“This restaurant is located in a strip mall and will not overwhelm you with ambiance, but with excellent fresh fish prepared to your liking! Maria handled the front end of the business, to a full house, with absolute efficiency and a great personality! I had blackened grouper which was superb and my wife delicious raw oysters and crab cakes! We both found the restaurant memorable and we will return next time we are in the Jacksonville beach area!“
“First off let me say that I work overseas and my wife really wanted nacho. So I placed an order through door dash and wasn’t able to make special request through the app. I then called your store and Courtney answered my call. She went above and beyond to make sure that my wife’s nachos wouldn’t get soggy by placing everything on the side. My wife also loves your green sauce but I couldn’t remember which one. So Courtney put all the green sauces that y’all make in our order. Which was absolutely amazing! Oh and my wife loved them all! Courtney also wrote a very heartfelt note that just made my wife’s day! So thank you very much Courtney and Tijuana Flats for making my wife’s night. When I am home we are planning on stopping to say hi and thank you in person!“

“The inside of the restaurant was clean, and since we weren't familiar with Peruvian cuisine, the server kindly helped us choose dishes?The seafood in the Ceviche was very fresh, the fried squid was soft and delicious, and the rice dish was delicious with the seafood stock . My Japanese friends and I have been eating fresh sushi and sashimi in Japan, so we are very picky about the quality of the seafood, but we can recommend this place. “This is one of the best places for tacos and burritos in the Jacksonville area. We order from here all the time and are never disappointed. Their quesabirria tacos are amazing and so are the flauntas and torta. Really anything you order is going to be good. “I lived in the area for three years a while back. Ate here at least twice a week for the sriracha shrimp tacos. They’re the best taco I’ve ever had. Recently went to the St Augustine Beach location and they had buffalo shrimp tacos instead. Was hoping it was just a location thing, but just perused the menu on here and am sad to see it’s the same here. I was planning on bringing my son and his girlfriend to eat lunch here tomorrow. Not so sure now. I know there was a shortage of sriracha, but I’ve seen lots in the stores lately. Bring back the sriracha shrimp taco please!! Buffalo shrimp is nowhere near as delicious. If I bring my own sriracha can y’all make them like y’all used to just for me?“
“This is an amazing find! A small off the beaten path gem in Atlantic Beach. Every food item was simply outstanding! Appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our server was friendly and engaged. Should business travel bring me back to Jacksonville/Mayport, I will be returning.“

“The owner, Ricardo was a very talented man who worked very hard, and was very kind. He and his family make awesome cabeza quesadillas. The meats he used were amazing and I love his lamb soup. He recently passed away on June 15th, 2023, and I am praying for his family that also work very hard. This taco truck was the best first experience to food trucks for me.Vegetarian options: They can make a quesadilla for you with sautéed veggies. They are also pescatarian friendly.“

“My wife and I stopped by for their Taco Tuesday deal. Birria and Bang Bang Shrimp tacos with house margarita for $11. Started off with chips and queso. Also, ordered Brisket, Korean, and Dr. Jay’s remedy tacos. Yummy tacos! Birria is my favorite for its crispy shell and consommé.“
“My first time there. I was greeted as I came in. The server/cashier was upbeat and personable. She walked me through the menu options and gave me time to make a decision. She took my order and I found a table. The dining room was very clean.My server brought out my food and made sure I had everything I needed. Throughout my stay she would come and check back in to see if I needed anything.The portion was very big (burrito)and came with tortilla chips. I got the combo, which came with a drink and a side. My side was their guacamole.The burrito was delicious. It had the right balance of ingredients. The guacamole was superb; It tasted freshly made.
