“It's been years since I had one of their pies when they were on Swift Rd. I thought they were out of business and while searching Google maps for something I saw the Bee Ridge store. To say they're awesome still falls short. There goes my waistline.“
“My wife and I decided to try this restaurant on Saint Armand's Cirlcle in Sarasota since it was pretty lively and had outside seating- both positives when trying to handle a 2 year old during dinner without being a major bother. Even though it was a busy weekday evening in the circle (which is standard there), we were seated quickly and easily, and the service was nice throughout.I ordered the grouper tacos, which were rather good, and accented well by the seet plantains and black beans. My wife got a salad, my daughter got mac and cheese and my son the chicken thumbs, and they all seemed happy with their choices. The price is unsurprisingly pretty high considering, though that's standard for the area. Overall, it was a nice stop and worth a look if spending some time on the busy circle.“
“From the outside the restaurant does not look very attractive, however when you enter it has a family atmosphere and the person who serves is a very friendly lady. The dishes are very homemade and delicious. They also sell Jamaican drinks and the food prices are reasonable.“
“We have eaten here 2 nights in a row because the food is amazing and the service is wonderful. We had fillet mignon, chicken Alfredo, rib eye, tomato soup, crab cakes and desserts and everything was delicious. Our server, Semi was great - very professional, courteous and assertive. We highly recommend this restaurant!“
“If you have a chance to stop by this place, DO IT!!! I drive by here every day and oh my goodness, it tastes as good as it smells!! Nothing like that smoked meat aroma. We got the pulled pork and Jamaican jerk chicken meals. There was so much food, 2 meals fed 4 people, and their house sauce was sooo delicious. I would go back just to get more of their sauce lol. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu items.“
