hassles with parking.“
“Best subway in town! Always fresh and friendly. Lily and her ladies really make sandwich making an art. Check it out during holidays they are festive and decorative! Also stockings for the employees they work hard go bless them! Also super cool snowman wacky waving inflatable tube man out front.“
“The staff was very friendly and kind. The atmosphere is a little boring but that's okay. The food was surprisingly really delicious. The prices are decent also. Very clean establishment. I enjoyed myself and my kids enjoyed their meals.“
