Every waiter we encountered had a smile, was punctual, and in our case our waffle was hard and they took off some money from the final check. Food wise, they have a lot of healthy options that taste good, by far the best tasting eggs i have ever had while eating out. Theirbreakfast potatoes are also very well seasoned. The plain iced coffee is also OUTSTANDING!“

Alaia's Cafe Cafe • $

“The food and drinks are delicious and the staff are very kind!I ordered a chai frappe and a kiwi refresher as well as a breakfast empanada and a beef empanada. The drinks had great flavor and were the perfect temperature. The empanadas were warm, crisp, and packed with flavorful filling. The environment was chill and had more of a "lounge" feel.*It took quite a bit longer than expected to receive our order despite being the only ones in the cafe and having ordered to-go. It could be because of the "hang-out, look at some cigars" vibe they're going for but there were also two people present but only one person worked on our order. This is just to say that I recommend this place as a leisurely lunch or snack stop but maybe not a "swing by before work" place.I will absolutely be returning.“

My wife had the philly cheese steak and she ranted and raved over how amazing it was and it was huge! I ordered the fried mullet with greens and fries and hush puppies. Hands down that was some of the sweetest fish that has ever swam down to my tummy! This place knows a thing or 2 about seafood, sandwiches, and don't even get me started on their amazing desert showcase! The lemon meringue and the chocolate meringue were so devine it had me searching for the nearest church to repent for my over indulgence!“

“I had been hearing about the chicken salad at Jo's so my friend and I decided to stop by one day. But first, let me tell you about the atmosphere. The restaurant is located in what I can only describe as an oasis of beauty and tranquility known as DUH. There is also a retail store and furniture store located there. The grounds are reminiscent of maybe a beautiful place in Europe, I just love it. Please make an effort to visit if you're ever at 9th Ave and Wright St.The restaurant is small and intimate, with a bar and it's quite lovely. We were seated quickly, I would recommend a seat in the room to the right as it's a little removed from the front door and a little more intimate. We started off with cups of really delicious and well seasoned gumbo and I decided to order the salad sampler which consisted of a scoop of chicken salad, tuna and egg salad. It also came with a slice of poppyseed bread that was divine and you can even purchase a whole loaf. The chicken salad was everything I heard about, delicious with just a hint if sweetness from apple chunks. The tuna and egg salads were also first rate. My bestie had a chicken salad sandwich and a side salad and she was very pleased. But, let's talk about the bread pudding. Ohhhh my, it was Heavenly! It was soft, warm and it melted in my mouth. I had the whiskey sauce and my friend ordered the amaretto sauce and we both ordered extra to go, it's that good, probably the best I've EVER tasted! Don't pass it up! Service was spot on, we never had to ask for a thing! Jo's is also a perfect spot for a baby shower or bridal shower, it has a very feminine touch. Do yourself a flavor and gooooo!Parking: Parking is limited, the lot is small.“

“A place that takes me back to high school!? ☕️Cafe Single Fin has delicious food and drinks—one of my favorite places to get a dirty chai latte in Pensacola!Atmosphere: Located in the Waterboyz Surf & Skateshop, the cafe is located on the left-hand side of the space and has a cozy nook feel to it! The whole place is of course themed surfing and skateboarding with decorative pieces all on the walls in the space. A lot of the time they have live music being played by local artists!Service: You order at the counter, and then they bring the food out to you! The ordering process is smooth with menus set up at the front when you first walk in.Menu items: I’ve been getting their Sunzal Tacos for years! They’re so flavorful and pair well with an acai bowl. I get their Ala Moana bowl (blueberries, strawberries, banana, and granola) as well as their Shorebreak smoothie (almond milk, blueberries, strawberries, and banana). Their Dirty Chai Latte is one of the best I’ve had in Pensacola; it can be hard to make it taste just right, and they do such a great job with it! The food and drinks never disappoint!Cafe Single Fin is one of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants in our area! Their menu is varied to accommodate breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just a little sweet or drink to take to go! ??“

“Cute cafe across from the library downtown! David took amazing care of us and was not only knowledgeable of the menu but overflowed with excitement about their simple yet delicious plates. They have a delicious thirst quenching housemade lemonade served in a big ol' mason jar, and I tried their BBQ pulled pork sandwich. David was excited to tell me that they smoked the Boston butt in house as well as sauced it with their very own BBQ Sauce. It was served with a pickle, choice of chips and a delicious homemade potato salad. I couldn't finish it- the portion was more than enough- but I had to save room for someyhing of the dessert menu David was boasting about... The Raspberry Royale did not disappoint! andddddd became my favorite part of the entire experience- I urge you to save room for one of their homemade desserts! ADDITIONALLY- they offer FREE DELIVERY in Downtown Pensacola! Loved this place so much!“

“I like how this place is off the beaten path. Their coffee was delicious (vanilla latte + the Hughes from their signature drinks) We got the shrimp n grits & egg/steak sandwich. The grits were immensely lacking flavor, they needed some spice or cheese or jalapeños or something. The potatoes were floppy/soggy. Not crispy at all. Sausage probably would’ve been better. BUT the vibes were great, love that it’s attached to a barbershop. Found parking on the street. Server was good.“

“I've heard about this place and decided to stop in and check it out. Don't let the outside of the building fool you, once inside it's comfortable and the staff are super friendly. Just what you'd expect from a locally owned Southern restaurant. I tried the Fish and Chips today. The fish could have been a little firmer for my liking, but that's what happens when you deep fry white fish. Having said that, it was still very good and well seasoned. The portion size was huge, half plate of home cut fries and 3 pieces of fish. The side I chose was Mac & Cheese. You could tell it wasn't industrial canned stuff. Light and creamy. I actually got to talk to the owner and she was very nice and pleasant to talk to. They have a small core menu but most of their items change daily and are made fresh and to order. I only give it 4 stars because I've only eaten there once so I'll have to go back and try some more items. Overall I'd recommend driving from wherever you are to stop inside, I feel you won't be disappointed.“
