“There was no one else but me and all servers simply ignored me even though I said good morning verbally and after 5 minutes I signed to them.The older lady did acknowledge my presence then and I purchased $129 food. Food is good cut there is room for coaching servers to acknowledge customers. Go for the food not the service.“

“Motek is my absolute favorite Mediterranean restaurant in South Florida. It has it all from the ambiance, to the decor, to the delicious food. This restaurant is set in the heart of Coral Gables boasting a natural earthy theme accented with Mediterranean-style decor. The restaurant is centered with a bar and tree branching over to the seats. The interior is spacious with many seating options including booths, tables, and bar seats. They also have outdoor seating but it is limited.In terms of food, you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Menu items come out hot and fresh filled with so much spice and flavor. The breads are soft and chewy, the dips are the perfect texture, and the falafel is fresh and crunchy. My party ordered the falafel pita, Spain flat pita, hummus, babaganoush, and extra Lafah bread. Every single item was to die for. This being said, prices are on the higher end but this is an upscale restaurant so it was already expected.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to give good recommendations based on our needs. Parking is easy to find on the street or in a local garage.If there is one place you are looking to try in South Florida, Motek is where you should go!“

“My family loves eating here, it’s always a good meal. We’ve brought friends and family to dine here with us and they’ve all come back on their own time. We love ordering tapas style and sharing, especially their chicken biryani rice and the yellow lentil daal. This has become one of our favorite dinner spots a I couldn’t recommend it enough!“

“Hole in the wall grocery shop with a variety of middle eastern seasoning, rice, canned pickles, cookies, and more. In the back there is a restaurant that sells plates of falafel, hummus, and meat. There you could also find frozen food imported from the Middle East. In the front, you can find a variety of cheese and desserts like baklava. My personal favorite are the pistachio, walnut and cashew baklava.“
