“Food was phenomenal. First time here. Didn't realize you got free hot pot on your birthday but the lovely man at the front offered a free beverage even after it was 1 day after my birthday. There customer service was expectional. Even cutting and checking our meat so we didn't burn it. Food quality was through the roof and prawns was the size of my hand. Great attention to detail. Best hot pot and BBQ in Tampa. I can't wait to go back. Nelson was our server and he was expectional and outstanding.“
“The staff was sooo amazing!!! The food is to die for here!!! I posted pictures of the barbecue bowl and empanadas and had everyone asking me where it's from! We live in tarpon springs and definitely will do the drive to come back here often!! The corn bread stuffing was also so so amazing! “Food was very delicious! We got the bbq pork sandwich platter with tots and Mac as well as the bbq nachos. You could taste the smoke flavor on the bbq. I will note that all of the bbq sauces are sweet, which I like sweet bbq sauces so that was fine with me. They had some unique flavors of them too! I thought the prices were good for how much food we got. There is outdoor seating in the back and a little bit of indoor seating inside. The girl who took our order was very polite and answered any questions we had.“
“So I happened to try Mission BBQ technically for the first time. I had a family member who purchased a beef brisket, and we thought it was hers until she advised us that it was from Mission BBQ. Upon arriving, the store was very clean, and the service was outstanding. The cashier helped me and gave me recommendations on what to purchase as this was my first time, ordering an entire meal. I decided to get the lean brisket, collard greens, their cheesy potatoes, and it came with a piece of cornbread. All I’m going to say is that the food was very delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant!! I am a foodie, and I know what good eating tastes and feels like lol the brisket was seasoned to the T! The cornbread was hot and sweet, and melted in my mouth! The cheesy potatoes was very delicious and it tasted like sour cream could’ve been made with it. It was very creamy and delicious! I have not tasted the greens yet, but just know when I do I will close my eyes and do my happy dance because the food took me to a happy place! I literally contacted the manager , Matt, to let him know that I was sitting outside in my car and refused to pull off because I had to let them know how wonderful they did. “LOVE this bar and grill! fun atmosphere, staff are amazing. there are a good 8-10 TVs to watch sports, live music. the outdoor game area is fun with bocce ball, corn hole, Jenga. great local beers and beers from all over USA, foreign beers, and domestic. the beer selection had to have had way over 60 different beers to choose from! great food + dog friendly! love it was built around a 1971 airstream! come and enjoy real beer adventure and party out back!“
“Great take out dinner. The chicken and beef are expertly smoked and are awesome with or without the Sauce. The barbecue sauce has a mild spice with a zip of vinegar and is very addicting. I highly recommend the food. I am sure the ribs are great but we are not pork eaters. Order ahead to make sure they don’t run out.“

“Good food, reasonably priced. They don't have a huge printed menu like other large chain BBQ places. Just look over the cashier for what you want. I recommend the black plate special. I've never had a smoked steak before, and you literally cut it with a disposable knife. It's my go-to, but they tend to sell out quickly at lunchtime.“

Everyone was very friendly and the menu items have cute names, like Aunt Soandsos potato salad, or Uncle Somebody's slap yourself cornbreadmuffin. I had the pulled pork dinner w/potato salad and baked beans. The pork was a heaping pile and the bbq sauce was amazing. Hubby had the rib dinner w/collards and potato salad and a corn bread muffin. His ribs were delicious and the sauce complimented the flavor nicely. However, with the exception of the collards, the sides were just ok. The cornbread muffin was dry and crumbled, potato salad was very eggs and the potatoes were a bit undercooked, and the baked beans had none of that amazing bbq taste, just warm beans. But, who goes for the sides!?! We did have to pay for parking across the street, but it is Ybor. All in all it was definitely a delight and we will be back.“

GENEROUS portions and SCRUMPTIOUS food made our stomach smile and our evening fantastic! The building was relaxing and bright so we dined in. “Wow, I just had the best experience, ever, at the Brisket Shoppe. This was my second time in, my first time was also a great experience, they asked me if I had been in before and when I said no proceeded to take me on a tour of the place! This time I came in and they just made me feel like family. “The Brisket Boys” as I like to refer to them in my head, were all so kind and inviting, felt like I’d known them all my life. The food: well this is the only place in Tampa that is frying in pure beef tallow. Every other place that boasts “tallow fries” actually cuts the tallow with some kind of seed oil. I avoid seed oils like the plague, so this means a lot to me! Even the gravy I dipped my fries into didn’t have any sketchy ingredients. The brisket was melt in your mouth and I loved the seasoning. I highly recommend The Brisket Shoppe!“

I usually have problems with my steak temperature at different restaurants BUT THE CHEF HAD MY MEDIUM WELL STEAK SPOT ON ?. IT WAS JUICY, SUCCULENT, WARM WITH A LIL PINK IN THE MIDDLE!!! “OK to start off I grew up on a pig farm ... grew up with 2 of the best bbq spots in the US.... this surpassed every expectation I had ... the pork is cooked to perfection .... moist with a perfect crust .... the collards where knocked out of the park ... I spent 20 bucks with dinner drink and tip .... I will be making this my regular bbq spot ... and for those saying the prices are too high need to learn that good isn't cheap and cheap isn't good and this is exceptional bbq .... originally stopped to give it a shot just from seeing the old growth oak laying on the side .... but the flavor the textures all around atmosphere and aroma got me to give it a shot.. “I’ve been going to Perry’s since I was a little girl. On weekends with my family, we used to stop by here together, after perusing through the mall, and would have a nice meal together. The employees were always so friendly and kind each and every time. The quality is always amazing, the portion sizes are huge and generous, and the food is always fresh. I have never been disappointed coming here and despite there being newer locations, this one still has my heart after all this time. Over the past twenty years, the mall has changed a lot and has gone quite downhill. And yet, Perry’s is still the same. I came back here today after not visiting for almost 6 years. As expected, the food was exactly how I remembered. This is such a good spot for Chinese takeout and you really get your bang for your buck (a basic combo is somehow only $10 even in this economy)! “They catered an event I was at and totally knocked it out of the park. This was some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever had, the Mac’n’Cheese was fantastic, and the Banana Pudding was INSANELY good. I don’t think another banana pudding will ever match this. Highly recommend and wish they were closer to me in St. Pete so I could have it again“
