“From all the Salsas in Jacksonville this is the best one. Almost every weekend we travel from Orange Park to St. John’s to eat here. The servers are great and the food is delicious. The manager and his wife are very friendly and hospitable. My favorite plate is the chicken and shrimp fajitas and they always prepare them the way I like them. “The food was delicious. I mean, salsa was fresh, the entree was amazing, and they surprised me with the dessert. The price was appropriate for the amount of food they serve (value on the dollar). The waitress was super attentive, and the ambiance was great for a casual Valentine's date with my wife. I will definitely be coming back as it has become my favorite Mexican restaurant. “This is now our go to Taco Bell, now that it's opened. So far we have had a very good experience going here, hey have always gotten our order right, and the food has always been fresh and hot. My wife loves Taco Bell, so I imagine we will continue to eat here at least once a month for a long time to come!“

“This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Their food is awesome, very flavorable. Add that to the off the charts service, I refuse to go anywhere else for Mexican cuisine. I eat there at least 2 times a week. My drink is never empty. There is always bubbling laughter and great music. It is always meticulously clean. With mouth watering aromas to tantalize your appetite. You have got to try it.“

“Stopped by tonight since it's Taco Tuesday. My 15 year got an all in burrito & I had the street corn. He wanted me to write the burrito was "bussin". That's a great compliment coming from a teenager! The street corn was delicious & authentic. We will definitely be back to try more.“

“Love the art of the place, but more importantly the food. We got a chimichanga, street taco of chicharron and I got the cerdo plate, highly recommended if you're doing lazy keto. They allowed us a couple of substitutions at not charge. On Sunday they have a margarita pitcher at a good price, good for 4 glasses. It was not a super busy, so service was fast even outside. Price was fair. We will definitely come back! ???“

I’ve had better, but the food was pretty decent, but the great service we received made up for any issues we had at all. We loved her so much we were trying to get her to come work at a restaurant near where we lived so we wouldn’t have to drive so far to get to have such great service again the chicken taco was good but could’ve used a little more cheese and the chicken enchilada was good but needed more cheese and more sauce but like I said, the service was amazing she apologize she asked us to please try it again and we probably will. Management should be proud of the great team they have GREAT JOB. The food is so fresh and yummy the birria, caldos are full of flavor the steaks are cooked perfectly. “This was our first time at Las Tapatias Mexican restaurant and 4 of us dined in last evening. The dinners were all so good and very authenticity prepared Mexican cuisine! I had Barria Cabrito and this is the only place outside of Texas that I have found Cabrito and it was fantastic. However, the menue stated braised goat chunks and it was actually prepared as barbicoa but still delicious, served with rice, beans, home style corn tortias, chopped onions and cilantro! All 4 of us loved the experience and we will definitely return very soon to try the Caldos!Tim“

The hosts are lovely to their customers and very accommodating. It was their food truck that pulled me to their brick and mortar store. “Los Loros is a pretty good Mexican restaurant overall. Their level of customer service is superb. The waitress we had was very attentive and courteous. The food was fresh. The only issue I had with the restaurant is that their take on Mexican food is more like home cooked Mexican rather than the restaurant taqueria-style that I tend to prefer. For example, their take on Mexican rice also includes corn, carrots, and lima beans. I prefer just rice instead. The carne asada was also a bit chewy but, overall, the flavor was good.Los Loros also has Chile Rellenos which are quite generous compared to other restaurants. My only critique is that they should probably cook the pablano chilies a bit longer as they were slightly chewy.On a positive note, the salsa they serve with the chips was awesome. They serve a blended salsa rather than the chunky stuff you find at other places. It was quite delicious. They also have a spicier salsa that they will provide you although, unlike other places, they charge $2 if you ask for it.I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out as their food is pretty tasty overall.“

“Place is so great that I go way more than i should and have gained some weight because of it, but it's my favorite local Mexican food, and the service has always been great. So great in fact, that I recognize someone on here that always used to come in until he got kicked out for derogatory comments towards the staff for not giving him "special treatment"I've heard the guy loudly proclaim how much money he's spent there on five or six different occasions (I kid you not), but still kept coming back everyday for some reason. “I am from Tucson, Arizona which has just been voted number one as a city for having fantastic Mexican food. Tucson is very close to the border of Mexico and the Mexican food is exquisite. I have gone to many Mexican restaurants here, because I miss the food so much, and nothing tastes like Sonoran Mexican food as La Nopalera does. I went to lunch the other day and my server was a man by the name of Oscar. The food was beyond perfect, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the ambiance was wonderful! We ordered everything to go cuz it was so packed and we didn't want to wait.Even as busy as it was, our order was ready in literally 10 minutes. Amazing customer service!Although still not the most authentic Mexican we've had, it's still one of the best in Southern Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra. I think next time we'll actually eat in the restaurant to get appropriate sauces, salsa, and other condiments. “First off let me say that I work overseas and my wife really wanted nacho. So I placed an order through door dash and wasn’t able to make special request through the app. I then called your store and Courtney answered my call. She went above and beyond to make sure that my wife’s nachos wouldn’t get soggy by placing everything on the side. My wife also loves your green sauce but I couldn’t remember which one. So Courtney put all the green sauces that y’all make in our order. Which was absolutely amazing! Oh and my wife loved them all! Courtney also wrote a very heartfelt note that just made my wife’s day! “Easily the best of all the Cantina Louie’s! Victoria, Alex, Will, Oxford, CJ, Amanda, and all the staff are excellent! Service is the best you will find at a chain type restaurant. Victoria does an amazing job running her store and her team! Food is great, I’ve personally eaten there well over 100 times and I’ve never left disappointed.
