“The Lakeland location is better!! The people are nicer and trained well. At the Riverview store we were told to take menus abd sit down until we knew what we wanted to order, there was no one behind us. Then the girl did not know how to ring up my food. Then my order was brought out without one of my sides and instead of leaving the food she brought, she took it all back . Now my food was warmish when it came to the table instead of hot. I was with friends who ordered right after me, but their food came out AFTER the people who came in and ordered after us. Clerk (waitress) only came to our table once to check on drinks and if we needed anything. I will drive to the Lakeland store.“
“My wife and I came in after church and was pleasantly greeted and given an overview of the menu. She ordered the brisket, potato salad and baked beans. I ordered ribs, brisket, potato salad, and rice & peas. Everything was to our satisfaction! As my wife is eating, all I hear her say is “ok, come through brisket!” I take it she really likes the brisket. ? The ribs were fall off the bone good, the brisket was juicy and flavorful. The rice and peas were spot on and the other sides, and cornbread were good. We will definitely be coming back for more.“
“Atmosphere was pretty good. The place was clean overall. The server I had was actually very good and attentive. The food wasn't that bad. I did enjoy the selection of sides. I had a burger with bacon. I wish they would have a better selection of burgers as they're pretty freaking boring. It's definitely something I would probably go back and eat again. Restaurants have been disappointing me lately and this one did pretty good“
“A great local place to eat. Right on the river. Coming from out of town we were looking for a local place with great food. Not our usual crowd but so glad we went the food was amazing and the young girl who made it took the time to come and talk to us and share a little more about her town. The personal touch was an added bonus.“
“This location is consistently good and focused on the customer. The management team is engaged and helpful which I think contributes to smooth running. The atmosphere isn’t anything overly exciting but it is clean and they pay attention to keeping fixtures dust free and clear of debris. Very in my opinion to contribute to overall customer experience.“
“I just got off the TB-BBQ-BoatCruise catered by My Mamas BBQ and let me just say the food is DELICIOUS. The cruise offered two meats, three sides, and a dinner roll along with a 4 hour cruise along the bay. The meats prepared were seasoned so well I almost forgot there was bbq sauce provided. The side dishes were finger licking. Everything was amazing. I can’t wait to do it all again.“
“I am from Texas and good brisket is when the only thing you need utensils wise is a plastic fork. That is the test, and this place passed with flying colors. Amazing brisket and the beans were spot on, only thing missing was Shiner Bock on draft!!!!“
“We had Woodro cater our son's college grad party just a few weeks ago. His food was fantastic and his service was spectacular. Just a week before the party, we had to change the date. No problems for Woodro - he worked everything out! We received tons of compliments on the quality and taste of the food - from some of the pickiest people we know! We had people requesting his info for their future catering needs and that says enough right there! His sauces were great! The homemade bread was fabulous.The potato salad was a huge hit as was the homemade mac and cheese! We recommend you try the ...everything!
